White Oud

i do love smokiness inside.. remind me interlude men amouage and attar tribute from the same house.. what a lovely beast scent.. enjoying in raining days in malaysia..

Bought this fragrance and found the opening smoky and dry. Very long silage but overall not for me. I wouldn't advise on blind buying, sample first.

This is just way too much. I get a whallop of musk and a very woody, smoky oud that completely overwhelms everything. absolutely not feminine in the slightest, this is masculine leaning towards full on bonfire. this is a very realistic and natural smelling interpretation of wood smoke, but that's what it basically smells like - wood smoke and lanoline. And I'm not talking about something fun and layered like Eben Fume or Venenmous Kiss, I'm talking about pure, one-dimensional wood smoke scent. I suppose if all you used was one tiny spray, you might smell pleasantly like the outdoors after a cold December day in the north country. Otherwise it's liquid smoke (the food additive) dumped on a wool sweater.

Doesn't last long on skin but it lingers on clothes for hours. It's not a pleasant experience, though. White Oud leaves a fusty, mouldy aroma, as if you kept your clothes in an old, slightly damp wardrobe in a smoker's house. It's a no from me.

This had got be one of the most intensely vetiver and oud combos I have ever come across. The intensity of the two mixed with cumin makes for a very interesting and ultimately unique experience. At times there is an almost industrial/machinery type of vibe coming from it which I find intriguing...it reminds of sweaty aircraft mechanics in the middle of an ultra dry desert! Fascinating! Given this, it most certainly isn't going to be a fragrance for everyone and it really strikes me as one that's a bit to specific for everyday wear. However, dry vetiver lovers, this might certainly pique your interest due simply to the intensity of the vetiver note. Frankly, it doesn't get much drier than this.

This is quite animalic the nasty one. Palmy & more of a coriander cumin mix, more of earthy. Smells like a dark humid cave with roots and slight of animal dirt. You won't feel any oud at first but when it calms down it give a haziness of an oud essence and never real oud. The calmer it goes the oudier it gets. i guess it's kind of & similar to "BeauFort" fragrances ideas. After all, i can't sense any quality i'm afraid, it's just another blend with "Oud" on it's label.

I get a blast of gasoline but with a super dark edge. Brough to mind Arabi Cana by Kolmaz. This is not for the faint of heart, it is very strong and not necessarily pleasant. For those brave enough to try it though, you are certain to not smell like anyone.
