Well Loved

This was my personal favorite of the collection. I quite literally cried when I smelled this because of the memories it brought back to me. The apricot feels soft and velvety rather than overly juicy, while magnolia and shea butter create one of the most beautiful creamy florals I’ve smelled in quite some time. It’s comforting, elegant, and beautifully balanced without ever feeling heavy. As it dries down, the shea butter becomes the star, creating the impression of incredibly soft, clean skin. This fragrance stayed with me for hours and had some of the strongest longevity in the collection while remaining refined and effortless. If you love creamy florals with warmth, elegance, and exceptional wear time, don’t skip this one.

I thought the reviewers talking about nostalgia and getting emotional over this fragrance were exaggerating. Nope. They were absolutely right. All the little girls who were moisturized from their scalp to their toes will recognize this feeling immediately. It takes me back to mothers and grandmothers who taught us self-care before we even knew to call it that... moisturizing our skin, doing our hair, putting us in our pretty clothes, and getting us dolled up for school, events and church. There’s something incredibly tender and familiar about Well Loved, but it doesn’t smell childish or dated. It feels like that same self-love ritual, just grown up, elevated, and sexy. This is something that will always be in my collection.

This is growing on me to the point of love. It is unlike anything else in my collection and smells like intense shea butter that you’d get from the farmers market or a spiritual store. The apricot is not sweet, but it is there as a strong supporting note. I don’t smell any other notes, but I enjoy that this is a new kind of skin scent—one I’d be more likely to smell like on a regular day. This is going to shine in the Fall.

This by far is my favorite in the line! The nostalgia I get from this fragrance is so beautiful! It truly is comforting and empowering at the same time! It radiates off my skin! It doesn't last as long as I would want it to, but I don't mind reapplying!

I am in love w the apricot, nutty and cream notes. My goodness.

Thankful to have gotten a travel size to start with, as first impressions (a few hours wear) are mehhh. I’m getting straight up SDJ 62 with a whisper of some tropical fruity designer like Fame. It was interesting to see all the content creators getting their PR at the same time and some were weirdly similar. The same theme kept coming up... “I became emotional” when smelling this. I’ll wear this one more to see how it develops, and I plan to purchase the discovery set when it’s back in stock, because I love Funmi and want to support her. However I can’t control how I interpret a fragrance and this is just my honest take on Well Loved.

I received a free discovery set prior to the launch for review purposes. Well Loved is a warm gourmand hug in a bottle... It is so creamy, clean and comforting. It made me nostalgic, reminding me of getting rubbed down with lotion and cocoa butter after bathtime as a child. It is a wear-every-day, year-round gourmand, but not syrupy sweet. The fuzzy apricot skin is everything. I was expecting a lot more spice with the cardamom, but it doesn't wear prominently on me. However, that Shea butter note is spot on in the best possible way! If you smell like this fresh out of the shower, it says, "I'm clean, moisturized, protected, and clearly well loved." I couldn't stop sniffing this! If you work in an environment that frowns upon strong scents in the workplace, I believe you can wear this confidently. I'm not usually one for skin scents, but Well Loved is my favorite of the 4, hands down!

Gorgeous and makes me excited to smell the rest of the launches. To the average Sephora customer I could see this being quite groundbreaking - to niche lovers this might be reminiscent of some other flor-mands like lancome Tubereuses Castane or WWDIS made in heaven. All super gorg and the price point on this is significantly less than those so kudos to funmi for making a gorgeous yummy very niche smelling fragrance and bringing that to the masses. I wish her so much success!! This is verrry buttery sweet and the combo buttercream and shea almost gives a white chocolate effect. There’s an almost readiness and then just sweet and ripe heady white florals. Just lovely.

My favorite from the line up! Super pretty and warm. The opening smells like an orange tootsie pop (a tiktok influencer said this and its spot on), which i assume is the apricot? Then it gets warmer and creamier throughout the wear and you can totally smell the shea butter. The deep dry down is floral and where i smell the magnolia! Similar vibes to Fleur Eclair from RDF but not the same.

This smells really good! Honestly, it smells like when I layer Byredo Mojave Ghost with Mix:Bar Whipped Almond. It's a really homey, nostalgic scent.
