Twice Pour Homme

Blind buy after finding a great price at fragrancenet.com a couple weeks ago. Immediate impression was it was an overly "soapy" scent and someone else on here put it perfectly - smells like an industrial cleaner. Once I let it settle down for about 20 minutes I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a very safe scent for nearly all seasons and day or night. I think each guy will find a little different situation to wear this one most often. For me it will most likely be a Spring scent and possibly at the office. It won't knock anyone's socks off, but it's a crisp scent which is a BUY if you find an incredible price and like the other Iceberg scents. Update: Last all day with better than average projection. It is really starting to tempt me to put it into my Top 5. Changes a lot which is a good thing because the open turned me off a bit at first. But now that I know it settles into a great scent it's worth the wait.

I don't understand reviewers on here saying longevity is 3 -5 hours? Are you serious? Dudes go get your noses checked I mean that seriously. This stuff is nuclear! Off the top I get Yuzu, mint, lemon(main note),some lavender and vanilla for sure. Pretty sure there's geranium in here too as it dries down with sandalwood ,lime and some musk. Very nice everyday or casual frag that is quite sweet. Projection - about 2.5 miles Sillage - can smell it yesterday Longevity - until same time tomorrow! You really have to scrub to wash this stuff off, so really good for the money but no more than 2-3 sprays you've been warned ROFL! Top notes are yuzu, mint and lemon; middle notes are carnation, cinnamon, lavender, tarragon, caraway and geranium; base notes are lime, sandalwood, amber, patchouli, musk, vanilla and vetiver.

This was my signature scent in high school. It went along with the baggy Karl Kani jean suits, pants sagging down below my ass, white Nike sneakers and skateboard shoes, blowing trees in the park beside the school, and not having a care in the world. I forget exactly what it smells like, but I think I'm going to buy a bottle and see if it instills some memories of a much simpler time. Hopefully I get that nostalgic feeling. From what I do remember, it was a pretty good, cheap fragrance that was pretty universal. Saw it online for about $30 and I think I'll get me a bottle. Mind you my tastes have changed over time but I think I'd still enjoy this today.

now here is an enigma ....do i like it or not. it opens with a great citrus burst that blows you away and i thought my i don't think i am gonna like this but as the citrus diminishes i get a very spicy vanilla likeable scent i get no florals at all. its quite strong and hangs about for ages the vanilla becoming much stronger. overall i am not that fussed with its opening but it gradually gets better and better as it goes through the heart to finally reach the base and a lasting mellow smoothness taking into account the price point for 125mls its definitly worth a try but dont reject it straight away for the top notes give it time to settle

A modern classic. So, a classic fragrance that I believe it must have been smelled amazing to smell this for the first time at that time this was released, yet still amazing to smell this current time 30 years later?? Very fresh, zesty, minty, uplifting, and a sprinlkle of retro touch. A retro that brings good vibe, good feeling, good memories even if it's the first time you smell this. What makes it still relevant is that it has this sweet bubble gummy-ish, YET not like that sweet bubble gummy we all know from that Invictus Aqua dna. Great performance, and great price too. 125 ml, not to mention? Come on.. it's a clear winner for me.

To my nose this is mainly a strong top of yuzu and fresh mint, followed by geranium and cinnamon which transition to creamy vanilla and sandalwood. The citrus' facets carry thru all the way to the drydown, that is 4-6hs on skin, which is ok. There's a lactonic modern and sweet accord that's keeping it from being an old school fougere. The projection remains at arm's reach. I paid 17€ for the 125ml presentation and that's happy accidents. Great to refresh yourself after workout or a day outdoors and as a morning office scent.

If the 90's could smell it would be the official scent of it. This is absolutely lovely! Makes me feel happy and it puts a smile on me whenever I wear it. It won't be everyone's cup of tea but it works great on me. Strong and quite unique type of citrus blast all the way with sweet vanilla and some flowers. Sample it before you buy it! Ps: I love the bottle design, I think it's brilliant. The cap somehow reminds me the stormtroopers's hat from Star Wars :-)

A potent and quite unusual citrus based perfume with some vanilla. It's really surprisingly nice with it's own character and I'm glad I got this. Longevity and sillage are both good. Tom below is right....the dry down is a dirty citrus, which is great. The bottle is lovely to hold and has a unique top which I like a lot. Try before you buy it though. I Love Twice - it's very distinctive.

The first sniff of this masterpiece took me back to the 90's when i was a little boy. I love it, absolutely love it! It is fresh, and creamy, the yuzu with some menthol is amazing! Meanwhile it is still a great fougere scent! One of the best spring and summer frag imo! A true classic! You can wear it casual, or formal, for garden parties!

Bought this when it came out still wearing it even though I've around 300+ other fragrances, big citrus blast to open with some carnation ,geranium drying down to vanilla and sandalwood, I love it , lots of warm fuzzy memories attached to this and it just makes me happy , this is one of my favourites hope you can all find yours

Iceberg Twice is a very nice men fragrance - strong and sexy. This is a long-lasting Cologne and it can make you feel different. Just try it. Top class winter/autumn Cologne. It's not too suitable for hot days.

@Kuquii1974 are you sure you are reviewing the right frag? I disagree completely, its a manly, woody, citrusy with a hint of mint? i think you reviewed the wrong one.

This fragrance is amazing!.....Long lasting for an edt...10 hours for me....Love the yuzu note here very fresh.A fantastic fougere barbershop style.

Far too sharp on the opening for my tastes but a gorgeous dry down. My boyfriend has this and it makes me go a tad feral hehehehe

*Update* I am buying more of this beauty. One of a kind citrus/vanilla. One of THE nicest cheapies on the planet. Gorgeous.

At this price is one of the best. Wear it on winter.

Just purchased this as it was on offer at just over £16 a bottle, to be honest I wasn’t expecting much at that price, but this is a banger! I did check the reviews here at Fragantica before hitting the buy button & the general consensus was that’s it’s an ok scent. I've bought a ton of scents raved about by reviewers on YouTube only to find most are very poor performers, this one performs brilliantly, it’s a little synthetic but has a nice powerhouse citrus note. I sprayed about 5 squirts on myself this morning before I went to work and I’m writing this review at after 6pm in the evening and I’m still surrounded by the smell, this is a stellar performer for sure! The next time I wear it I will only apply a couple of squirts and see if that’s enough to get me through the day, probably over applied it today in fairness but only because I’m so used to other scents having such mediocre projection and longevity, no such concerns with this one. There’s nothing I hate more than buying a scent that smells very weak from the start, when I wear I scent I want to be able to smell it throughout the day and I want others to smell it, otherwise what’s the point... This Iceberg Two does both of these well, and although some might find it overpowering it’s a bargain for what it does and I’m already thinking about stocking up on another bottle. I’m no expert at picking out notes, many comments I read accompanied by note breakdowns I just don’t get, for me all that matters is 1) it smells good 2) Projection is good 3) Longevity is good and this meets all three of these criteria for me. Quite a few people say it’s like a barbershop smell, but have to say I’ve never known a barbershop to smell this good, any lemony colognes I’ve had put on me at the Turkish barbers in the past don’t resemble this or even come close to it, so surprised to hear others making this claim. This won’t be for everyone, and some may find it way too powerful, but for my first day I think it’s Banging, hopefully I will continue to like it, the added bonus is it’s more than affordable, especially for such a generous 125ml sized bottle, bargain!

The bottle I am reviewing , like many others I have , is more than 15 years old. It is an almost full EDT . I was surprised to see it still sells and has a market. I started the week wearing Opium YSL for men. I figured let's keep with the barbershop vibe and wear iceberg twice today? they are strangely from same years of release as well. So very old school perfumery. Dad Uncle vibes here. An adult you knew wore something similar. There are no surprises here. Barbershop classic. Nostalgia driven type scent. I get a bounce drier sheet note if I huff it on my wrist. The awesome trick in this one is making a barbershop scent that doesn't clobber you with masculine woody booziness. I remember this being more portent way back. Although it hasn't changed in notes it has aged to a more subtle scent. It's a very nice blend. There's some work in this. I can't dismiss this as just being cheap. If you take the time to appreciate it , the blend is extremely well done. Don't get me wrong, It's not a number one choice in my case but when I wear it it's a nice change for me. It's a velvety green freshiethat has a spiciness (think aqua velva or old spice type aftershaviness) but it's never as sharp or cheap smelling as the afore mentioned players. It's not datenight stuff. It's a versatile everyday scent if you like to be 24/7 barbershop. Not recommended for the younger crowd but can be pulled off with the right body chemistry. I recommend as a cheapie in your collection (that's what it is in mine). I can wear this now but when I got it I was into very different stuff and coming from a long run of Dunhill Edition. That's my take on this. I hope it rings a bell with you.

Fragrance in three words: Powdery Peppered Yuzu Iceberg Twice initially reminded me of L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme (1994)with the Yuzu note. The Yuzu in this is nowhere near as strong as Issey Miyake's offering which in its first formulation had a distinct "cat piss" note, at least on my skin, which I loved, but many people hated. Twice is also distinctly different to the Sicilian Lemon notes found in many gent's fragrances. I was also reminded of Cerutti's 1881 (1990). They share some of the same notes, but 1881 is much more powdery and peppery. To me this is almost like an Aqua or Light version. Unfortunately the longevity of Iceberg Twice is below average turning into a skin scent after just 2 hours on a hot day. It is nice and easy going, if unimaginative. The price is also an absolute bargain at around £26 (UK RRP August 2020), but often heavily discounted to half that. For a little bit more money though there's the aforementioned 1881 and CK One (1994) which are both better, but I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would so it's a positive. The problem a lot of folks are having with this scent (if you read the reviews here) is it is not metrosexual friendly at all. This is a classic manly scent. No ambiguity here. No "unisex vibe". This is the smell of a clean, confident, slightly stubbly, whisky-throaty voiced, hairy-knuckled manly man whom you'd call if you needed some dry wall done or your engine fixed. Do I personally love it? Yes. But not everyone will. And also, even if you do like it, you gotta be able to pull this one off. This is soooo Malboro Man; and not everyone is into that. Like really, think cleaned up grease monkey. If you like sophisticated "complex" fragrances, stay away. This is more "powerhouse" than "complex". It's like a swollen bicep in a cool bottle. Sillage and longevity is CRAZY. A dab will do you. Oh, and this doesn't smell "cheap" (the Fume Snobs calling it that are being unfair). But it does smell yesteryear-ish (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). And the bottle is really cool.

When I spray this fragrance, I get something that's just incredible in the air and it's almost definitely that mint and lemon, and it only last for a whisper. It's superb and gives a slight muskiness to it, or maybe that's the funk from the cinnamon rising up from the middle? Unless you spray a lot, it does fade quite fast into this (rather nice) damp botanical accord that sort of reminds me of a tonic water, or a fancy gin cocktail. It'd be great for the warmer weather for sure! I've heard some people report that it's a little too medicinal, even going as far to say it's like cough syrup... lol. I will say this fragrance teeters maybe a bit audaciously towards being a disinfectant cleaner-esque smell but nothing I would call outright unpleasant. But to my nose it's a relatively tame and classy aromatic that definitely has that 90s vibe which is more suited to my taste for sure -- as opposed to the more dry, masculine, oakmossy and aldehydic smells from a decade prior.

When I sprayed this on my chest I immediately thought it was very nice. The citrus/mint in the topnotes were very uplifting. Once it began to drydown some, it began to remind me of another fragrance and as I kept getting wafts of it coming up from my chest I finally realized what it reminded me of so much... Mont Blanc Individuel (which I own) It is very very similar to the "dryer sheets" drydown of individuel. However this is not a bad thing. It smells very clean, crisp but without being sharp, and unoffending. This is one you could wear anytime, anyplace. Very office friendly. I actually prefer this over the Individuel because it is just a little bit softer overall yet definitly still masculine. Individuel is extremely potent in my experience with monster sillage/projection/longevity. This however, leaves you in a perfect little cloud of freshness and cleanliness that lasts and lasts. Pretty inexpensive as well.

I wanted to try Iceberg Twice Pour Homme, because I was looking for a long-lasting summer fragrance. The yuzu, mint, lemon, and lime sounded amazing. However, it opens up so strong and synthetic that I can barely stand it. Kind of reminds me of some bathroom cleaner (lame comparison, I know). For such a fresh fragrance, it is strange that the cinnamon pops out so much as well. The whole concoction reminds me of Montblanc Individuel, however that one I do actually enjoy, it feels more balanced. Iceberg lasts for about 6 hours on my skin with strong to moderate/soft projection after the first hour. I do suggest trying it out, but I find that it is not for everyone, definitely not for me.

A sweet lemony opening, with just a touch of mint. The lime in the base comes through almost right away and hangs on for the length of the fragrance. The heart has some very nice florals and the spices keep the whole thing masculine. The fragrance keeps the Lime throughout it's duration. Sillage is average, but apply sparingly as it may get cloying if too much is used. I use it after using the Iceberg Twice shower gel and 1 or 2 sprays is enough for all day. (In my opinion, it's nothing like Opium.) Daytime casual wear for me... winter, spring, early fall. In the colder weather the Florals are much more intense, and the Patchouli and Amber come through much better.

Citrus and classic pour homme fragrance. It is a light and great summer scent. Will not offend and is totally office safe. Average in performance and that is OKAY! Sometimes you just don't want a beast mode frag on because you might want to apply something else later on in the day. I cannot mention Twice without mentioning Ventana (Armaf). Twice and Ventana are a perfect match for layering. Alone or layered, Iceberg Twice is a good addition to your collection. Your nose will not be dissappointed and those around you will agree.

Smells very simillar to Del Pozo Quasar at first minutes. Brightly green, citrusy fruity yuzu. This is what you can think of fresh warm weather scent. Later becomes spicy, floral, oriental and darker. Has similarities with Joop! Homme, but lighter and much more versatile. Sweet, sugary (not that much!) slightly dry woody. Works everywhere, just don't overspray, it's strong, synthetic and not so subtle. Overall i like it, even more at evenings, bar, autumn, warmer winter.

I just got a tester of this on a blind-buy because the reviews were good. It is a POWERHOUSE. OMG this juice is strong. It starts out smelling like double mint gum with some lemon furniture polish mixed in but it is great when the opening blast calms down. It actually has a dark side in the dry down which I like. It is a classy juice. I don't think it is a good daytime scent. Might be a wee bit too strong for work. A really good fragrance for a night on the town.

Cheaper than the cost of two coffees and cakes, so in terms of affordability, this stuff is on point, the fragrance itself, perhaps a little dated now, but still has its place. A very clean and herbal mix, a classic barbershop fragrance. I like it, and particularly enjoy the citrus notes. It performs better than many fragrances I own, including several of the big houses. My biggest gripe, the cheap and nasty packaging, but for the price, what would you expect.

It's citrusy with a bit of woodiness and faint spices in the background. If you are deep into the fragrance rabbit hole, I don't believe that you will be in love with this one because you may feel that it's dated or that it overlaps with other fragrances in your collection. It's a great blind buy gift for your dad or for your teen cousin. It's a fresh and clean men's fragrance for all ages with average performance and an affordable price.

I have bought this over around ten times. For family members and for myself 3 times. It's a very hard to describe scent as it is very sweet and tons of citruses with some florals. Given that, it is not a macho scent but rather unisex IMO but can be cloying after some time. Easily could be a someone's signature as it is great for all year wear.

@koceFF : N.O. !! ;o) it's a (rather dated mediocre) colder weather fragrance IMO...if you want a 30 celsius plus cheap frag, i would rather go to Giorgio Beverly Hills Wings for Men, Molinard III or Jaguar Performance (even when you sweat like a pig, these will give you a fresh vibe):o)

A strong blast of citrus to start with. For me it dries down to some kind of "dirty, sweet" citrus. Its difficult to describe, but its very pleasant and surprising long lasting. It was a blind buy, and I didnt really like at first, but it has grown on me, and enjoy it more and more

This is suitable for daytime freshness, which lasts allday. Heavy citrus/vetiver/geranium. This isnt subtle or very natural smelling, infact its a tad industrial cleaner. But its cheap and I use this after the gym or on really hot days. Pleasant but nothing special.

used to love this one when i was a kid but now it smells quite cloying and ‘synthetic’ despite the notes sounding fresh. definitely think this one would suit the cold weather better so i’ll keep it around and try it again then.

Its good.. not bad.. but not perfect.. Match for easy a day time, hang around.. coz its fresh and last powdery.. good longevity.. Try it first, before buy.. but its okay if u blind buy.. coz it price good :D

This is a classic for a reason! Twice Pour Homme has that fresh, clean scent I love. It's perfect for everyday wear - not too overpowering but still noticeable. Gets me compliments all the time!

For me (drydown), a vanilla sandalwood flanker Versace L'homme, 1984 and in the same family with Jaguar for men, green bottle. Very good performance and value for this price.

It’s a fresh, aromatic, citrusy, traditional masculine fragrance. A cheapie, too. I bought it because of the lavender notes. Overall, it’s good, but a bit outdated.

The more I spray this, the more chest hair I grow! If testosterone was a guy, he'd be wearing this. Not for the faint-hearted.

Somewhere between Issey Miyake L'eau D'Issey and Cerruti 1881. Has nice uplifting vibes as well as a bit classic vibe.

It reminds me of 1881 Cerruti for Men, which is much greener, while Iceberg is the more airy version. The barbershop notes are present but deep in the background, which keeps it from seeming outdated. An excellent choice for summer.

OK! This is it guys hahaha! Today I've accumulated all my courage that i have and even more and after lots and lots fights with myself i tried and applied this "perfume" on me, and regretted a lot! I've asked everyone to tell me a real opinion about this sh!t, and everyone agreed that it's sh!t. Two girls told me that i smell like 108 year old grand-grandfather, and the scent is ok but like shaving cream which belongs to a very old man... There wasn't one man that really liked this scent! It smells like dead people, tragedy, pain, miserability, sorrow and lot more negative things! NEVER NEVER again on my skin... also it stings! It is the worst! I don't dislike it... i hate it with all my heart and soul! It is perfect for self defense spray! You put some sprays on yourself and for 10+ hours noone will attack you... you will be in absolute safe!!! It's price cannot justify that smell!

I had heard of this being a good alternative to the typical genres of summer scents. The opening is kind of a strange springtime floral, with a bit of mint and honey. For a while there's a little natural dustiness, and it almost reminds me of chamomile tea, but then powderiness creeps in. It has some of the brisk alpine meadow aspect of Geir, and even though it isn't as sweet or fruity, it's either too synthetic or has a trace of plant decay that I don't like. Maybe Himalaya or Paco XS are better comparisons. Later on, there's a slightest hint of cherry, though not enough to bother me, but then also a certain waxiness which seems strangely inconsistent with the top notes. I feel like it doesn't know what it's trying to accomplish, and consequently I have a hard time placing it into a role on the scent spectrum of my collection. You might just be better off with XS.

Like a lot of people say, this is strong stuff. So strong u can't almost wash it off. The spray on my cloth lasted for days until I washed it. Its strong in an unplasant way, and the scent is absolutely nothing I like. It was a blind buy for me, because I like Iceberg Burning Ice that much (!) I thought this had tl be good as well. Sadly it was not. I gave it away and still dislike the scent on the person I gave it to. So smart move for the next guy to give this away to people you don't see too often. Oja, smell's really old fashioned, this frag proved again I don't like scents from the past (like Versace Homme). Try to avoid this one (there is a reason why this is always on sale...)

If you are in the mood for something strong that will wake you up (think double espresso) then this fragrance is for you!! This is another fragrance I just got from my sweetheart and I really enjoy it. This fragrance is really powerful so you might want to go easy on the trigger there guys! It has a cool minty (light) lime and cinnamon vibe going on but I am guessing it is one or two of the florals that makes this fragrance smack you in the face. Longevity and silage are not an issue this with fragrance.. I can still smell it almost 12 hours later and I am pretty sure the aroma woke up my neighbor when applying it. Over all I would say this about a 7 / 10.

Hey, There is no yuzu in this fragrance whatsoever. Yuzu means notes of grapefruit and mandarin. This has none of it. The mint is over macerated and unpleasant. I am not a perfume connoisseur whatsoever but i have been working in top restaurants all my life and love flavors. Expensive dont always mean good and cheap dont mean bad by any mean. well rounded is what you want to go for when seeking out less expensive fragrances and this is not it. I hope it helps. Edit: sudachi might be what you experience over yuzu (limey and pepery notes) Second edit: everything is a lot more coherent after 2 and a half hours. dry woody and finally pleasing to the nose.
