Black Imperial

The purple pride that lives in color on your soft corolla it is obvious that you took it from the veins of my love.” -Shakespeare (A Midsummer Night's Dream)- I have always loved violet as an olfactory note, even here, where it is wonderfully distorted: accompanied by citrus fruits, by a dusty rose, it takes on dark tones through an earthy and incisive patchouli, giving us a fragrance with great personality. I would define her as a "femme fatale", sensual, but with dark and mysterious nuances. Absolutely unisex, excellent sillage and persistence. I really wear it with pleasure and for me it is truly original. “La belle dame sans merci” painted by Dicksee.

This is one of my favs. It lasts for days on my hoodies. The lilac is smooth and there’s peppery bite with the rose, the amber and vanilla are comforting and the patchouli isn’t too strong for me. Love!

Not sure what to think here. Previous votes had this with excellent performance. Not for me. I am working from a discovery set where others lasted at least 10 hours with low projection. I didn't get 6 from this one. All a skin scent. I don't know if the atomizer from the sample is so inferior to a regular bottle. I get a wide dispersion and a fine mist. Really poor performance compared to previous samples from the set. The scent is like Moustache with violet added. Really nice. I would actually consider adding it to my collection if it performed. I will give it a few more wored or empty the sample vial before writing it off.

The patchouli is dominant note. It smells like a violet version of Radiant Mirage. Although this velvety violet is nice, it is a little subdued quality as an extrait parfum.

I get, some flowers, citrus/bergamot and some spices and vanilla. It is Nice, Pleasant and easy to wear, i would say it is lovely.
