Spezie de Medici

This is at least strange that I’m first who is reviewing so beautiful fragrance. It is probably because of its availability. It is rare fragrance you can buy in Florence or in a few online stores. In Florence it is very cheep – about 20 USD for 50 ml bottle while in US the same volume costs about 100 USD. Spezie de medici is rather linear and really full of spices perfume but not overpowering at all. There is nothing sharp or annoying rather warm and cozy, like gentle pillow. A little bit sweet. However it is not a gourmand fragrance. The most prominent ingredients are cardamom and cloves. The cinnamon is detectable as a gentle touch after 1 hour of wearing it. It lasts on the skin for very long time but after 4-5 hours is mostly skin scent, so the silage is not very big. I swear there is also a drop of mint because wearing it you’ll feel very clean and comfortable.

This is a beautiful fragrance spiced oranges and cinnamon! Perfect for Christmas ! Just think spiced oranges Christmas oils and candles that’s what this smells like ! Very beautifully blended ! Great for this time of year too ! My second favourite fragrance from this house after vaniglia del Madagascar! If you’re looking for a Christmas winter fragrance and loved spiced orange/cinnamon this is perfect for you !

very strong orange note right away with a bed of spices underneath that stays linear. smells quite niche and all the oils seem to be of high quality. It's very unisex and I can see it being worn by all ages. I wouldn't buy it myself because there is a notable undertone of clove that I don't like. Im also struggling to think of an occasion to wear it. It's certainly not fresh/ clean in any way and also not really warm enough for winter. If you like terre d'hermes maybe give it a try, it is certainly a spicy orange smell but the orange is more like smelling the skin not a juicy smell.

I get orange and spices, no orange blossom, no vanilla. The opening is beautiful, Christmas in a bottle, but the dry down is fast and it sort of reminds me of well-chewed cinnamon gum. Maybe if I spray it on my clothes, the beautiful opening will last longer.

I get orange cinnamon tea. Beautiful. Will be great for warm weather.
