Incubus

I have had a dab on sample of this for years from I have no idea but have used it up. 1st thing is the perfumer looks like Ving Rhames the voice behind the Arby's commercials. Secondly I have never heard of this house but this is very crafty and artsy. Balsamic sweet and resinous. It puts you in the mind of something PDM would do. Great long lasting scent but no marketing behind it whatsoever.

I've been trying this out for the last couple weeks and yet have been able to grasp the aroma to break it down easily. It starts off a bit spiced and peppery but alas there isn't pepper listed. Just cloves. It's like the clove in musc ravageur amplified. This top note is strong and in your face and not forgiving. But shortly thereafter the fragrance settles into a nice creamy ever so pleasant scent reminiscent of a spiced latte. Not overly sweet nor spicy. It hits it's goldilocks effect... Just right The transition from top to mid/base is within 20mins or so and you are left with hours of that aroma i mentioned. As it softly dwindled away after about 8+ hours. For me the scent reminds me of a mid winters night during halloween when pumpkin spice is abound and the air is crisp. As you sit outside sipping that latte. Packs an initial punch and rest on a creamy cloud of aromatic happiness after the dry down kicks in. ** it does lean a bit more masculine in the initial application. But i think a female can easily pull this off. Hats off to you vincent for bringing the community another creative concoction from the cauldron at the house of ikiryo.
