Osmo Scents Mandarine

This one falls into the "I bought this when I lived in HK during summer hols somewhere in Europe", and I canNOT, for the life of me remember WHEN (2014? 2016? 2017? 2018?) or WHERE (Amsterdam? Germany? Copenhagen?), and it has unfortunately fallen down the ladder or priority and circulation/usage. This is a photorealistic mandarin/clementine/mikan -- UNCANNY in its reproduction, down to the seeds I sometimes eat, the slight stem remnants and even the smell of the peeled peel. It covers ALL bases of the entire peeling and eating a mandarin experience, and it is AMAZINGLY pleasant to catch the occasional waft of the heavenly scent, but therein lies the issue -- it is SOOO fleeting an experience, and SOOO rare that re-application is a necessity and I find myself usually forgetting that I have anything on. I literally need to push my nose up into my wrist to even get a trace of the scent -- it projects less than 10 cms, I feel. As a scent, this is 10/10 NO QUESTIONS, but the longevity is a 4/10 and the sillage is a 2/10, but I'm still happy I bought this and have it. Even the 20 - 30 mins I can smell it when I put it on makes it worth the purchase. A frustrating purchase, but one that I'm glad I made...

Nice and fresh mandarine. To me it smells quite real. Like a fresh peeled mandarine. Nice for summer days.

Mandarine juice, nothing more than this.

To me, this smells exactly like Smarties. Sweet, chalky, artificially-flavored orange candy.

Well, this may be synthetic but it smells real. The mandarin is perfect, with all the zing and tartness. The opening is like the pulp of the fruit, really juicy. I really like citrus scents, and as in most cases the citrus notes are weak and fleeting with very short lasting power and they need to be reassured with other notes (woods, green, flowers, musk). And this is another case. While the top notes are wonderful, when the wood and heliotrope appears, the whole composition switch to a more mature scent, it's an odd mix. The mandarin and citrus are still perceptible but the wood becomes more prominent. I only wish the dry down was more sophisticated.

Pure, sweet, mandarines. Nothing else. Even less interesting than Mandarine Basilic from Allegoria line, which by comparison, looks complex! So, try a one note scent if you wish. I love this, as it smells fresh and juicy, delicious and sexy in an innocent way. I can see why many people wouldn't even call this "perfume". But in the end, it does the job... it makes your skin smells wonderful, so it is perfume. A successful representation of mandarines and the maximum point of their ripeness, just before they turn bad. Juice, freshy white part, and peel of course. I like it so much, I want to try the entire Il Profvmo line, especially the Osmo scents.

Mandarine is a very special fragrance although it seems to be very simple. it has an authentic Mandarine-Accord, that gives you a feeling of sunshine in your face. although the Mandarin smell is intense, it is not a strong or heavy perfume. Because of Osmo-technology it is very balanced on your skin and stays until 24hours. if you move and your body warms up you will smell it stronger. its also nice to mix it with Osmo Vanillia or Chocolate!! i really love it and got a lot of compliments. its perfect for summer and winter.

This is called mandarine...and...well...at first it smells just like that: a juicy, freshly peeled, bright mandarin. Later on it smells - well - still just like a mandarin. It is very realistic fruit, juicy, fresh and refreshing, it is sunshiny, vitamin-ey and optimistic, but it is only a mandarin. Waaaaay too straightforwardly fruity. :-(. For me it would need some grounding elements: wood, resins or amber or greens even... I might try to layer it with something. :-)

A very alive and original mandarine perfume!The flesh of mandarine in a bottle. Uplifting,energizing,invigorating!It's perfect when you are having the blues,it justs lifts your mind and spirit!Squeeze mandarines all over you!!!A really concentrated mandarine scent. Very good lasting power considering it's a citrus scent.

I have a 2015 bottle. Absolutely photorealistic clementine! From beginning to end. But the end comes too soon. Unfortunately, citrus perfumes fly away too quickly like butterflies. Have to reapply often! 😞 Longevity wise it feels like a EDC.

I only get mandarine from this one. To me it smells more like something mandarine-flavoured, not genuine mandarine. Can't really say if it's natural or artificial ... Great sillage and staying power. For me it would be unwearable alone.

This fragrance opens with a strange weedy accord- after this puzzling opening, it segues into a fresh,tart citrus with better than average staying power, as compared to many other niche scents in this genre.

This one is the only thing that I loved from the II Profvmo line it smells like the natural Mandarine good if you want for layerin

All I can smell is orange pez candy. It has an effervescent quality but really leaning towards synthetic.
