Carmilla

The first time I wore this I was waxing poetic in my perfume journal about erotica and menstrual blood. Which isn't to say this is bloody - blood isn't listed on the perfumer's site and I don’t pick up any metallic notes like others have. But what this *does* is suffocate me with rich sweetness, much like Carmilla suffocating Laura. I have a love/hate relationship with this - it's too cloying, it's just heavy enough; it's not nice to smell, it's all I want to stick my nose in; it's cough syrupy, it's rich fruits, spice, and dying roses. It's perfect for Carmilla.

Received in a traveling sample box and fell in love at first sniff. It's a dark, realistic-cherry scent without the cloying cough medicine that sometimes pops up with cherry. There's a light spiciness that warms up as it dries down, becoming a little heavier. I wore it before doing light yard work in the hot summer and realized it was probably more suitable for Fall/Winter as the scent got stronger. Love that this house creates their scents based on books/characters, too.

it really does smelll like you're a super hot vampire... very sweet and alluring at first and dries down into something much more spicy. also the blood note does come through a bit in this eerie metallic way? it really smells like you're something supernatural masquerading as human lol i love it!!!

I really like this scent! It smells sweet but aged, like something out of my grandmothers cabinet. It definitely reminds me of Carmilla, but I kinda wish the blood notes stood out more. It's honestly one of my favorite perfumes to layer, because its so simple.

Carmilla smells like a vampire sipping mulled whine in her lair/boudoir. It is the warm and spicy counterpart to Bloody Wood from Les Liquides Imaginaires.

Lost Cherry smells like cough syrup. Carmilla smells like a sexy cherry. I'd go for this 100% of the time

doesn't smell like i expected. i imagined it more sexy vampire blood and cherries. it's like sexy dried rotten flowers, very sweet and spicy. i don't get the blood notes. the cherry smells almost like candy. overall a nice surprise and i will be wearing it all the time. i still really crave a perfume that smells like blood (let me be emo). to compare it to lost cherry... here it's more in the base notes. lost cherry seems almost silly compared. for me it starts 1st rotten florals, spicy cinnamony, sweet and in the end cherry. you do smell like a sexy vampire. EDIT: nvm you can DEFINITELY smell the metal notes (I was in the direction of the car ac)

Started out with very sharp almond and cherry notes with a tinge of something more sinister underneath... rotten metal? It's dried down to a very buttery vanilla on my skin- delicious but wish it had more of the blood notes (might just be my skin chemistry)

starts with a flash of sweet cherry and immediately dries down to a very powdery and cloying scent of a Victorian woman's bedroom. evokes imagery of old wood floors, dead flowers adorning a vanity, dusty lace curtains, and a trunk full of old photographs and journals. i want so badly to like it but i think it is too mature for my taste, which tracks for it's naming after an immortal victorian girl, so i can't be upset.

This has to be the most DISGUSTING perfume I've ever smelled. Who in their right mind tested this and said that's it! It smells like it was made by someone who doesn't know anything about perfumes. It smells like a cigarette dipped in clove oil, covered with old mildewed baby powder between two lymphodimas of a 600lbs redneck woman and rotten zombie legs. I want my money back. No cherry, no plum, no sweetness, nothing nice at all.
