Antique

This is actually a mens perfume, but I don't quite agree with that. It's very unisex and a bit different than the other vanilla based perfumes I own- but I really like it. It's a cedar woody vanilla with iris and vetiver - deep and a little dark. Very good on it's own but also really nice to layer with if I want some oompf to perfumes that I want less sweet or give some depth. The opening is almost medicinal but not quite. I find it a little hard to describe. The mix of iris with the woody notes and vanilla is just heavenly and the vetiver gives it a slight zest. This is not for gourmand vanilla seekers. I'd say it's a very good vanilla for mature women no matter the age. One of the best vanillas I can imagine on a man (my taste of course). I can even picture a goth person rocking this. Longevity and sillage are medium, skin scent after 6 hours on me. For the sillage I'm actually happy it's not more, it's a perfume I don't want to spread too much. It sits on clothes a long time. It's also a very affordable perfume, much better than it's price class, so if you have the chance to try it, I really recommend it.
