Pistachio Voodoo Child

People from the reminds me of section are obviously smoking something. I think this fragrance is absolutely beautiful and original. The pistachio note is subtle, the florals and the praline take over during the middle phase, only to make it a woody nutty fragrance in the dry down part, not a sticky gourmand. It’s NOTHING like Kayali’s Yum Pistachio. Excuse me, but this is a more elegant and elevated type of fragrance. Feminine leaning imo. Groundbreaking! Great longevity. I’m in love 😍

To truly appreciate this scent, you have to first drop the preconception that this is your run of the mill pistachio that is pumped out every other week. This is a luxurious, powdery floral, that utilizes the warm aspects of the pistachio to ground the scent and create an element of coziness. This feels sophisticated, grown but still modern. This could easily belong in the Chanel private line

This fragrance lives in my dreams !!! I got a sample and it’s a must have. It’s floral and very lightly sweet! Just like a like with a slight warmness due to the pistachio!

Hm. I like this but dislike the name. To me, this is “praline voodoo child” I can appreciate subtlety but for me, subtlety is non existent! I really don’t get any pistachio and I don’t see why naming this perfume after it when it’s barely there makes sense?! However, it’s a very nice perfume - powdery white floral at the start and the praline & vanilla gets more pronounced by the hour. Leans slightly sweet but remains powdery without being heavy. Daytime only imo. I have been enjoying wearing this to work lately. Average for projection (which means weak on me but that’s okay for work!) and good longevity. It falls in line with lots of cozy scents I’ve been really into at the moment - kind of a cool girl, unique version of a skin scent. I’d like to explore more from this brand! EDIT: I let this brew and now it is way sweeter and stronger, still lovely but just a note! my mum adores this.

Just had my travel size arrived from Pafory after wanting to smell this for ages. First sniff and it immediately reminds me of JPG Divine, which also has a lily note, and meringue instead of praline. There is an initial puff of nutty sweet pistachio marzipan, but then the musky floral lily comes out and that is what I predominantly smell now after 5 minutes. This feels woodier and fuller than Divine with less saltiness but it's airy floral sweetness is very similar, perhaps this will be a more wintery version for me. I will update after a proper wear, this is just a first impression.
