Fusion Énigmatique

Fusion Énigmatique is classified by the manufacturer as a fruity floral with a unique olfactory identity. Its fragrance has notes of bergamot, orange blossom, honey, and geranium on top; Notes of rose, tuberose, mimosa flower, patchouli, and iris, in the body; Notes of musk, vanilla, vetiver, and ambergris, in the base of the olfactory pyramid. It is a perfume marketed as female and was the winner in the category of Best female fragrance in Latin America, in 2019 (year of its release). And I can already say: it deserved to take the award! Upon touching the skin, Fusion Énigmatique explodes in grace and elegance, with plenty of orange blossom and lots and lots of honey! I'm glad that bergamot is there to bring the chypre signature of this fragrance that, on my skin, behaves like a chypre-floral. Fusion Énigmatique did not come to play. Among the four initial fragrances, it is the most audacious, without a doubt. It is evident that the creator was heavily influenced by opulent fragrances of yesteryear such as Ysatis (YSL), Rumba (Ted Lapidus), and White Diamonds (Elizabeth Taylor). The biggest difference is in the composition, now more minimalist, and in the fact that formerly the ylang-ylang flower had sweeter and fruitier nuances, sometimes reminding the smell of bananas. Here, the honey updates the composition, giving it a touch of the present day. Fusion Énigmatique does not have an abrupt evolution, like that kind of fragrance that seems to transform into others over time. It's subtle and linear, always keeping the floral spirit, which is more yellow than white. In fact, when it comes to synesthesia – which is part of the concept of this authorial line – I believe that a yellow bottle, with darker tones (egg yolk color), would have represented this product better. Returning to the fragrance, there is no rose expensive enough to defeat the power of the tuberose. Intense and sweet, it blends with the drier facets of mimosa and gains slightly woody nuances, thanks to patchouli. Remember the honey? It keeps exuding, steady and strong! Fusion Énigmatique goes even further and brings a dense base, whose vanilla note could have destroyed all the fragrance's beauty. But what we have here is creamy vanilla, which sinks into a vase filled with musk where the flowers have been placed to beautify the skin. Fusion Énigmatique is not a Niche Perfume, because the company was founded with the purpose of offering fragrances inspired by the most famous, striving for more quality and at an affordable price. Therefore, we cannot mix the segments! That said, what I can say is that the fragrance of Fusion Énigmatique is luxurious, refined, and of excellent performance, leaving nothing to be desired in relation to the fragrances that are sold by international brands within the Prestige, Niche, or Indie segments. And in this aspect, the feeling of victory is even greater, as the result exceeded expectations. Finally, I have a few questions for you: do you like opulent, floral fragrances like those from the 80s? Do you like creations that bring the tuberose note? Do you like florals bathed in honey? Are you part of the group in which projection and lasting are indispensable? If your answer was yes, then Fusion Énigmatique is that type of perfume that seems to be made to measure for you.

A sweet and very original perfume . Main notes on my skin are honey and mimosa, it is delicious, not cloying, and very long lasting since it is an extrait. Sillage and projection are quite good, the scent is noticeable but not overwhelmingly so, tantalizing and mysterious. Can be used in temps up to 90 F and all day (2 spritzes at the most since it is quite strong).Fusion is so elegant and sensual, the patchouli ia quite tame and clean. Great and quite cheap for the niche quality.
