The Collection Passionate Chypre

Just like invincible bergamot is an Aventus wannabe but with leather and is indeed not bad. Whereas passionate chypre drydown is has similarities to 540 extrait, and the opening has additional black cherry mixed into the dna, so it's Boss answer to the 540 dna with a nice cherry twist to it. Pretty nice though

It is solid one from collection Been always skeptical to go for collection line But this one stands out it is oak mosy scent and really unique BR vibe in the dry down But forecast DNA at opening I have it in my collection

I give this a solid 8.5/10 unisex fragrance. Great perfume for date nights. Smells sexy kinda like cherry cotton candy with moss. Last pretty long on skin around 6-7 hours and strong sillage as well.

I blindly bought Passionate Chypre, and I didn’t like it... at least for now. In general, it leans more feminine than truly unisex. I can understand that some men could wear it, but don’t expect anything overtly masculine. It has a noticeable lipstick-like note that starts cloying and dries down into a strange sweetness. I had a similar issue with the iris in Gentleman EDP, but to be fair, that waxy, makeup-like smell isn’t overpowering here—especially once you stop sniffing so close to the skin and let it settle. The overall vibe is a modern take on an elegant fragrance. It feels like something that would wear well with a suit or at a chic event. For those who enjoy this kind of iris note, it could be a good choice. Still, I’d recommend sampling it first, as it’s quite different from the more traditional iris-forward perfumes I’m familiar with. I’ll give it a proper wear before making a final judgment, but for now, it feels like a bit of a disappointment. EDIT: Now I really like it lol

It’s a very mossy dusty cherry forward version of BR extrait, the opening 30 mins has a slightly weird dusty cherry + bran or wheat type smell which later settles down to the BR 540 + moss dna

such a disappointment, was expecting something like hacivat with cherry replacing the pineapple or something along those lines, instead it's a faint, dusty, indistinguishable, unremarkable smell. just like baccarat.

The baccarat rouge comparisons are unfair. This is in a league of its own entirely; if anything it smells a lot more like Boss' answer to Gris Dior from the private line. Mature, elegant, intelligent, and doesn't lean more than 60/65% fem.
