Cut-Continuum

The florist is closed—permanently, and the flowers and plants have been left to fend for themselves. A sweet somber in vegetal tints, distantly green and fallow, the lack of outlines makes this so beautiful. The interior sprinklers go off inside, and the florist’s denizens are given a new lease on life, dampened and nourished just as all petals were about to bruise and brown. The flowers I smell? The gardenias are closest to me. Some lilies of the valley and jasmine are not far behind. Perhaps some hyacinths, and even some gillyflowers. Is that baby's breath? I think I am detecting Stereolab's "Flower Called Nowhere." Flowers left in obscurity, weightless on my skin, yet present for as long as my nose finds the information important to register.

This fragrance evokes the scent of spring rain the moment you step into a garden to cut fresh blooms for an arrangement. You catch the green aroma of snapped stems mingling with air cleansed by rain. It feels fresh, pure, empty and clean. Paired with Andrea Maack Solstice, it’s absolutely stunning.

I love this— in the opening I find it soft, powdery, floral, maybe even the smallest touch lactonic. But then it evolves more and I start getting green stems, water sitting in flower vases, and a bit of melancholy. Adore it ❤️

Creamy, musky, floral with a little hint of soap but not a clean scent. The floral note slowly builds as it dries, is it magnolia? It's very pleasant, I'm not a floral girl normally but this is the scent from the sample pack I see myself wearing the most.

It achieved what it wanted to achieve. It’s vaguely floral, smells distant, soft.. it has the flower shop smell, yes fresh, but not too wet or crisp , just a touch. Very pretty, very wearable, endearing.
