Skarb

A linear frankincense, myrrh and plastick-y celery (lovage, a special variety of celery, according to the house) trio with a noticeable musky chamomille support. That doesn't sound very sexy, but trust me, it is. Projection is poor in the opening, but will increase to average after 30/60min. It will never be loud, be I'm able to smell whiffs several hours in. This one will please (or at least raise the interest) of people who like creativity, intriguing fragrances, and more generally who is a fan of Comme des Garcons fragrances, but for sure not one looking for a mainstream crowdpleasing bulldozer. On my to-buy list, but I will wait for it to appear at discounters. Thumbs up! Fall, unisex, 25+

Friend of mine loves it wear it and completely agrees with the description. Since this is not my kind of scent I'll take his word for it and vote yes. Sometimes if you don't like the scent it doesn't mean it is bad it just not be your thing and this is one of those. Humiecki & Graef are one of those scents that you can not trust reviews; to my experience people have most contrasting reactions to these scents.

Quite unusual opening of Skarb makes it interesting only first 15 minutes. Then it becomes a simple woody-musky fragrance that has much similarities (IMHO) with Aramis Cool. It's not worthy its price.

I stopped caring about marketing strategies when it comes to fragrance. I've heard Skarb is supposed to be a composition about melancholy and tears and I honestly couldn't care less. Skarb is quite good. Skarb strikes a an edulcorated and more wearable (sort of prototype) version of Byredo's M/Mink which in this case is good news for me. A strong and extremely bitter/dry incense note joined by woods and a remarkable herbaceous presence (myrtle/hay) that adds some pungency. Chamomille provides a slight dose of sweetness to balance the general harshness while hints of aquatic notes refine this composition with an odd, but pleasant, touch. Overall I'd rank Skarb as a slightly weird woody/incense composition that is surely far from being an easy wear or a masterpiece but, at the same time, it isn't as scary or disgusting as they want us to believe. If you like modern, twisted compositions, this is good stuff . Rating: 8/10

Unusual but interesting fragrance. The opening is green and a bit watery, and you can pick up the celery note. I also smell chamomile. It's a calm sort of scent which is different and totally niche. As time passes it gets more bitter and almost metallic smelling, though nothing really unpleasant. I don't really get a lot of incense out of it but there is a very faint smokiness somewhere which comes and goes. It's one part fresh and one part aromatic. So all in all, an intriguing mixture of chamomile, faint smoke, aromatic green accords, and some watery notes. One could think it would be hard to pull off such a scent but it's surprisingly easy to wear. Performance is decent, it doesn't project heavily but it does linger on your skin for several hours. One to sample if you like Laudamiel's twisted compositions. 8/10

Fresh green yet herbal chamomile I had this sample since Dec 2014! and i believe i sampled it back then (cause i see now my notes rating here) but didn't understand the concept cause i was still new! But now it is still hazy somehow! i get that sweet mineral water with vegetables as i don't get no chamomile no more after 2 minutes in. More of an airy watery open field in a cloudy morning with some musk, water, light floral, and greens. It's indeed an interesting blend and i still wonder, where are they right now as their last facebook update was in 2014 and they released 2 blends in 2014 "Abime" & "Nouveau-ne" that i remember i was dying to sample them but nowhere to find! i even sent them an email few years ago but no reply! are they closed?

Strange scent...I like it but there is an odd metallic edge that ultimately keeps me from loving it. None of the notes stand out (although I'm not sure I would recognize some of them), and I kind of wish the myrrh was stronger....but it is what it is. I would call it unisex leaning toward masculine. Not quite a bottle purchase for me but intriguing anyway.

This is really nice! Challenging & interesting unusual herbal green top notes transition into a very smooth frankincense & myrrh heart (great balance of incense balsamic sweetness) with still some celery to keep it interesting. It's not a mega projector, but is great for contemplative alone time.
