Spigo Fiorentino Lavanda Oxford

This is my favorite scent to date! And that‘s mostly because it never ever annoys me (and I get annoyed really easily, lol). It‘s beautifully dry and herbal but also slightly soapy and clean. I bought this in Florence while on summer vacation in Tuscany and proceeded to wear it for the rest of my trip and haven‘t really stopped since. Will most definitely repurchase this when I run out. I think this is absolutely signature scent worthy (sadly longevity and sillage are quite weak, so I guess the hunt continues), and also probably a pretty safe blind buy if you can identify with the notes. Spigo Fiorentino is just really, really pleasant. It‘s spicy herbal soap, it‘s a garden full of lavender and rosemary, it‘s tuscan landscapes at sunset (I feel like I even smell a small hint of cypress but that may be my imagination playing tricks on me), it‘s always classic but never boring. EDIT: something amazing happened to me yesterday! So, I only have one of the tiny shaker bottles of this, which is why I only ever applied it very sparingly, dabbing a little bit on pulse point. And yesterday morning I spilled a bunch of it on my neck, because I wasn‘t paying attention, but I wasn‘t mad at it; to my surprise the scent wasn‘t too strong but noticeable all day: first win! But the real win happened this morning: I woke up and something smelled to delicious and comforting, kind of like cinnamon sugar... wait a minute.... There‘s cinnamon in this?! And it‘s still this strong after 24 hours?!! This scent is the gift that keeps on giving, every stage smells so dang good!!! When I repurchase I will get a bigger bottle. :)

This is by far the most true lavender fragrance I have tried. Okay, there's a teensy bit of spiciness from what must be the cloves and cinnamon but, otherwise, it's lavender all the way. What a shame then that after the initial hour, 5 spritzes barely limps to the into soft silage bracket and longevity just squeaks past 3 hours. That said, to give it more "oomph!" I'd assume would require more ingredients and, frankly, the purity of those that are in this scent should be preserved. I think they're simply glorious. A mixed bag, but not a disappointment by any means. I will enjoy wearing this as an soothing tonic all year round and will definitely buy another bottle when this one's gone.

Bright, aromatic, soft lavender. Hint of soap and spiciness too. Very nice.
