Matin de Jade

I sprayed this and it changed my day. I went out and weeded my rocks, I straightened up my house, I went from sweats to a classy button up, jewelry, and actual pants. I don't know what it is about this scent but it made me happy and more like myself than I've felt in a while. My husband smelled me and complimented it (which doesn't always happen). The only sad part is that despite the claims that it lasts over 24 hours, it only lasted strongly for 30 minutes and then I had to search for it. I had to go to an outdoor event and with the heat and breeze this thing disappeared into nothing. I tried it on skin (weak), I tried it on clothes (weak). I did get a decant so perhaps there's that. Nevertheless and notwithstanding the poor longevity, I will be buying a FB of this because I love it. And anyway, I like to switch up my fragrance from day to night so this will allow me to do that. Edited to add: I need to repent of my original reports of weak longevity and sillage. I must have gotten a degraded or oxidized decant from someone who doesn't store fragrances properly. I sprayed this on my sweater and it lasted for hours. I went back to the sweater the next day and could still smell it quite well. It makes me so happy that this actually will last and project more than I originally thought!

It seems like people have really varied experiences in their wears, so this must be one that really depends on skin chemistry. To me this opens with a burst of bergamot and but predominantly a nice fresh spicy ginger note which reminds me of the ginger in Roger & Galets Ginger fragrance. As it settles on skin, the ginger remains prominent but you begin to get a shuttle facet of a cooling watery green tea- all freshness, no sugar. In the deep dry down this turns to a fresh clean musk and ginger with a hint of tea remaining. Quite pleasant, meditative, relaxing, not medicinal in its scent, but in the way it feels so relaxing. A good scent to wear if you're stressed or maybe a bit nauseous and need a calming fragrance to center on. I do not perceive anything powdery here personally. Quite nice.

There’s a serenity in its composition, a quiet elegance that deepens with every inhale. It’s not just a fragrance; it’s an experience. The more it lingers on my skin, the more I crave it. It evokes emotions I never imagined a scent could—pure, unfiltered joy.

I love this, it's so refreshing and beautiful. I like to put this on in the morning, very balanced and very enjoyable.

Matin de Jade is a concentrated cologne, an oriental tea with bergamot and ginger, but also with something soapy, clean, which I can't wait to test in the summer.

This fragrance is not at all citrusy or fresh. The main note for me was powdery. Disappointed.

I was surprised by the negative reviews here. I watch Jus de Rose on Youtube and she always recommends fragrances from this brand so I ordered some to try. This is a powdery ginger scent. Not very citrusy like others have said, more clean, elegant, spa vibes. I wore this to yoga and was happy with the little whiffs I kept getting. Def worth a try.

I love Entre Genres from this house as well as Les Mots Doux. I bought the I am Day discovery set which Matin De Jade came in. This is VERY Citrus Forward on my clothes and skin. Not well blended a bit screechy. It honestly reminds me of the shampoo my dogs groomer uses. Love the smell for my dogs. For myself not so much...
