Impulse Burnt Marshmallow + Leather Jacket

I really like this it smells almost buttery to me I always get asked what I’m wearing when I have this on definitely a repeat reperchase from me

Less toasted marshmallows and a leather jacket at the bonfire, more butter popcorn and flat vanilla coke and melting PVC and tyre smoke at a monster truck rally. It's still appealing, despite the misnomer. I'd happily wear it, and not feel as self-conscious as I might usually about a very cheap and widely-available teen-marketed drugstore body spray. Protip: smear a dab of thick good quality vanilla essence over the scent, and enjoy the atmosphere of fairground, candyfloss and toffee apples, old supple canvas, fire-breathing. Halfway to a Dzing! dupe, which excites me as Dzing! is my lost love. It's too basic, tame, clean and weak to compete with original Dzing!, but with a bit of imagination...

Exactly what it claims to be; sweet, sugary vanilla-heavy marshmallow against a background of soft leather. Lasts and projects well, and fortunately not too cloying. This was a year round go to for me when I attended the office frequently pre-covid, and it’s still one I come back to every so often now. If you like sweet scents with a slight edge, this one’s for you. It pairs perfectly with a leather jacket!

Used to wear Impulse freshies as a teen, so when I saw this I had to buy it just because of how perfectly the name captures the current perfume zeitgeist. And I like it! It goes very well with Cloud honestly. I want to buy this for my BFF's 9-year-old, she's just getting into body sprays and I think this is a great one.

When I first smelt this spray, I thought it was absolutely horrendous. However, I kept thinking about it until I bought it this year. The first note you smell is a burnt leather note and then it dries down into a soft, sweet marshmallow scent.

I actually like this, it smells sweet with an almost dirty smell to it. It definitely isn't going to make an impression but when I spray it on my clothes I can smell it all day. Recommend for a no thoughts to it just spray and run errands.

Was my signature scent when I was in Japan. Couldn't afford anything fancy. It has fond memories linked to it. It's cheap, it's sweet, and it smells different from most cheap, sweet perfumes. A definite edge to it.

it's more like half eaten marshmallow stuck to a car seat. there's no burnt note here for me. I was expecting either like burnt sugar/caramel or a smoky note but there's just nothing close to that. it opens with just a vague sweetness and the leather comes through as it dries. I think "leather jacket" conjures images of worn, vintage leather, at least for me, but this leather is more like car steering wheel or handbag in a brightly lit shop at the shopping centre. very clean and new, no animal nature to it. it's not bad, you just need to lower your expectations. as usual with impulse it won't last long. you get what you pay for with this one.

Tried this on as the goofy name and notes intrigued me. Huge regret - I had a pretty severe asthma attack right in the middle of the grocery store. I have owned hundreds of perfumes and not one has ever made me gasp for breath until I tried this one. The smell is quite nauseating. I very rarely leave such negative reviews, but I really disliked this one. Perhaps it was tainted by the need to use my reliever inhaler, but never the less... Starts out with sweet sugar and fluffy marshmallow... Great, right? I was surprised that I liked it straight away, however in between using my Ventolin inhaler and trying to laugh off my reaction to this strange little body spray, a funky peppery smell and something that stinks of burned out tires fight it out for dominance on my wrist while I search for my wet wipes to scrub it off. Not for me at all.

daring, edgy, and unique this scent is perfect for an afternoon - evening event. it's sweet without being sickly as the pepper dances around it, while the suede wades through creating a woody spicy but daring scent. the sweetness adds femininity and context to the scent, but the suede and pepper are the supporting characters. suitable for winter,autumn & spring.

What a gem! I think it's my favourite of all Impulse line. This is so creative! I feel rough leather and clean marshmallows mixing in some kind of grunge aesthetic way. Don't expect it to be gourmand, think out of box. It's more mature than typical Impulse audience.

Great Scent! This is one of the scents that Drag Queen Trixie Mattel wears. So if you want to smell like a fabulous and hilarious queen. This is the one for you.

Smells exactly like straight up leather jacket or handbag. How can a cheap company capture leather way more realistically than high end companies ? 🤔
