Eau de Iceberg Sensual Musk

I had high hopes for this one, but after initial spray I have the impression that it`s more of a generic, pleasant fruity-flowery frag, one step up from Avon or Oriflame scents or So..?, although some of those ones actually last longer.. Nothing groundbreaking on my skin anyway, a good blast of nice musk and flowers, bit of tobacco in the drydown, dried apricot or peach and a hint of amber and vanilla - donno where from, but it adds to the scent. There is something synthetic-like lingering on during wear, but it could just be the tobacco, not sure..Someone mentioned Belle d`Opium - I see no similarity. As it dries it gets better, but there`s still a cheapie quality about it - I`d say one can call it a good enough budget fragrance, the kind you could use at work, as it`s not strong and appealing enough to nearly anyone, feminine, warm but not really long-lasting..I`m not sure about buying again, but I do recommend trying for those who like cheap musky frags. EDIT: At one point even vanilla ice-cream and one of Comfort`s floral fabric conditioners that I like came in my head, so I would dare to even compare it to that. Not in a bad way though, as I wish my clothes smelled like Comfort fabric conditioner concentrate - but, alas, they never do, only diluted after wash than the actual concentrate..I still think it is a good enough budget frag, and I do recommend trying to those who like musk, vanilla, or flowers.

On me this perfume opens with a blast of fresh, juicy, fruity (?) wave. I guess, it must be the apricot blossom. Then it gets warmer, sweeter (even starts reminding me something like a light amber)and a bit plastic (not in a bad way though). The base is warm, slightly spicy and "fluffy", a bit like a non offensive, rich body cream. I bought it because of the tobacco note, but it's almost non existent here.. just a light, sweet hint of some cherry tobacco in the drydown. But anyway I think this perfume is unusual, carefully made and very nice for everyday wear. I usually wear it for me at home to feel cozy and protected. It has a poor lasting power on me, but I don't mind reapplying, as I have a 100 ml bottle.

This one is a musky ice cream!! Was expecting something more floral- musky like all the musk perfumes out there,maybe even a little bit sharp... but wasn't disapointed at all when i smelled this beauty!! It's just the opposite: very soft and well blended, gentle and close to skin sweet musk. The dominant notes are musk and apricots. I love it very much!

This smells good, but all I smell is fruit and something milky. I like it, but not getting any musk at all. It's a pleasant scent, not particularly long-lasting, but a nice summer scent, easy to wear.

I'm kinda wishing I had picked the cedar one instead, the one listed as 'men's'. Oddly enough this smells more to melikr something my (male) partner would wear than my choice. He likes the sweet scents, and this smells like a sweet Lynx body spray. The musk is OUT THERE!!! Not in a good way, for me. It's a sweet and generic style offering, could be by anyone, most likely Avon. Now Avon have had some good scents, don't think I am bashing Avon, they just have also had some fairly similar, samey scents and this is one of that genre. It's pleasant, if sweetish musk is your thing. I just can't imagine anyone remembering it. Even if I smell awful to someone sometimes, if someone else remembers my perfume and thinks it was amazing, then that makes me happy. This won't be that scent. I can't write a really negative review even, it isn't AWFUL, it's just t h e r e. No tobacco to my nose. It's just a sweet (barely) floral musk. I keep re sniffing my arm just in case but no, that's it.
