Moroccan Tuberose

Seriously,,I don’t know what the others are smelling, I don’t understand the negative reviews . This is absolutely gorgeous , quite possibly the closest to the real flower smell I have sensed . If Carnal Flower ( F. Malle ) and Tubereuse Criminelle ( S. Lutens) had a baby, it would be this one, and it’s wrapped in golden Ylang. To compare it to a few other famous tuberoses, it is completely different than Fracas buttery style, and also different than the gorgeous Tuberose Gardenia from Estée Lauder which is fresh and slightly green , and very heavy compared to La Chasse aux Papillones from L’Artisan ... it isn’t Indolic like Olene from Diptique . The Illuminum is tropical , lush, fleshy , humid onctuous nectar , without any kind of clean soap notes . It is rich and satisfying and, despite being highly concentrated , very wearable. Pure love from me , I cannot get my nose off my wrist ! Of, and it’s definitely feminine, I cannot imagine any man wanting to smell like a luscious flower. Ps. I couldn’t resist and I got a FB. After wearing it a few times, I can see why some reviewers compare it to toothpaste. That is the camphor mentholated molecule that appears in SL Tuberose Criminelle too. Very typical to sme Tuberose species. But that dissipates quite fast, rest assured it isn’t the focus of this Tuberose.

Moroccan Tuberose should have named Moroccan Ylang Ylang because that's all I smell in it! Tuberose is almost not existent!On my skin Moroccan Tuberose is a heady, intense, pure ylang-ylang high quality essential oil. Bold, intense, sensual ylang-ylang of the best quality. Ingredients are of superb quality. So natural smelling. I don't detect any other note,just tropical , creamy ylang-ylang. Very good lasting power,it lingers all day,sillage is lovely. A very nice creation. For those who love ylang-ylang , do not miss it!

A toothpaste! The opening actually reminded me of Carnal Flower, but the difference is that Carnal Flower smooths out and gets really lovely, but MOROCCAN TUBEROSE just stays the same - full of menthol and plain weird and unpleasant. Given this, MOROCCAN TUBEROSE reminds me of that one person in the party who just keeps waltzing around not being able to shut his mouth, talking nonsense and his inner self is screaming - look at me, I'm so different and unique. And actually he is not, he is just plain annoying and rude. So - MOROCCAN TUBEROSE for me is unwearable, I can't get past the frown my face makes everytime I smell this on my wrist and I can't get past the fact that someone was obviously trying so hard to make this so unique that they turned out with simply nothing. Goog longevity and silage though. Too much as I disliked the scent. 2/10

He who dare wear this fragrance will suffer the ignominy of offending those in close proximity. Welcome to another episode of WHEN TUBEROSE ATTACKS!!! This fragrance is like the best looking girl in high school that partied too hard. Horrible stuff. Colgate Advance with Geranium. A flagrant fume so bad that I purposely looked for people to tell me different. It's not ironic that no one chose to post a review. I should of heeded the warning signs.

My friend just loves this one. It's a very oerfect tuberose blended with a base note of Cedarwood. Two incidents that usually clash together but in this juice they just work so well. Usually tuberose is kind of tied, but in this case they just let it go, like saying: here I am, right in your face. That's the beauty and the whole point of Moroccan tuberose by Illuminum. Also great longevity, smells bette after 15 min on the skin. 7/10
