Pistachio & Vanilla

This is such a beautiful, soft, comforting scent. It smells like a pistachio vanilla milkshake, and it is so long-lasting. I wore it before I went to bed, and I still smell it twelve hours later! (albeit, it's just a skin scent, but still excellent performance). My only gripe is that it's not available anywhere in the USA. I had to order it from Italy, which made the shipping costs very expensive. But! I have no regrets.

This is a bright, floral like pistachio! To me, it sits in a class of its own. It is not a photo-realistic, pistachio fragrance. This is a fun, uplifting pistachio, that isn’t too decadent and thick, but rather almost effervescence in nature. I own quite a few pistachio fragrances, and again this, it’s in its own class. If anything, I think vaguely reminiscent to Kayali’s Yum pistachio, but they are not dupes of each other! Perhaps in the same family, but they are definitely different. It definitely has a place in my collection. It does not smell like: Baklava royale Girl of now Pistache perfume Cherosa 62

Creamy pistachio ice cream with dusted cacao powder. Comes off quite powdery due to the cacao being a touch too dry & dusty but still a beautiful gourmand. Gives me lattafa affection vibes but less creamy & floral. Layered together is A1.

I was trying to put my finger on what this smelled like after dry down and I figured it out. YAL LIBRE INTENSE. I agree with the user below that this definitely has a lot of white floral. I would say white floral + amber but definitely NOT pistachio. At all. I mean it’s a good scent if you were expecting vanilla, amber, and white floral. I’m so glad I only got a sample and not the full bottle as I was originally planning.

Not a safe blind buy. This is a sweet but slightly powdery pistachio. This will cool you down in the summertime. I love it.

This was very expensive fail blind buy! never again. Only reason why I did not purchase sample is that Amyris is charging 30 eur for shipping in EU. I really wanted to like it and based on notes, I thought I would but nope, I smell something plasticky in the scent. Is it lactonic? No. Do I smell some vanilla? Perhaps, something in background and in dry down but I also smell some flowers even though they are not listed. I swear its mixed of plastic and flowers I feel like I smelled this before somewhere. I wish I would have gotten Milks note instead but I already have Bianco Latte and I do not want same perfume (especially considering both perfume prices). I am also disappointed in costumer service of both Emini and Amyris. I wrote to Emini (owner of I Matti) and asked why they do not ship from Italy to Slovenia (which is next door), they never replied. I asked Amyris why they are charging 30 eur for shipment when I generated quote for shipment for same company and it was 20-24 eur, they said its their standard shipment. I asked if I could exchange the perfume for anything else for same price, they said no because I opened the package and I should have brought samples. Overall, I am done with both and I recommend all of you to think twice before placing order. This was very expensive mistake.

White floral...something. I don’t smell any of the notes. I get screechy white florals. No gourmand. I had the same experience with Kayalis pistache fragrance. That was also a letdown. Not worth it when you’re looking for the notes mentioned. I don’t get cacao at all. Don’t get custard either. It’s not creamy. It’s not a pistachio milkshake!! Definitely a scrubber!

I was excited to try this as I do enjoy some Pistachio fragrances. However, this one smelled very white floral on me. I know the notes don’t list any floral notes, but that’s just what my nose interpreted. I didn’t get any pistachio or cacao. Chemistry can make or break a fragrance. Unfortunately, this one didn’t work for me.

This smells very reminiscent of Cheirosa 62 from Sol de Janeiro. But imagine you swapped out the sticky and dense caramel for a soft, fluffy, airy, creamy vanilla custard. A really nice pistachio offering that (to me) is not at all similar Kayali's Yum Pistachio. The comparison doesn’t make sense to me when that one is very floral and almost soapy to me while this is not. The IMatti is purely gourmand. If you like the bum bum scent, there’s a very good chance you’ll like this as the pistachio note is the same in both.
