Zum Mist Lavender Mint

Seeing as this is Zum I will try not to wax poetic but I completely agree with the reviewer below me who speculated that they are not revealing all their notes. I logged back into this account after 4 years just to say that for something so inexpensive and easy to obtain, this is a remarkable scent, a diamond in the rough even. This fragrance is herbal and fresh, aromatic and woody, and not without some lasting power most modern and far more expensive perfumes lack. I get 2 to 3 hours and for a body spray that is light, fresh, and "herbal" color me satisfied. I haven't experienced this with Guerlain nor with Clarins. Speaking of, I have been lamenting the discontinuation of Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca. Yet another love lost and I took it pretty hard. I admit though that finding Zum's Lavender Mint Indigo Wild mist tempers the feeling somewhat. It might sound silly and this isn't a dupe by any means but I would be remiss to say it is not a very similarly satisfying scent. Yes, Guerlain is more refined but at least part of that perception is wrapped in emotional attachment to the history of the brand, the marketing, the beautiful art direction, and what Guerlain means to me as a fragrance powerhouse not to mention the beautiful stories behind their mythical creations. Yet still, this feels quite elegant. Were this packaged in a beautiful bottle I think that alone could change perceptions. I absolutely can get beyond the plastic spray bottle, because it's simply wonderful in the summertime. I look forward to it after my evening shower or bath. If you fancy fresh scents, you can't go wrong here!

Based on other reviews and my own experiences, it seems like the brand is somewhat deceptive and doesn't list all the notes. This body mist definitely has geranium and eucalyptus alongside the lavender and mint. Most of their aroma blends contain patchouli as well. There's dimension, it's aromatic, floral, herbal, mentholated, with subtle woody, earthy touches. Texturally smooth yet rich and natural smelling. Gloriously refreshing, invigorating, and as clean as the rich earth after a rainfall. For a $10 oil blend in a plastic spray bottle, it's distinctive and memorable. It will appeal to those who crave fresh scents with sophistication. This stuff smells lovely.
