Zum Mist Patchouli

A long lasting, affordable, true and beautiful patchouli. This opens with a WET burst of fresh herbaceous loams of patchouli. Comforting and sinister at once. Like walking through the forest after a damp storm. The sunlight peeking through the vertical silvers of trees, ferns and moss laden with rain water. Sheer beauty at the exact moment you realize you are completely lost in the woods. It is the perfect patchouli- without any of the fluffy sweetness that other budget patches have that often swing it in a hippie direction. This is all fresh earth and sweetens as it dries down- transforming it into a balsamic/ambery slightly chocolate cakey patch while keeping it firmly in photorealism. Smells like my time as a tarot reader at a local botanica, and is truly heavenly...in the most dirty way.

Patchouli heaven! As many have long said and will continue to say “patchouli is a love it or hate it type of scent.” Personally I am absolutely in love with the smell of patchouli, so for me this is heavenly! I just recently bought this bottle and was immediately impressed by how delicious this smells. I had been searching far and wide so this specific patchouli scent and here it is! It’s a straight up head shop patchouli type of smell and on my skin that continues. It’s smells sweet and almost chocolatey but also a bit earthy on me and I’ve never been happier about it. It’s weirdly mouth watering to me if that even makes sense. I’m in love and if you’ve been searching for a heady hippie patchouli, look no further! :)

Pleasantly surprised to find this in the database! The multi-use functionality of the Zum (rhymes with "mum") mist is frankly staggering. I'm using it on the furniture, my linens, the air, my hair, everything, all the time. I LOVE that this is an essential-oil only fragrance mist with an amazing price point (though the packaging not ideal; they used to use stainless steel years ago but somewhere along the line, it sadly went to plastic). Some Zum mists do contain fragrance oils along with essential oils, but the brand is transparent enough about it on their website. I can't say enough good things about the Patch Zum Mist. I am quickly emptying my wallet to buy many more products from this brand.

This is excellent, especially for the price. It smells similar to the patchouli that's in Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, and Chance. This scent lasts a long time, & projects well. I tested it in a Sprouts store, and it lasted pretty much 12+ hours. Also, on clothing it lasted a few days. The ingredients are natural. All you have to do is shake it up, and then spray it. Definitely planning on buying a bottle at some point, as it was only $11. Earthy, clean, beautiful, unisex. ******P.S. When purchasing my groceries, a woman 6ft behind me, with a mask said "Your perfume smells so good." "What perfume is that?" I only sprayed 1 spray. Excellent sillage. It really does smell like a good perfume.

This body spray slash room spray is my favorite patchouli "perfume" ever. Crazy right? You shake the bottle then spray to apply onto the skin, or on your linens, or into the air, even in your hair. It's strong with great longevity. The patchouli smells like straight patchouli. Nothing else with it. The magic with this body spray is your individual chemistry. On me this patchouli changes into a spicy sweet patch scent. People will notice it and say "Oh you're wearing patchouli, how nice it smells". Yes, it is very nice.

This is an ABSOLUTE must for patchouli lovers. Patchouli is my 2nd fav scent note after vanilla. This zum mist is so, so inexpensive and yet this lasts for quite a while. All natural and it is as good on skin as a perfume, as it is as an air freshener, clothes and linen spray, hair refresher.... It is the perfect and most natural smelling patchouli; earthy, sweet, dirty, damp, air, medicinal and fresh. This also layers amazingly well (of course) with Mugler Angel and almost any vanilla dominant scent.

Smells so bad yet so good. The first time I wore this someone walked by me and said “who spilled a bottle of patchouli?” — I’d sprayed once and even layered lavender Zum to mellow it out. She said it smells exactly like a head shop and the 60s. Mind you, no one has EVER commented on my fragrance before. So, just know this has beast mode sillage (without choking you out.) Can’t wait to experiment with more layering. I love that this gives me the vibe of Angel without “wasting” it (I’m addicted).

Reviewed this in 2018 and still rocking it today. Still one of my favorite frags hands down and has remained consistent in quality over the years. I use the body spray and the laundry detergent daily and then layer on top various scents and I get so many compliments. I know I’m sure there’s an equal number of people that also avoid me because of my scent as Patchouli is a super polarizing smell but man do I love it.

This perfume is straight up head-shop patchouli. And that's a very good thing. It's strong, but in a good way. Like RB2002 stated, the laundry detergent is amazing too. I use that in my bed linens and they smell nice for a long time. My husband, who is not himself a fan of patchouli, even likes this, provided I don't get carried away with the spritzing. It's a nice clean dirty smell.

I shamelessly love patchouli and this stuff is the best. It smells great alone, but also layers well with other patchouli forward frags or frags that need that dirty and earthy boost. It's also very strong and long lasting as it is an oil based product. You want 70's head shop vibes? Then this is IT.

As a girl of the 60’s patchouli is my favorite scent of all time. It’s either love it or hate it, no in between. I LOVE THIS! It is the same scent from back in my day. Amazing. They also have this in a roll on perfume oil but the longevity is nil.

my absolute favorite body mist ever. pure patchouli - woody, earthy, musky. gotten a LOT of compliments on it throughout the years. lasts forever on clothes and hair especially. so cheap. just absolutely perfect.

I love this! As another reviewer said, it will last for days with just one spray in the air. Unfortunately, my husband hates patcholi so I can only wear it if I'm not at home for a while. Very earthy dirt scent.

I have this Patchouli blend in the format of the lotion as well as the body mist. A fantastic, unadulterated spin on patchouli. It starts off musty, with the herbaceous, mentholated, woodsy qualities as well as the dusty, clay-like, earthy facets of patchouli. As it sits it mellows, developing a powdery warmth and subtle sweetness. I think I prefer the lotion to the body mist. I wish Indigo Wild would release more ZUM cologne rollies. I'd definitely stock up on them. The "Frankincense & Myrrh" blend is my favorite, but the "Sea Salt", "Lavender Mint" and this "Patchouli" blend are fantastic too! Indigo Wild is underrated, especially at this modest price point.

This mist is strong, straight up patchouli. I have the patchouli laundry detergent, mist, lotion and bar soap, and find myself using the bar soap and laundry detergent the most. I get more compliments on what I smell like when I use this laundry detergent than anything else, perfume or otherwise. The lotion smells a little different, almost like pencil shavings and patchouli, so that's not my favorite. Now the mist..this is potent stuff and not for the faint hearted. When I use this as a room spray, one spray will scent a room for days. Even if you spray this in the corner somewhere and walk away, the scent of this is so strong, it somehow wafts through the air and comes and finds you, you don't even have to walk through it. A great $10 spray for patchouli lovers, and it lasts forever because a little goes a long way. From this line, the patchouli laundry detergent is what I recommend trying, it makes everything smell really nice, and despite being a long lasting scent, it's a softer, gentler way to get your patchouli fix.

I picked this up and love its versatility. Room spray, body spray, linens, etc. Since it is a single note of patchouli, it has been entertaining to layer fragrances over the patchouli. On my skin, it has very good longevity. If you hate Thierry Mugler's Angel or Angel Muse which has strong patchouli notes, don't pick this fragrance up. This is especially good layered under Zum Frankincense and Myrrh. Pretty impressive scents.

Pro tip: If you're a true patchouli freak, get the Indigo Wild laundry detergent, too. The projection off of clothes washed with the Patchouli detergent is unreal.

This is a great patchouli. I actually use the hand soap which is terrific as it cleansing but also softens while imparting that lovely, earthy aroma. ✨
