Milk's Note

Omg i love this so much ! 20/10 It's amazing, the most beautiful milk perfume out there ! I have a few with 2 zeros in the price tag, and this masterpiece beats them all ! Majestic creation, super balanced, not cloying at all with a hint of spiciness to keep all balanced. This is exquisite ! OH my ! Makes me feel like wearing a sheer beaded dress, like a mermaid, and light pink and light blue pastel, with a scarf and perfectly done hair and make up, and float on a cloud towards a purple sky . I am beyond surprised! Truly smells high-end, a niche gourmand worth hundreds of euros. To hell with Bianco Latte, this is a Ferrari in comparison, makes Bianco Latte ashamed... a cloying sickening arab dupe itself compared to this. THIS IS IT. It's airy, floaty and amazing. Caramel is not overpowering at all, this is an ode to a great honey note and mostly, tonka. Whoever created this understands what great gourmand should smell like, and loves Tonka as much as me, and knows how to elevate it. It has a slight "almond milk with melted honey" trace to it, and i'm here for it all the way. The almond-like note could even remind me of a hint of cherry , but undetected per se. This is spun sugar. The concept of a gourmand is to entirely envelop your senses and make you feel comfort and happiness and joy, without making you sneeze, or feel nauseous, or pinch your brain into a headache or being cloying. It has the quality of a great cloud of beauty and elegance. Gourmands SHOULD NOT make you smell like literal cake, they should blend with your skin, and still project an aura of angelic sweetness that becomes irresistible to those around you and makes them wanna lean in towards you, almost like in a spell. ( not sickening, take notes..) This is now my fav gourmand in my overall top perfumes ever ( over 400 bottles collection and tens of thousands tried being a producer myself ) : Maison Mataha Cafe des Delices ( extrait , 190 euros ) , timeless elegance, the only coffee perfume i'll ever love Tonka Kumaru by Atelier Materi ( 240 euros ) , new release a bit more loud, and this, all at first place equally ! After these at second place: only Afternoon Delight By Maison Margiela, airy spun sugared marshmellow ( to which this is very similar in the base ). Those are ALL THE GOURMAND you will ever need in your life ! This is a dream, thank you i Matti !

I imagine if you are reading the reviews about Eminence Perfume Matti Milk Note you either know Bianco Latte, or you love the Bianco Latte, Lattafa Eclair, Induit Tihota, Gioiosa, Vanilla Haze DNA and vibe. I won't repeat what others have already stated 'cause nearly all of the reviews are 99% spot-on. I can just say: I. LOVE. THIS. FRAGRANCE. This fragrance is sweet, dense, creamy, thick, caramel-honey-vanilla fragrance with a slightly earthy, slightly sour tonka bean note. The dry-down is perfectly blended vanilla, milk, musk and honey. I own and love MANY vanilla-centric fragrances. I was tempted to do a comparative list of sorts here but I decided the post would become boring and too long. With all of this said, I'll just say I LOVED LOVED LOVED Bianco Latte initially. Subsequent 100ml bottles smell "off" to my nose. I think this "off" note can be an imbalance of honey and coumarin, two notes I ADORE in BL. Eminence Perfume Matti's Milk Note is 1000% Bianco Latte but with PERFECTLY BALANCED and EXQUISITELY BLENDED honey and NO coumarin notes. So, my search for the "perfect" vanilla-centric fragrance is nearing an end. I've sampled and owned DOZENS of vanilla-centric fragrances. To date, my vanilla fragrance LOVES (in order from first to last) are: 1-Vanille West Indies by Ligne St Barth-undoubtedly the nicest, truest, dreamiest, highest-quality vanilla fragrance I have ever come across. This one garners the most compliments. 2-Gioiosa by Profumum Roma-a bit tropical but absolutely beautiful. 3-Lira by Xerjoff and Love & Crime by Ex Idolo-nearly identical. I prefer Lira 'cause it's thicker, denser, creamier and more gourmand lemon pound cake than Love & Crime... 4-Vaniglia by Mazzalori-IDENTICAL to Ligne St Barth...just wish it weren't so darn OILY. 5-Bianco Latte by Giardini Di Toscana and Matti's Milk Note by Eminence Parfums-they are nearly identical especially in the dry-down, both absolutely positively lovely. 6-Italica by Xerjoff-is this considered a vanilla fragrance? Love it! 7-Fire At Will by Jovoy-like Vaniglia and Vanille West Indies, the ORCHID is to die for. Just wish it lasted longer. There are some honorable mentions, as well. I love Eminence Parfums Matti Milk Note. It's pretty. If you can snag a bottle from their website, I'd definitely give it a try.

Milk's Note shares a similar DNA with other Bianco Latte's dupes like Lattafa Eclaire, Khadlaj Cream Velvet, Caffe Latte and Celeste Toffee. Milk's Note is intimate and soft, so those who expect a loud and huge projection scent, this may not be it. It opens with a soft caramel scent that feels natural and free from synthetic notes, definitely a plus. The lactonic and creamy accords lend a calming, comforting vibe to both the wearer and those nearby. Totally unisex in my opinion as this is not an overly sweet lactonic gourmand release. Tonka bean and musk are present but not overpowering. Everything feels well-balanced and harmoniously blended. Since Milk's Note was released before BL and its counterparts, I’m glad to have it in my collection. I have decided to stop exploring other fragrances with similar profiles, as I already have enough in this category, just like with my popcorn and nutty gourmand scents. Time to appreciate what I have rather than wanting the ones I do not.

Milk Note by Matti I feels like a softer, more refined take on Bianco Latte, leaning into natural creaminess instead of caramel overload. It opens with marshmallow and almond for a cozy sweetness, then blends caramel, milk🥛, honey, tonka, and vanilla into a gentle, skin-close hug. The vibe is nostalgic and comforting, never too much. Performance is moderate to strong, with 4/6 hours of longevity and minimal projection, perfect for personal enjoyment. While reminiscent of Chaboud Milk and softer than Vanilla Haze by Fugazzi, this isn’t a simple Bianco Latte dupe — it’s a more sophisticated, nuanced gourmand.

OMFG - I just had the biggest epiphany of my life. This fragrance came out in 2018. Bianco Latte came out in 2023. They are IDENTICAL (maybe Milk’s Note is a fraction better). Bianco Latte has without question been one of the most meteorically successful perfumes over the last two years. And it’s a knock off of THIS!!!!!! Mind!! Is!! Blown!! This is also half the price.

This is a predominantly creamy lactonic caramel vanilla cent with hints of musk, honey and Tonka.Also, there is no weird alcohol note when you first spray this, like there is with chabaud. It is a beautiful creamy vanilla that will definitely stay in my collection and just may grow closer to my heart with time.

If you like Bianco latte, you will enjoy this! They honestly smelled the same to me. This one is a little bit more oily in nature when you spray. I think the performance is better than Bianco latte, it doesn’t make me sneeze. This also is reminiscence of Gioiosa, which of the 3 is the best in the class!

So so good! This is bianco latte but better in my opinion. The only difference is the warmth, Milks note is a cold condensed milk whereas Bianco Latte is warm. I prefer milks note, there is just something about it! Lasts & projects better too.

Love this!! Prefer this over Biancolatte. Edit: ok, verdict is in and this is DEFINITELY so much better than Biancolatte!! Better performance also.

Bianco Latte with a sweeter, almost candied almond nuance to it. My goodness this is good!!

Remember Pink Sugar? This is her older cousin Milk Sugar. Yes, caramel milk instead of strawberry cotton candy, but Pink Sugar is a lot stronger, though this is pretty strong too. They even have the same ‘burning plastic’ undertone when first sprayed on, but it’s only perceptible when you put your nose on your skin. It’s yummy and the scent softly lingers and wafts around you, it gets better as hours go by and is not at all overpowering. Successful blind buy (from the Eminence Parfum website). I don’t know what Bianco Latte smells like, but I don’t need to know, this one is delicious, a lot less expensive and it literally smells like milk steam, burnt sugar or caramel, and almond essence (the one used for baking). I will enjoy this in the colder months, and I will have fun layering it with other fragrances, but I will not repurchase. It’s nice to have but it’s not a must-have for me.

In the opening (first 5-10 minutes) this is identical to Bianco Latte on my skin. As it starts to dry down some sharpness is coming through that's not present in Bianco Latte, maybe it's the tonkabean? It intrigues me and I keep smelling my wrists. It reminds me of the crunchy sweet smell of caramelized sugar that's on the verge of burning (in a good way). The sillage and longevity are decent. I enjoy gourmand fragrances, but in particular the ones that are balanced with some sharper notes over the ones that are pure sweetness. For this reason I prefer Milk's Note over Bianco Latte. The latter is just too sweet and simple and it bores me after a while, but Milk's Note has just this little difference that makes it interesting to me. While they are very similar, I don't think Milk's Note is a Bianco Latte dupe.

Yes, ok, it’s undeniably similar to all the viral milk/caramel/honey perfumes out there today, but this one is less synthetic and not to mention... came first! She’s thicc with two c’s but not suffocating - which I find to be my biggest issue with caramel forward scents. So if you like this scent profile but also find it overwhelming like myself, Milk’s Note is for you.

A really lovely sweet vanilla scent scent. I can’t say I smell any coconut. For me this is identical to Bianco Latte, which I have and I can’t justify having both.

Just a super weak version of Bianco latte without the coumarin note.. This does not project or last long on me. Could be nice for over spraying and layering, but I would like it more if it had better projection/longevity. I am surprised this doesn’t have more reviews since it does seem to be fairly popular so I figured I’d actually write a review for once! This doesn’t smell like Bianco Latte in my opinion. It’s not creamy or lactonic. I can taste the hard sugar crystals. Doesn’t project or last. I ended up decluttering.

Very similar to Bianco latte. I actually might prefer milks note. Bianco latte is in your face, she’s loud, and can be a bit abrasive at times. Milks note is more subdued, but not a shy or quiet scent either. It’s creamier and a little sweeter than Bianco latte, but is missing the coumarin and honey. It leaves behind a delicate, but noticeable cloud of creamy vanilla milk and caramel deliciousness. Has longevity, about 8-10hrs, and medium sillage. It’s not going to fill a room like Bianco latte, but it will be noticeable for those standing within a few feet of you. I love it. Sometimes Bianco latte can become a bit cloying, I don’t want to be able to smell the perfume on myself all day. Milks note is there, wafting in and out throughout the day, giving my nose a well deserved break.

I think once I finish my bottle of Bianco latte, I’m going to take some time away from this vanilla/caramel/milk dna and if I miss having it in my collection, I will definitely be getting this instead of purchasing Bianco latte. They are undeniably identical, and this one is overall a bit better blended and softer. spraying the sample on it did not make me sneeze like crazy the way Bianco latte does every time that I apply it. I still love Bianco latte and probably always will, but it’s nice to know that a softer version of it exists out on the market that apparently was released first!

This smells like a sweet, powdery vanilla with coconut and a very slight milkiness in the background. I haven't tried Bianco Latte, but if it really is almost identical - wow. THIS is what everyone has been raving about??? So underwhelming. No caramel. Barely any milk. It has no depth. I don't get it. If they sold me this as Coconut Latte, another perfume from the brand, I would 100% believe you. It still doesn't really smell milky though, and it's a cold scent. It's like an iced coconut latte with an obscene amount of sugar that almost completely overpowers the taste of milk.

I don’t have time to write a full review yet, but I will update later. This is the perfume that started it all.. Bianco Latte was inspired by this scent, and for good reason. I was shocked how similar this is to BL and Eclaire.. but it definitely isn’t identical. This smells less like perfume and more like huffing a pot of warm milk infused with caramel and sugar. Also much softer and easier to wear. Actually.. so beautiful and comforting. I hope the perfumer never stops making this because the dupes are seriously not as good

This is such a compliment getter!! I wore milk notes to uni today and got a ton of compliments. After letting this sit for a few week this has gotten sweeter and a lot more better that when I first got this, This last much longer than Bianco latte and I think milk notes smells way better imo, I will definitely be repurchasing this instead of Bianco latte!!! I also need a backup bottle!!!!

This has that toasted marshamllow scent that is similar to Commodity milk. It's not bad but it's not revolutionary either. On my skin, unfortunately tonka bean often develops cough-syrupy and becomes sickening. This does that. If you experience similar things with tonka, maybe skip this one.

One of the only times I truly agree that another fragrance smells IDENTICAL to Bianco Latte. Comparing them side by side I will say this one is maybe a little creamier and slightly less synthetic but otherwise they are pretty much the same.

It's literally the twin sister of Bianco Latte. It's nice, but both of the fragrances share the same glue-like smell.

This really does smell like Bianco Latte and it projects well like BL too. Definitely twinning ♡

I go nose blind to this and bianco latte but they smell so similar! I use them for layering 🍭
