The Collection Exhilarating Vanilla

Best vanilla scent out there. Smells like when you pour the pure vanilla extract into the batter while baking cinnamon rolls from scratch, amazing. At the same time sticky sweet yet not very gourmand, kinda like if rum weren't very boozy? It's grounded with some earthy, almost yeasty scent and some powdery spice with labdanum at the base. It does lean masculine but I know bold women who would wear this. Definitely a winter scent, night especially. It smells very vanilla but not like any other vanilla fragrance. If you're like me and love vanilla but every vanilla scent is either too feminine or is Tobacco Vanille, this might be for you. It's way overpriced but it's also really strong, sillage is crazy from two sprays and lasts forever. I get the Babycat comparison and Amore Caffe (but this has no coffee scent at all), although it's not really that similar to Babycat either imo.

This fragrance is definitely designed for men rather than women. It features a smoky and vanilla composition, with the smoky notes being more dominant than the vanilla - about a 60/40 balance. For me, this scent has become a true favorite. The longevity is impressive: it lasts around 7 hours on the skin and even longer on clothes. It performs best in cooler weather and is not ideal for summer use. Overall, it's a warm, deep, and very appealing fragrance.

The initial spray smells like your dark vanilla with touch of spices. It reminds me "by the Fireplace" from Maison Martin. Also similar to Bois Talisman from Dior. Definitely for cold weather and nights. I liked it

Hard to find and really not one for blind buying. I like this- it's in the same genre as antique vanille but with more smoke/burn. Lasts a good 6 hrs and is a vanilla that is not overly sweet. The price however will prevent me from buying- this is not unique enough to warrant 160 euros when you could reach for byredo or Killian for the same price with more interesting profiles. I'm not a big fan of Boss but this was a standout within their "the collection" line

Vanilla bomb, but in a good way. At the first spray it feels like it’s going to be a sweet, almost gourmand vanilla. But once it dries, the boozy side comes in, giving it a deeper, slightly dirty twist — almost like whisky mixed with soft leather. Definitely a party‐time night fragrance, but it’s not too loud so that you can pull it off casually, too. Warm, boozy, grown‐up vanilla.

A very woody vanilla, in the same family as Bouquet Ideale, Raghba, and Bois Talisman. It smells like wood varnish, but I find it really nice. It lasts around 8 hours on my skin, with moderate projection. Scent: 7.5/10 Projection: 7/10 Longevity: 8.5/10

not very good, it is like a dark burnt woody vanilla, and not in a really good way. It is kind of fun to smell for a few minutes, but it is not something that I think you would really want to wear for very long. In other words it is a bit chopped. I thought it leaned quite a bit masculine because of the darkness, but it did have a perfumey aspect that seemed a little feminine. I had a woman smell it and give me her opinion, and she thought it smelled feminine because of the strong vanilla. Although I still insist that it leans masculine because of the darkness. Either way, it doesn’t matter, because I would not want to wear this for very long.

This is a great vanilla fragrance that's on the darker side, has a note that "feels" like coffee, though it isn't, that note also reminds me of fragrances from Comme de garcon, I don't know what is it, but it adds luxury and you'd need a minute or two to go into it. Whoever knows what's this im smelling please comment. That not fades slowly into the dry down, which is the best part of this fragrance, whatever that note is the composition would have been way better if it's not there or if it behaved differently. This fragrance smells more like charred vanilla, vs smokey vanilla if this makes sense, probably birch is used. I'd wear it if I don't have 5 bottles of Montale's dark vanilla, which is a superior fragrance to my taste.

My new crush; a very high end fragrance that is showcasing the dark side of a vanilla bean (like the ones sold in a glass tube). It is a very pleasant vanilla, not sweet and artificial. It has some vibes of YSL Babycat but in a more rough way. And I am positively surprised to smell it in a Boss collection! This said, the rest of the collection is great too. But, 100ml is way too big, please Boss make a discovery set and also smaller sizes? I will buy many of them ☺️

An unconventional vanilla scent. Darker for sure but I don't know what the reviewer below me is talking about when they mentioned giving off YSL Babycat vibes... no, it does not. Exhilarating vanilla is not a "pleasant" vanilla. It is not blind buy safe. It does not get decent until dry down. Would you pay $325 for that? Up to you.

Musculine version of Mancerat - Amore cafe .. Intense woods and hint of fougeres and labdanum at the base .. If u are a man who finds most vanilla releases a bit too feminine/soft/sugary for you .. then give this a try

Masculine, deep, dark, rich vanilla. I love this stuff actually; YSL Babycat for men. Without the fresh unused diaper pad plastic. A little charred, a little roasted and a little metallic somehow.
