Gold Standard

This is the richest and deepest fragrance in the collection. Blood orange, ginger, saffron, and caramel create a fragrance that somehow manages to feel both powerful and comforting at the same time. The opening is vibrant and energetic before settling into a smooth, luxurious dry down that feels warm, slightly spiced, and incredibly sophisticated. Several hours later this continued to have the strongest presence on my skin. The richness never becomes overwhelming, and every note feels beautifully balanced. If you enjoy fragrances with depth, warmth, and a polished, luxurious character, this one is absolutely stunning.

I received a free discovery set prior to the INFLUXIOUS launch for review purposes. That ginger! That spice! The fellas are going to love this one, but it is also a unisex scent. I don't pick up the citrus fruit definitively on my skin, but there is a bright zest and warmth. Everything is blended incredibly well. It smells expensive, slightly boozy, like you own every room you walk into. There is a bit of sweetness, likely from the caramel, vanilla, and tonka bean, that allows those who may not typically be ginger or saffron fans to enjoy this fragrance.

What truly sets Gold Standard apart is its refinement. Every stage of the fragrance unfolds seamlessly, creating an experience that feels both opulent and effortlessly wearable. The quality of the composition is evident throughout, with impressive longevity, refined projection, and a scent trail that leaves a memorable impression without overwhelming the room. This is for sure a 5-Star Experience!

I wanted to love this one so badly. It smelled absolutely divine on the tester, but unfortunately, on my skin it dried down and turned into a fruit cobbler situation... warm, spiced, baked fruit vibes. Gourmand lovers would probably appreciate that, but it’s just not what I want from a fragrance. I’m not completely giving up on it yet, though. I’ll give it another shot once the weather cools down to see if lower temperatures tame some of the spiced fruitiness. For now, it’s a pass.

This is beautiful but doesn’t project at all to me. I am going to declutter.
