Osmo Scents Cannabis

Maybe naming this fragrance Cannabis is not right, because when people hear cannabis, they would expecting marijuana scent, and since the price of this perfume is steep, it is no wonder that people feel cheated.... That being said, for me this perfume is a love, but instead of cannabis, I think thr most prominent note is tobacco leaf, and flower notes (which I suspect heliotrope, because it's powdery). The cannabis is there alright, but instead of the main singer, it stands at the shadow as background vocal. The silage is above moderate for about 3 hours and then turns into skin scent for another 5 hours or so, which means the longevity is actually quite good.

Un po come lamentarsi che dentro al Poison non ci sia del veleno o dentro Opium non ci sia l'oppio etc etc. Forse non sanno che i profumi e i loro nomi sono solo evocazioni di sensazioni e di cose, e Cannabis è una ricostruzione di una sensazione di sogno e di piacere momentaneo come quello che offre la cannabis. Può piacere come no, ma cercate di sentire un profumo e di vedere che tipo di sensazioni vi crea, invece che scannerizzare il boquet alla ricerca di tuberosa, di fiori ben distinti o roba del genere, Anche perchè di solito dentro non c'è niente di quello che viene elencato nelle note. Le fragranze sono ricostruizioni ottentute con varie cobinazioni di elementi. Mi sembrava che questi concetti fossero alla base di un sedicente esperto di profumi che commenta in un sito. Questo cannabis è un profumo piuttosto dolce e tropicale, ci sento anche una noce di cocco densa e vaniglia,non è un profumo pretenzioso ma una fragranza piuttosto duttile che si adatta bene a varie situazioni.

The notes main accords listed is correct. Mostly it is floral notes. I don't know what flowers it is, but it is definitly very soapy. The cannabis is only somewhere behind blended with the amber. It's really worth trying. It's a great experience. Opens up quite fresh and sweet (my GF catches a cherry note on the opening, i didn't). It then gets softer and then nearly linear. Worth trying but not worth buying. Scent: 7/10 Uniqueness:10/10 Sillage: 3/10 Longevity: 8/10

An interesting scent in my opinion. I guess I wouldn't wear it, but I find it interesting that it exists. It's mostly green and herbal, mildly sweet and quite spicy. As it is unisex, it's not that feminine. I would only spray feminine perfumes on myself, so that's out of the question for me, but it's unique in it's own way anyway. I need to try other fragrances from that line.

I DO smell the cannabis-ish note in this, a sweet hazey presence that definitely smells like dried buds. But this is a very very discrete perfume and I have to really press my nose against my wrist to smellit at all after 30 minutes. A nice scent but oh so weak in longevity and oh so disturbingly close to the skin, sillage-wise.

Very nice fragrance with with Floral and Ambar notes, just it. Cannabis?? Where?? The only Cannabis here is the name but even so worth trying.

I’m getting a sweet, flavored cigarette scent, on the synthetic gross side and with zero green bud. Borderline nauseous. Dry down is powdery and musky, and thankfully, is short on silage and performance. This smells like a cheap date. I don’t like it but I don’t hate it either.

This is one of those perfumes that are hard to layer, unless you have Oud perfume oil. It does smell like cannabis, which often smells like BO to me...

Creamy fragrance, sweet, more fruity than floral, nothing sensual or even dark, predictable, reminds me of the smell of some shampoos, something not very pleasant in a perfume, as it smells cheap, simple and excessively synthetic. On the other hand, where is the smell of cannabis ??? They have not even known how to imitate it. In short, a fudge in every rule, with teasing included for the high price. Rating: 1

I'm looking for a cannabis fragrance to try and replicate a candle I have by Archipelago Botanicals that is scented with black cannabis, amber, and rose. I'm thinking that layering a cannabis fragrance with Stella by Stella McCartney would do the trick. Cannabis by Il Profuvmo, however, is not that cannabis fragrance. It doesn't smell like weed at all. Sort of a stale potpourri smell. The search continues.

Cannabis is a tricky one. During my first tests I was auto-suggested by the name and I felt some kind of cannabis resin in there. But after a few tests I realized that there is a huge pine note inside which overwhelms the rest of ingredients. So now what I feel is a slighly green, slightly sweet and - before all - coniferous-resinous scent. Subtle and quite longlasting, good for layering with other scents from Osmo line.

I expected boring mainstream cannabis. But I got quite a pleasure sensing it. It's a balsamic sweet scent with floral impact. Not heavy. It reminded me of childhood vacations when we stayed in a 5-star hotel and there was a turkish steam sauna - they had exactly the same sweet, herbal, floral smell! Well balanced and pleasing scent, but not the one if you're looking for an outstanding and strong cannabis note.

Pretty sure they came up with this name after smoking a fair amount of jonko 😀 The name Cannabis has absolutely nothing to do with what I’m smelling 🙃
