Smooth. This fragrance is cooling and very well balanced. I have so far given them all a cursory try, but I keep going back for the 914 as it sits so well on my skin. I think I gave the comparison to MFK Baccarat Rouge because of how effortlessly the notes are blended. The top notes do not dominate in the opening and the whole composition seems to swirl like fumes from the bottle due to the overall powdery drydown. A sweeter Floral fragrance overall, it is kept from being overly feminine by the touch of spices and the oud note is a natural oud, soft and warm rather than aggressive and dry. I keep visualizing it as light and creamy to the nose, but it has substance and presence. Although the notes don't list it, it reminds me of all my favourite damascone-heavy fragrances with that fruity, rich, full bodied quality. Longevity on me 6-7 hrs. Of all six offerings, this is my number one.

BR540 clone - decent and with a slight twist. I got a sample of this through a fragrance shop mixing up my order but thought I'd try it out rather than just sending it back. I immediately recognised it from somewhere, it's clearly going for the BR540 scent profile. It has the artificial sweet burnt sugar/cotton candy smell that BR540 is known for, and unlike cheaper clones it doesn't come across harsh at all, it's actually a really solid comparison to BR540. It's different in that you can actually pick up some oud and it comes through with a decent amount of body. It's a very easy & soft oud though, not at all dark and overpowering like what most oud fragrances are known for. I think the oud addition works well and I was pleasantly surpised with this fragrance, a happy accident. The projection and performance I found was quite poor though, definitely stays close to the skin and doesn't cut through the air much.

Thankfully the bergamot is not cloying/too noticeable but that's just my preference, well blended overall but damn does any and all sillage of this FADE SO QUICKLY within like 1 minute on me. If I overspray it I can enjoy it for a good few hours longevity as an everyday my-skin-but-better thing almost, but still no sillage beyond an inch. Almost a creamy but in a more wooden than sweet way. Got talked into the 25ml, won't buy bigger.

I tested 914 twice in the shop. Each time I could smell the citrus and then it changed into sweet amber. It disapeared quickly each time but I thought it was because the shop assisstant sprayed just a tiny bit on my skin. I really liked it and as I’m on the hunt for sweet and amber perfume I went back and bought it. I was so excited and sprayed it on my skin as soon as I got back home. I was shocked when the smell turned out to be completely different. To me it is unpleasant and smells like hospital wound disinfectant (iodine) on my skin and clothes. I think it’s the tagetes that give this smell. I really wanted to like it but unfortunately it’s not for me. I think it is more male fragrance and perhaps on men it could work. However, my husband tried it and couldn’t stand it. He could actually smell it for quite few hours so it seems to last a while, at least on some people. If anyone wants to buy it or swap I’m happy to get rid of this. I’m in UK.
