Palm Beach

Lovely, but not terribly original or groundbreaking. I don’t get the name or what this has to do with Palm Beach, tho. Edit: This is a holy grail neroli/orange blossom, one of, if not the best executions of this profile. It’s simple, but not boring and the supporting notes are only there to serve and elevate the star ingredients. Incredible longevity for an ob/n fragrance (6 hours on a base of monoi oil) and a gorgeous sillage. So glad I stuck with this as it is a true gem. The name comes from places where Figueras played important polo matches and his scent memories.

Been on the lookout for the best neroli fragrance out there. Scent wise, I think this ones my favourite so far. However the performance is not great. Its a skin scent almost immediately.

It's a beautiful scent, I smell mostly neroli and bergamot. It's a neroli like the one in Commodity Nectar, musky and tart, very fresh and unisex - but more soapy than that one. I also do smell the sage as an herbal touch, and lots of ambroxan. Palm Beach does not last very long, though. Super realistic smelling and citrusy, but within 3-4 hours is pretty much gone, super faint on the skin.

lovely neroli fragrance. I JUST reviewed another fragrance and called it the smell of Palm Beach (it's more aquatic), but I suppose this smells like Palm Beach as well (less of the beach itself, more of The Breakers).

I blind bought this before Thanksgiving based on a single review I found on line (reviews of anything Ignacio Figueras are surprisingly scarce) that stated this was a grassy and sage scent supported by neroli and orange blossom. After repeated wearings, I can say that this is not the case. I don't get any top or base notes, bergamot, sage or mandarin at the top nor cedar at the base. Rather this is a straight forward neroli and orange blossom scent without much else. The orange blossom is powdery, reminding me of JPG Fleur Du Male more than anything else. There is nothing juicy or orange fruit-wise here which is disappointing as it would have added freshness and some zing to this otherwise white floral fragrance. I suppose there is much to like here if you're a fan of orange blossom but on me, this leans so far feminine that I have a hard time imaging a guy being able to pull it off (then again, my skin has always amplified white florals). If you like Jo Malone's Orange Blossom then this one might scratch the itch for a more long lasting version; if you like the notes in Fleur Du Male but hate the intensity then you too might find much to like here as well as this is more or less the same with a decreased intensity.
