Another random sample selection from a brand I know nothing about. Pretty much what I expected for a citrus but nicely surprised by a not too cloyingly sweet pineapple and pretty florals. Fresh and fruity. Smelled kind of like a yuzu version of Calyx or other Sophia Grojsman creation or maybe like original Tresor with the peach. Not sure if I moisturized well that day but this lasted allll day on me with medium sillage, which surprised me. Happy to keep this around for summer. Update: I really, really love this one. It can have a faint bug-spray note at the very top but it mellows down into an almost vanilla-like musk on me.

I've worn Illuminum Tahitian Yuzu a couple of times now, and find that it smells good--for what it is. This is a citrusy fruity floral with a kind of shininess characteristic of the twenty-first-century category of SSRI frag. Don't worry, be happy, is basically the outlook of this creation. Not very deep or complex or original, but made of good stuff and perfectly fine for a spritz of sunshine on a cloudy day. Pineapple is not my favorite perfume note, but here its sweetness is tempered by the citrus and the black currant.

A sweet yet light fruity/floral-musk with a tropical vibe provided by the pineapple. Youthful and generic. Another "no no no" from Illuminum. Want a tropical summery fragrance? Get Maitre Parfumeur Et Gantier's Bahiana. Rating: 4/10
