Ambre d Or

This is, to me, the best sweet powdery amber I've ever experienced. It is intoxicating and addictive.I am going through my bottle a lot faster than I anticipated. This is gourmand level sweet. I get the honey and even though it's not listed I get almond. It's beautifully powdery . There is a similarity on my skin to PHI Une Rose de Kandahar if you remove the rose and replace it with amber. It is very stunning! The longevity and sillage are outstanding.Definitely in my top ten list!

Wow, how georgeous this is.. Smoky sweet tobacco with baby powder, sweetness is optimal due to pure amber..sillage is soooo goood and longevity is like 12 hours..Always draws compliments, it is quite unique, preferably should be used in fall/winter. İl profvmo is an extraordinary perfume house with high quality products. Each and every perfume is A treasure..Ambre d'Or and Vanilla bourbon are my favourites..

Rich smooth warming amber with dark type of sweetness (more like honey one) and jammy tobacco (shisha type). It’s a gorgeous balsamic perfume. Perfect for winter! Somewhat similar to Ambre 114 Histoires de Parfums, but without annoying geranium note. Follow me on IG: scent.guide

It's 11:30 P.M. mid-January, wind sound through the windows, there is a french lady wearing this perfume post warm bath in classic bathtub of The Ritz London just before going to the bed. That's what I imagined with this fragrance 😅

The first brief moments are beautiful, feather-like and delicate somehow, but as the fragrance warms up on the skin, it soon becomes quite sweet, almost edible and powerful and yes - I agree - flowery too. There is a bit of sharp, powdery "cleanliness" developing there gradually and I am not sure just yet whether it will remain enjoyable (I like powder and I like clean) or whether it will turn into "irritating kind of clean" in large doses and/or over the time (I fear that this fragrance has the potential of being somewhere on the border between tantalizing and irritating). Saying that...I do enjoy it so far, but I have only used a tiny amount from the sample...I would say that this could be good in a really cold weather. Will have to try that! By the way "glamorous" is a good description, Fragrantica. Update: I did sleep with this aroma whiffing from my wrists and my neck and falling asleep, I was thinking - "I must remember to mention that this is beautiful". So here goes - in small doses it does not turn irritating, instead it remains tantalizing all the way! :-)
