Vanille Bourbon

Smells absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. Best to start out with a few sprays on the same spot because it only lasts about two hours. The vanilla is beautiful and the star of the show, but it shares the spotlight with rosewood, cedarwood, and tiare. Bourbon vanilla has its own powdery subtle scent, and this is the best it's done.

Powdery vanilla is the best way I can describe this scent, and I'm in LOVE. I've started on my vanilla journey and several of the others I've tried are very strong, this isn't and its one of the reasons I love it. It's a more intimate vanilla, like I am only wearing it for me.

Vanilla pod is one of the main notes (I checked on their website) and it's missing here ;)

Just realized Kenra's platinum luxe one leave in conditioner smells almost spot on like this perfume and I am 100% here for it 😍 so if you're ever curious what this smells like, you can smell that hair product at Ulta in the US. Anyways this is a very interesting scent and has a cool/freshness to it. Pretty sure the middle notes + vanilla are the most dominant as I don't smell the top or base note.

This was a love at first spray! It smelled like pineapple to me (must be the mix of cedar needles and vanilla). It was the perfect vanilla with a hint of fresh green. BUT...the freshness faded a bit. The funny thing was, I went to wash it off, and afterwards the scent smelled fresh again! This has finesse.

This smells very dusty to me, not powdery. And as Bubbles1964 said ~ this is goes to nothing burger fast. It smells like an old, dusty letter that had been scented with a perfume that you vaguely think might have had vanilla in it. It even makes me almost see dust motes wafting in the air from disturbing the letter. Kinda melancholy now that I think about it. I bought two samples from Luckyscent based on their stellar description, but I think they lied, lol. A hard pass.

A pass for me since it only lasted an hour! Smell ok, nothing to excited. Smells like a simple vanilla fragrance with not much else going on. Rather disappointing. The dry down is very soft vanilla with a hint of wood. If you enjoy a skin scent this may be worth a try... but sample first

It’s funny how differently fragrance can smell on various people. On me, this is photorealistic high quality vanilla bean ice cream. There might be a slight powdery note. It also lasted longer than I wanted.

I love vanilla, a guilty pleasure I’m often embarrassed to admit when I’m around fragheads. But it’s a bad sign—when 20 minutes after application—I can’t remember what I put on, and I’m not experiencing dementia....yet. I had to press my nose hard against my wrist to smell anything, and then at best, Vanille Bourbon is a very light vanilla-tinged nothing burger. Underwhelmed.

Inoffensive watery vanilla and rosewood soapy skin scent. It’s meek but not in a way that’s enticing, kind of boring. Not for me.

This smells really stale. Like vanilla + asphalt. Pass.

If you prefer dark vanillas like Babycat instead of white fluffy vanillas, but want a light alternative to wear every day or for the office... this is for you. It’s like an Eau de Toilette versión of a dark boozy vanilla or like a soapy clean diluted version of a dark vanilla. Even though it’s light, it still sticks with you all day long. I really didn’t get much floral, which is a good thing for me. I liked it a lot.

Very nice scent. Natural smelling vanilla with a bit of heliotrope. Mildly sweet, soft and airy. Unfortunately it doesn't project well and becomes just a skin scent in the first 10 minutes. It doesn't last long either. I like it very much but wish it had more projection and staying power.
