Pluie

It opens up a little wild actually, it's a confusing mix of spices, air, rose and green that feels bit warm, light, woody and green at the same time - then it calms down after a few minutes capturing the feeling of stepping outside just after a summer rain shower, when the air is cool, the trees are damp, and everything feels fresh and alive, roses are blooming and nature has had a good wash after the rain. As the fragrance develops, the Turkish rose takes over a bit together with watery and rain notes. The rose is natural and dewy rather than sweet or powdery. At this point it's a rose forward perfume. The drydown is a bit different. Moss, pine, and soft musk makes it more woody. The combination is earthy, green, and calming, with just enough warmth to keep it from feeling cold. This is not a gourmand, a fruity floral, or a loud attention-seeker. Instead, it is a fragrance for those who appreciate nature-inspired scents. The perfume is a shapeshifter through all stages, each stage is really nice. It makes me feel clean. Absolutely unisex, longevity and sillage is good, skin scent after 6 hours on me. I had to look up what Pluie actually means, it's "rain" in French and I think the name fits the perfume well. However, I catch myself wishing the bottle had a better design as I don't think it's doing justice to the scent....
