Fox in the Flowerbed

I HAVE to rewrite my review for a couple of reasons. I need to give this fragrance a real, fair shot, and when I found out that my last bottle performed terribly because it had spent almost a month in transit in the mail in the dead of summer. Now after getting halfway through my second full bottle, I feel like I now can be truly fair, and I’m glad that those little vials kept the hope alive that my first, ultra heat exposed bottle failed to live up to, because this second bottle has me completely and utterly convinced that this is my signature fragrance. This is opens with a very strong, aldehydic floral burst. A lot of people describe it as a fake floral that is almost nauseating, or that the aldehydic is so strong that it just smells like laundry detergent. I actually kind of agree with this to an extent. The floral isn’t all that realistic in the sense that I can make out very specific florals like I have been able to with the Gucci Flora line. There’s a reason the bottle list's Jasmine and Tulips as the only two floral's, jasmine is the only floral I can truly make out and tulips are essentially fragrantless, so their being used in place for a fantasy floral that makes up the rest of the floral, similar to the alpine air which is the aldehydic. Speaking of the aldehydic, this is very very clean. It makes me feel like I just showered and put freshly laundered clothes, and I LOVE that. That honey note definitely is there to help cut down on that aldehyde, but I feel like it’s not always present or sometimes take lots of body heat and even sweat to bring that soft, subtle musky scent of the honey, and that’s saying something because I really don’t like the smell of actual honey. Lastly, this lasts decently. It lasts way better on skin than on clothing, around 3-5 hours on skin compared to the couple of hours it might last on skin. This is all considering you’re wearing it in warm weather, like I said, this loves body heat and heat in general. This basically gets murdered by the cold though, so summer/spring only for sure in that aspect. A beauty of sorts. It communicates what the name is, and as soon as I found out there was a fragrance Fox in the Flowerbed, as a florals lover, i was in. 100% pleased with what this delivers. Other florals are beautiful and realistic, but this accomplishes to make me feel like myself as a person, and whenever I wear this and someone tells me I smell good, it’s the best feeling in the whole world.

I have a sample of this from 3 years ago that's been kept in storage, and much prefer it to when it was freshly bought. This review is from sampling on neutral fabric over the course of 8 hours to let the notes unfurl: It seems to just be upon the initial spray that it has an iffy note, but that fades fairly quickly as the scent evens out. The result is a rounded, mellowed, vivid patch of flowers that seems to get fresher as it progresses. It's a truly immersive floral, it never gets sharp or bitter, it's sweet, creamy yet light, with a little powderiness underneath. I don't find it cloying. It's the kind of scent that I would find comfortable to be around if someone else was wearing it because it's uncomplicated, the silage is polite, and it gives friendly vibes. It's definitelty a positive atmosphere scent. It reminds me of someone with their heart on their sleeve who you can look up to. This one is for the fairy godmothers. For me it's evocative of having all the windows in the house flung wide open to let the fresh air stream in on a sunny spring day. Innocent yet instinctually wise, optimistic and playful in a light-hearted way. This scent is a fox in the flowerbed, for sure! update: 55 hours later, the scent on the fabric has barely faded, the silage is closer but i catch some wandering notes here and there; it's lighter and breezier in weight, and the fragrance has cooled down. Reminds me of a low key, demurely lit powder room. I haven't gotten tired of smelling it at all. As it develops it becomes softer and airier. 7.9/10

Bought a sample and very likely to buy a full bottle. I was wary, as although I like jasmine, it can smell so different depending on how it's done. Here, it is as fresh, "clean" and natural as it gets, I smell nothing indolic here AT ALL. I have a candle that smells similar, and have found it rare to find such a "simple" smelling jasmine, as so often it smells "perfumey" - here it smells like a waft of flowers on the breeze. As it dries down, I get some sweetness which I guess is the honey, but I must say that I don't get any of the other notes specifically. I don't tend to like incense/spicy frags so was also a little cautious of this aspect, but on my skin I don't notice any spice or resin either. The scent had pleasant sillage, I got wafts during my working day just as I'd forgotten about wearing it, but this wasn't particularly strong and has an overall softness and airy quality about the whole experience. It lasted 5-6 hours with about 5 sprays - if I bought a bottle I would usually spray more generously so I think I will be happy with those aspects. @Irena Victoria below mentions similarity to Alien Flora Futura which I would agree with in that both frags have a soft focus quality to them - definitely not powdery, but almost pastel in their rendering. Very pretty and delicious seemingly simple scent.

So happy. To me it smells like sweet peas, but that could be the tulip note since tulips don't grow down here in the Southern US. The opening is grassy but floral, like you ran a weedeater through a flowerbed. The honey and florals meld into a candy type smell, like jasmine flavored Pez would smell. It's the stuff dreams smell like, gossamer, fairy glitter, completely enchanting. It changes as you wear it, developing sometimes the floral candy note and other times the grassy smell. I am glad they left out the actual fox smell, a note I am familiar with, and stuck to the flower bed + honey accords. Just when you thought florals could not be utterly original...there's this. I haven't smelled anything else like this. Puts me in mind of the Yeats poem "The Lake Isle of Innisfree." It's that poem, put into a sprayer so you can wear it. After a few hours, the dry down reminds me of Tocade 2013 (Rochas). What starts as a whimsical aldehyde ends as a resinous floral vanilla, almost a floral chocolate smell. Where did THAT come from? I don't know, but it's great. 10/10

This is just so LOVELY. I ordered 5 trial sizes of perfumes from Imaginary Authors because their descriptions and fragrance notes were just so unique, and this was my favorite from the bunch. It’s light and sweet, but also modest and clean. Makes me think of drinking jasmine tea on a rainy street in San Francisco, or doing house chores in a cute apron with the windows open while my cat basks in the sunlight. Or petting a fox in a flower bed! Something cozy and innocent you wish you could attach a scent memory to. This made me realize I love jasmine in perfumes. On my skin it dries down very soapy, but there are certainly worse things to smell like! I’ve noticed spraying it on my clothes lets the jasmine shine through throughout the day. The first time I wore this I kept getting whiffs of myself and thinking “who smells so good??” all night (spoiler: it was me). If I continue to wear this like I have been I will spring for the full (adorable) bottle 🦊 🌸

I decided to sample Fox in the Flowerbed because I fell hard for the bottle, it is darling. I grew up in a rural area in PA and am very familiar w/ Foxes both the Red featured on the bottle and the Grey. Foxes are fun to watch hunt and raise their young. I love them dearly. This brand is quite whimsical and cute but none of the other stories spoke to me like this one. I am glad I sampled this perfume because it is just beautiful. Very realistic and true to nature. This smells like blooming trees in the spring, tulips and all garden florals combined. The Thistle note is very pretty and smells like a field of clover. The honey is there but it smells more like the sweetness of flowers and the sweetness of the perfumed air instead of actual honey. I can see anyone at any age who love realistic natural smelling florals loving and wearing this perfume. It is a breath of fresh air, brings a smile to your face and happiness to your heart. Full bottle worthy.

I love how subjective scent is, and after reading the reviews, I'm certainly glad I'm testing all of these for myself. I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS SCENT!!!! I was just beginning my journey into florals as I'm in my thirties now and my tastes are changing... This to my nose is a strong blast of sweet jasmine. I don't get honey per say, but I do get a very faint sweet smell of banana bubblegum. I typically smell that when there's tuberose, and although it's not listed, I smell it. Dry down is much softer, with more of the floral notes brightening up, but this stays a sweeter perfume, and I really really enjoy it. I'm 3 hours in and the sillage is still going strong. I say this house is worth investing in the whole discovery set. It's been so fun going through each of these stories and being transported somewhere. And these are all so unique. I stand by this one and will be grabbing a FB for the spring/summer coming up.

I think this is one of those perfumes that makes honey tolerable to my nose. It borders on that stickiness as camphor does for me, most of the time, but the white floral in this rescues it. It's quite addictive to breathe in slowly. It's medicinal but not in any negative way. More like... the scent of being healed, if that makes sense. Not Vick's VapoRub, but in that spirit of 'this is invigorating and soothing at the same time.' Of course, my knee-jerk reaction is to say springtime, dressed in light colors for an outdoor activity, but there is something dead of winter about this, too, and I imagine this would be refreshing in summer and autumn as a reprieve from the other sensations of the seasons. Just... yeah. It's a good fragrance, plain and simple. Really concerning when something this good gets bombed with low ratings.

really weird how there isnt one male vote. this is definitely unisex. good performance, to be honest great perfromance for what this scnet is. such a beautiful floral. alot of scents like this are dominant, bad performance, or could lead cloying or sickly especially with the honey note. not this. this is defintiwly one of the best florals i have smelled, and its because of the alpine air note. the air note literally airs this out so well man. the floral the honey the air, all beautiful notes, and beautifully blended. id be surprised if u didnt like this. and again u would expect this to be generic and linear, it really fucking isnt. absolute stand out, amazing perfume man. this is for me in the house, kind of what u want ur life to be.

Fox in the Flowerbed is quite an intriguing fragrance. This scent truly lives up to its promise of amplifying the beauty in everything with its beautiful airy floral notes. As it settles into the drydown, a soapy quality emerges, giving it a clean and elegant twist. It's a long-lasting fragrance, and its projection is undeniably strong. It's so powerful that it might be a bit overwhelming and potentially headache-inducing for some. While I genuinely like Fox in the Flowerbed, I find it has a similar vibe to Secret Gardenia by Miller Harris, which is more ozonic and less soapy. In my case, Secret Gardenia takes the crown. But if you're on the hunt for a versatile and potent floral fragrance, Fox in the Flowerbed is worth giving a try.

the first note of this is a garland of white flowers, strung about the neck or the head, redolent and all-encompassing. although overpowering at first, the lovely floral scent dries down to a crisp, fresh greenness, the green of tangy sour grass and cold sunlight streaming through willow leaves. i find myself really enchanted with it, these flowers all at once plucked + pungent, living + sharp-edged. in a way, everything i have wished from a floral scent. i recommend pairing this with early-morning hikes in the mountains + ice-cold water + tart apples

Living for this scent. I'm a huuuggeee fan of white florals/florals in general. Many have said this scent is soap-y and that's true; but, it's not an overly sweet/powdery scent in my opinion. The pink pepper and (I'm assuming) alpine air make this scent a little musky at the same time. Definitely delivers on the "fox in the flowerbed" vibe. Many people have said it's quite a feminine scent, and while I agree that it leans that way on me at least it reads more unisex than feminine. obsessed.

Animalic jasmine scent. A very photorealistic fragrance that reminds me of sniffing the jasmine blossoms around my childhood neighborhood. I find it to be a very comforting nostalgic scent, but in terms of wearability for me it leans too feminine for my liking and like others have said, it is a more mature scent. I really love the bottle design, and the fragrance is really great too for the right person. I'm tempted to purchase just for its aesthetic value...

She gets the job done. She's the strongest jasmine and tulip perfume I know. If she was a song, it would be "Love You" by Free Design. Does it smell like old ladies and baby powder? Yes. But does she smell good? Yes. Do I get complimented on it because it perfectly smells like Chicago spring? Yes. I think if you're searching for a perfect spring perfume that doesn't fade quickly, I think you should get a sample of this.

I tried this from the Beach Reads sample set. I absolutely love the fragrance. It's quite polarizing. At first, it's a strong hit of white florals and florals all the way. I was quite bored when I first tried it. And after a couple of hours I smelled the spicy drydown on my hands and fell in love with it. Stays true to the name - the fragrance changes its demeanor like a fox. Just wish it lasted longer!

A very beautiful jasmine note with a unique note of mountain air. I don't get that soapy smell that everyone else gets. This is an amazing fragrance and as a guy I love it on myself. This fragrance punches you with those florals and makes it very likeable with the combination of that mountain air note and the honey note, as it makes it very sweet and calming.

Lovely, heavy floral with a very strong honey note. I also purchased this with my own money ^ and I really enjoy it. My brother is a fan too, but my sister gets that "pee smell" a lot of other people are mentioning, although at first she described it as an animal scent. I don't really understand what could be making it smell like pee to so many people ?

This smells so pretty on my skin! It's very floral, powdery, and slightly soapy which sounds like it shouldn't work, but it's blended so well that it does. It's light, fresh and airy without feeling generic. It honestly feels like being transported into some kind of lush, fragrant, soapy flower dimension. There's something almost otherworldly about it.

Definitely in the same neighborhood as California Reverie, but VC&A does it better. Absolutely pleasant, sunny, happy, florals. Very wearable. But other reviews are right that it dries down into soapy laundry musk. Not unpleasantly so, but just be aware that the sunny airy florals will turn into "really nice jasmine scented laundry detergent"

This doesn't smell animalic or indolic on my skin. Instead, it smells soapy and quite creamy. I was planning on getting a full bottle of J-Scent's Aurantium Jasmine, but I think I prefer FITF, even though Aurantium Jasmine smells like photorealistic jasmine plant. I can also picture that mountain air accord on the dry down. 8/10

I don't get any of the "pissy" smells/note. To me it smells like a thrift/witchcraft store in San Francisco or Salem its has the floral for the beautiful women that run the store then that frankincense comes in and represents what there selling and what the store smells like.

There is something about the DNA of Imaginary Authors scents that I do not like. Luckily, I don't have this problem with Fox in the Flowerbed. It smells exactly like its story. A fun and very realistic floral, smelling maybe more like pollen. It lasts decently on me as well.

Ahh. This perfume is very jasmine and frankincense forward so I can see why it would come across as kind of vintage to some people. Personally, it reminds me of sun kissed linen swaying among the wildflowers, I think there's so much beauty in the simplicity of this one. ♥

I love this fragrance so much my favorite from the house right behind slow explosions and waffle cone I love the sweet florals and honey, only downside is definitely too feminine for every person I’ve asked said it’s really feminine 😢

i thought the scent was really candid :) it smells exactly like sitting in a meadow (but then just drizzle a bit of honey on the whole scene, lol) it is a simpler fragrance, but not in a bad way. i really like it.

I love this fragrance! It is super-floral--white floral (Jasmine)--but is nonetheless very wearable for a man. It has this vibrant animalic note that renders the fragrance a very floral scent for men.

Smells fresh, sweet floral. I really like this scent as a springy daytime fragrance. Jasmine forward, and strong, but not overpowering. To me it doesn't read as super feminine, either, which I like.

This one’s for the jasmine lovers. A bit top note-heavy, but it’s light and lovely, and I will admit that the Imaginary Authors shtick has me sold.

I was expecting this to be unisex but it smells exactly like lilac to me, I just cannot picture any masculine leaning person would wear this.

To me, this smells like a hot, lush greenhouse full of jasmine and other florals. But with an added musk note. I love it.

Yes a bit powdery but also very wearable for men in my opinion but I don't follow the rules, it seems.

I bought the full sample set, and this is the 11th i try: Wow, this is Gorgeous! It's a beautiful, fresh, clean, aromatic, and sweet floral fragrance. Strong sillage and good longevity. Opens very floral, with jasmine overpowering everything else. Tulip and a citrus note are playing a second fiddle. Can't smell the rest of the notes. In the mid, it's Jasmin, tulip, white florals, and a tart and dry bergamot. perfectly balanced between the sweet florals and the tart citrus to give it a light and airy scent that has density to it. I do get some cedar wood in the background too. Dry-down is a lot of the same. Slightly more floral leaning than the mid, but the citrus is still present. At this point the citrus accord combined with the floral accord can come of as cleaning product adjacent. But there are clearly more complexity and depth to it then a common household cleaning product ever will have. It is simply an unfortunate fact that a lot of cleaning products are floral and/or citrus notes. This is too feminine for me, personally. But if i was a woman, i imagine this is the kind of fragrance i'd love wearing. It's such a beautiful scent and it's elegant and alluring at the same time. A "can't go wrong with it" kind of fragrance. The sweet facets of jasmine with other florals and a citrusy backbone makes the fragrance timeless and ultra versatile. It is however nothing new. This is a classic jasmine focused floral fragrance. Where: Casual to fully formal. I don't see any occasion this can't be worn, but it's probably not special enough for weddings and very special occasion. When: Spring and summer. It's fully wearable all year, but i find flowers and citrus kind of fits the spring and summer theme. Daytime vibe, but again, wearable at any time realy. Who: Women. This is a very feminine fragrance in my opinion. As a man, i would never wear this in public (or alone for that matter). ANy age group, really. It's got the sweet and tart combo that hit perfectly for any age. Personal score: 8.25/10. It's a beautiful, classy, and elegant scent with a lively, crisp and airy side to it. It's playful and calm at the same time. It is too feminine for me, so i won't be getting a bottle. But it's hard not to appreciate the quality and scent. But it isn't anything new or groundbreaking. You've probably smelled something like it several times, even if not exactly the same.

Once upon a time, I was leery of this brand. I'm a writer, former librarian, current creative writing professor, and tbh the whole aesthetic just felt too on-the-nose. Imaginary Authors seemed like a fragrance house I would dream up myself, and because it already felt so conceptually familiar and accessible to me, I guess I thought I should explore less obvious and comfortable territory in the fragrance world. Oh, but I'm such a sucker for marketing and packaging, and that fox! The origin story of Chunhua Luli, her fairytales, and the students who track her down! And the combination of some of my most-loved notes! It's like IA found the precise formula to finally hook me in. I bought this as an early Christmas gift to myself, and I'm glad I finally surrendered. Lovely, lush jasmine in the opening gives way as this dries down to honey and pink peppercorn. The mountain air is kind of an atmosphere--closing my eyes I don't so much smell it directly as perceive it as the setting through which the other notes float. I honestly don't know what tulip smells like in perfume, but when I think about times I've smelled actual tulips I remember a kind of green, slightly waxy smell, which I think I can detect here. It really is a lovely fragrance. Not something I will wear in the winter, I think--I like darker, spookier fragrances at this time of year--but something to look forward to getting to know better in the spring. Thanks, Imaginary Authors. Now I'm ready to try some of your other fragrances, and I have no doubt we shall live happily ever after. The end!

This was both exactly and nothing like I expected it to be. At first spray, it's rich and heady florals, a subtle soapy-freshness, and a tinge of greenness. The tulip and thistle were apparent right away, evoking images of a springtime meadow. The sun is shining, there's a slight breeze that makes the flowers dance and their pollen fills the air. This fragrance is also a bit familiar and nostalgic to me. It reminded me of my grandmother's strategically placed bowls of potpourri. It also reminded me of my other grandmother's dusty candles that remained unlit because they were purely decorative. After the first hour, the jasmine starts to emerge, bringing out that sharp white floral scent that I am not partial to. Thankfully, the jasmine note only stuck out for a couple of hours and then, by hour four, we were back to the start with the more nondescript, lush florals. The frankincense is somewhat present throughout—I feel like that's where the scent's somewhat resinous "pollinated" quality comes from—but it becomes more apparent sometime around the sixth hour. I didn't pick up on the mountain air or pink pepper notes at all and the honey was almost non-existent to me, though I feel that there was an ever-so-slight sweetness throughout. The sillage on this was moderate to strong and the longevity was long, lasting on my skin for at least ten hours. Overall, this was a very pleasant fragrance to experience. I don't enjoy distinct jasmine notes, so this wasn't entirely enchanting, but it is a wonderfully refreshing springtime scent nonetheless.

What a pretty, soft and slightly green floral. And for me a departure from floral as typically used to describe a perfume. This really smells semi-close to natural inviting flowers. Needs the drydown time to really settle ...it was a bit much (synthetic??) at first. And the very opening smells very old school vintage perfumey. I will embarrassingly admit I bought this sample mostly for the name ...which I love! I also dig the company’s overall story. It’s a tiny bit sweet and powdery about an hour in. I’m not sure if I have figured out how this type of perfume works for my life ...but I definitely enjoy it. It has that ozonize clean thing happening behind the scenes and then the warmth of the frankincense to round it out. I am getting no honey (outside of the warmth) and don’t pick up the pink pepper. Fun afternoon scent with such a cute name. Makes me happy. **Quick note...after wearing this for a few hours the Jasmine is the dominant floral here. Tempered by the other notes but it’s definitely the star flower. If you don’t like Jasmine I would avoid this one.

Fox in the Flowerbed genuinely surprised me. I’m not usually a big fan of heavier floral fragrances, but this one quickly became one of my favorites from Imaginary Authors. It’s vivid, peaceful, and perfectly captures the feeling of a calm, relaxed spring morning/afternoon. My main issue with white florals is that they can often become too powdery and heavy, especially with honeyed nuances, instead of leaning green and smooth. Thankfully, that problem is almost nonexistent here. The fragrance feels light, airy, and beautifully balanced. In fact, the composition is so well done that I almost forgot about the price, which is... well, pretty damn salty at €114 for 50ml. Still, Fox in the Flowerbed has a very “spiritual” kind of vibe. Even though there are other fragrances in a similar style, this one carries a unique feeling that’s hard to find at the same level. It’s one of those cases where I genuinely don’t understand the relatively low ratings it gets here on fragrantica, even considering its few "downsides" ( if you can even find more than the price itself).

This is a zen, airy, almost watery jasmine fragrance. The personality of this reminds me a little of one of my favorite Lilly fragrances Elegantly Tokyo. It’s a spring-like natural, breezy day when the crisp air turns to a perfect cool breeze, or the first spring rain. I think the tulip is giving that mild Lilly feeling especially when joined the mountain air. There’s a slight foggy feeling to the jasmine in this fragrance and of course a slight green edge to this fragrance along with a pinch of honey sweetness but not much. This isn’t what I’d call a sweet perfume. It also reminds me a bit of A La Nuit. A green, honeyed, natural but not quite as natural, jasmine. I’m not sure why anyone would go for an obviously floral fragrance and then be upset that it’s floral, but if you don’t like florals like jasmine skip this one. I love it. Yesterday I wore this and my 10 year old said, “It smells so good in here!” I said that I had just put on perfume. He said, “That smells amazing!” Do with that what u will.

I'm reviewing this in order to help people understand something: your sense of smell is genetic and you perceive things differently from others. The same way some people taste cilantro as soapy and others taste it as fresh and bright. Certain white florals smell fresh and sweet to some people while the same formula will smell like cat pee to others. It's just your genes. No one is crazy. It's a thing that occurs-the same way some people can't smell certain notes that others love. Reading the reviews for this fragrance and seeing people not understand that concept was driving me crazy so I had to explain it. I hope I've helped at least one person by writing this. With that out of the way. I like this just fine. To me it's a fresh floral with some sweet and airy notes. Not groundbreaking but not bad. It's obviously not a safe blind buy since there's no way to know if you'll get the pee note until you try it.

This is what I imagine the swiss alps smell like during the springtime. This is such a delight of a fragrance. This starts off with ultra realistic, dewy, and green white florals and pink pepper with a fresh burst of what I presume to be aldehydes to make the "mountain air" cooling effect. As it dries it gets a honeyed resinous base that makes it seem like the midday sun over the flowers and it is really really pretty. This is another fragrance that I would love to smell on my girlfriend, especially during the spring and early summer. This leans fairly feminine to my nose, but if you are really into the realistic white floral kind of fragrance I think you should get your nose on this. This something that I love to keep my sample around for, and I will spray it on me when I'm just doing stuff around my house. 7/10.

The first spray is harsh— I finally get why people say jasmine smells like pee— but that fades away quickly. Then it's a soft, realistic floral that doesn't have much in the way of sweetness, which I like. This really does smell like getting a whiff of flowers off the wind in the spring. Definitely a pretty scent, but I'm not crazy about florals so I can't see myself wearing this. Somebody who spends more time in sundresses could really rock it. Edit: returning to this one a few months later, and I still really enjoy it, but it's not "me". I have found that layering it with a couple dabs of Solstice Scents During The Rain really adds an earthy, mineralic layer that is super nice and masculinizes the fragrance somewhat. Would recommend.

Jasmine almost always smells fecal on me, but shockingly, not this time. Instead, I get a straightforward soapy white floral that has a smidge of something that puts the imagery of the fox in this juice as time passes (maybe the pepper? The jasmine? ). If that sounds to your taste, it’s worth sampling. Once upon a time I might have full bottled this, but it feels a little redundant since I already own ELDO’s “Yes, I Do” and MM’s “Flower Market” (both of which have different very different notes, but they’re all close enough in the white floral category that I don’t favor one over the other). That said, when one of those runs out, I’d consider this as a replacement.

Got this for free alongside another sample from this house. An immediate barrage of photorealistic flowers, which reminded me of nosediving into the Trader Joe's flower section. I only really wear florals in conjunction with fruits and/or gourmands, but something about this made me nostalgic. It's very beautiful, like a mature and well put together woman, who keeps to herself nowadays but has many stories to tell about her past. There is a sweet presence from the honey but it retains its green and ozonic qualities. Definitely worth looking into if you're a diehard floral lover. As for my purposes, a great room scent.

This is a jasmine bomb! It’s heady white florals fresh from the garden mixed with powdered laundry detergent and crisp, cool mountain air, with a slightly aromatic edge (maybe that’s the thistle?). It’s super flowery, pretty, and unique. There’s just a touch of sweetness, which may be the honey, although this is definitely not a honey-heavy fragrance. Kinda wish the honey note came through more. Not a full bottle purchase for me, but I appreciate the scent nonetheless. It would be perfect for spring. This is probably my second-favorite IA scent of the five I’ve tried (my absolute favorite being Saint Julep).

Not a scorching day with sticky air and overwhelming scents, but one with a warm, comfortable atmosphere and gentle sunshine. In this idyllic scene, a distinctive note emerges—slightly animalic, leathery, perhaps even subtly dry. It enhances the composition without dominating it. I immediately associate it with the titular fox. The perfume lasts long, but over time it stays closer to the skin. A pleasant floral fragrance, encased in a cheerful bottle. A great gift for someone entering the world of niche perfumes.

Fresh floral that opens with and aggressively clean "mountain air" note. A bit too strong on my nose, perhaps. It can bring to mind an air freshener, precisely because of this note. This perfume it's like that aunt, the one that wakes up at 6 AM and start scrubbing the house top to bottom, making a lot of noise, opening all the windows to change the air, baking cookies for the whole family. You wake up in a ice-cold, clean home, munching on warm cookies, vaguely grateful to your benefactress and her zeal, but also somewhat glad that she's here only for a couple of days.

Notttt a blind buy. Thankfully I got a tester. It’s not that it’s bad it’s just that it’s...personal. This smells musky and almost animalic on my skin with some floral and soapy whiffs. I feel like it’s the honey and resin notes. I feel like a dog that spent time in the neighbors garden unsupervised. But in a good way? I like this on me and I can’t help sniffing myself because it’s so interesting. I feel so cozy in it. it’s my post shower pre sleep scent for the time being. But I’d never wear this in public I’d probably get some confused faces.

I am not a floral girlie, but this is amazing! A few more wears and I might elevate it to the "love" category. Wish it was spring, so that I could smell it at that time. It' great even on a gloomy autumn day, I wonder what sunshine would do to it. Very flowery (jasmin is amazing in this one, so soft), tulips, maybe even a little bit of lilac? A hint of honey... Very fresh and crisp. Smells like a sunny weekend morning in the spring. It really is a mood lifter, you feel clean, elegant and put together.

It’s not bad at all. It’s a very nostalgic scent, pleasant and soapy floral. Shimmery white liquid hand soap—the kind in a public restroom. There’s a faint hint of menma in the opening that I dislike, and menma always reminds me of old urine, but maybe that’s just me... There isn’t much about it that gives off a mountainous, or even an outdoorsy air. Layerable and uncomplicated. I like it, but I don’t think I would ever use more than the 1ml sample vial I have—especially since it makes my nose itch.
