I really like this fragrance. Uncompromisingly about vetiver. Opens with that wet stone/cement to drier flint/gunpowder facets, into a plume of slightly moist, autumnal leaf mulch being burned. It's kinda fresh and alive underneath that orchard floor though, not quite green but just nice. Dries down a bit cleaner and more cedar maybe some synthetic woods come out, it's very warm and lovely as a skin scent. Performance being acceptable but surprisingly not amazing considering how it goes on and projects early on. Now having dabbled in perfumery recently I can say that vetiver is one of my go to materials. I have smelled several different types and they are very changeable and superb in their own right. The isolate I'm using at the moment is vetiveryl acetate and as much as I liked vetiver before I embarked on making my own perfumes, it wasn't the material I was itching to get cracking with. I favoured stuff like the rockstars of Rose, Iris, Oud....etc... which in hindsight are actually very hard to get right and it's a costly learning curve. In any case, Vetiver has become one of my favourite basenotes and I have a newly reinvigorated love of it shall we say. Also I can see just how special this composition is, because it's quite hard to minimally compliment and support the smokey, earthy tones of vetiver. I think this does a really good job with the top notes.

Divine Attraction is increasingly becoming one of my favorites. It is so underrated! Probably because the fragrance notes are not complete. There is definitely violet and definitely incense within its composition. I think that is what gives the fragrance it's sweetness and creaminess. I thought for sure this fragrance would be very earthy, aromatic and woody. Although those characteristics are there, it is very subtle. I love Vetiver because it can transform into many different identities. This one is almost like walking into a nature store that has incense Burning next to handmade patchouli soap. But without putting it to your face. Everything is very subtle. This entire brand is so intoxicatingly sexy.

I absolutely love this. It reminds me of an authentic Medieval castle I used to visit as a child. Smoky, animalic, raw and a little daunting. It’s a very dark fragrance that doesn’t try to be loved. It veres masculine but can be unisex. Ohhhh I loveeeeeeeeee it. It kind of reminds me of a rugged and bearded knight. Someone who would sit on Arthur’s table and drink copious pourings of red wine.

It is an expensive fragrance, and it is not bad. It must cost a lot, by my opinion. It is strong! It is leather and woody fragrance. It is the fragrance for men and for women. I can smell birch tar, vetiver. It is hard to characterize this fragrance. You need to try it before buying.

So masculine, leathery, animalic, so divine! In addition to leather and vetiver, I also get the scents of salty ambergris, pheromone musk, incense, and ginger. The longevity is very long, and the sillage is enormous. Suitable for night events in cold seasons.

Respect for the perfumer.... This is a very rich, dark, masculine scent but its not annoying or cloying in any way. Good performance. Be careful, it only start doing its job when its on the skin. Do not judge this one on paper. MASTERPIECE

The vetiver used here is super smoky and the scent is true masculine. Great one.

Very nice vetiver and frankincense, with a chocolate-y patchouli and leather in the background, and even a subtle cherry-esque tobacco. The drydown is about a beautiful earthy dry vetiver. This leather/vetiver combo has already been explored in frags like TT Ursa, Kilian StH and Gucci GA, but here it takes a different direction, with some sweetness in the heart and dryness in the base. Does it deserves its price tag? Imo: no. Even at discounters pricing (~$180/90ml). It’s a step up compared to PdM, but still a bit too mainstream-quality to play in that price league, and below average performance, unacceptable at that price point. (The reason it’ll only get a like from me) Still, if just considering the scent, it’s a pleasant surprise after the disappointing Rehab, and I will keep an eye on pricing. When it’ll go below the $100 bar, I will reconsider it. In the meanwhile, there are much more interesting frags in that price range to explore. Glad I got a hard discounted decant. Colder seasons, 30+ Edit: I got my hands on AdO Cuir Sacre, which is very close, and does a better job for cheaper (at disocunters).

Dont know how about dirty or steamy orgy, or any attraction or violent fantasies - on my skin it opened up very much so like a Church incense, and when i mention Church - its the orthodox one, with smoke and pine wood smell, maybe just a hint of white pepper. literally. If any divinity is present its definitely a good one, not "dark" or "sexy" or whatever. Overall scent is great, i cant say its synthetic, smells smooth, not a lot of development. it stays same from beginning to end, but it stays for a long time and projects within acceptable limits. what i would suggest doing - is mixing this - and magnetic blend 1. Once you do that - THEN it will turn into something "sexy" and "dirty" and all that :D Those magnetic blends are more so to layer with their main line, rather than wear on its own, and that salty, rather poopy ambergris does do magic when layered with Divine attraction. Overall - in my books - this scent is one of the better ones from the line. smells most natural and with MB1 creates great scent.

Leathery, church incense, green, and a touch of sweetness, not in that order since it depends on who is wearing it. The tale of two skin... I tried this scent on myself and my friend at the same time to see how it developed on our skin. He is male and me being female... not that gender should matter. My skin tamed the incense quite quickly and become a background note with a sweet leathery scent being most dominant. There were also hint of green but was also subtle also. It wore more as a skin scent for me and I really enjoyed it. Meanwhile my friend smelled quite strong of church incense If I were wearing a blindfold, I would have guessed he was a catholic priest who had performed a few masses that day and was overindulgent in the incense. This lasted many hours with good longevity however no other notes seemed to come through. Great scent to try and see how your skin reacts.

Proprio non mi ricorda per niente knize ten (che uso dal 1989) spruzzato sulla pelle trovo che è molto molto simile a KINSKI.

So dissapointed with this one. I love the brand but this just smells like generic aftershave to me. I just get vetiver and a lot of lavender although it isn't listed. Smells like Yardley soap. No leather, no mystical smokiness, nothing :(

Something about Initio fragrances gives me a dentist/doctors office smell. They don’t smell bad, but I can’t get with smelling like gloves at the hospital. This does gives me a lil fireplace smell which I like, but other than that it’s a no. 5/10 not for me

This started off too masculine for me - more than likely the hard hit of vetiver. Then it settled down and was a nice fragrance, but still a little more on the masculine side for me.

I've to say that nothing about Initio Parfums catches my interest. Their whole aesthetic and the style of their fragrances remind me too much of a whatever arabic-inspired insta-niche brand. A sort of early-Kilian wannabe but with less focus on marketing. Divine Attraction makes an exception though. I was honestly expecting a bold animalic leather but with much of my surprise what I got was a simple and yet very striking leathery-vetiver with industrial facets. Think about an hypothetical love-child between Comme Des Garcons Tar and Garage with a bit of Knize Sec thrown in and you get the picture. So, nothing really animalic or *human* here. This is all about rubbery vetiver and smoky leather turning soon into a clean (almost aseptic) woody-incensey base. The fragrance opens quite brutally with an arresting leather note akin at a motor-oil type of accord. In this phase Divine Attraction feels very industrial and daring but it tames down pretty soon unveiling a smooth and somewhat less interesting drydown based on the cleanest vetiver and other smartly dosed woody notes. Again, very simple and surely overpriced but, at least, not as clicheted as I would have expected. Very nice, after all, even though I find its life-span a bit too short. It starts very promising but it dies down way too soon. With that said, if you're drown to modern industrial fragrances, Divine Attraction is worth a sniff. Rating: 7/10

Just 2 beautiful notes : old leather & frankincense ! But obviously not for everyone & not for compliment gathering . First you apply it an old leather with some smokiness comes out and as time goes on smokiness fades and frankincense comes to ring and with old leather plays a really nice game . this is totally bitter perfume and leather here is different from famous leather base perfume like acqua di parma colonia leather or TF obmre leather and as they goes to sweet direction this goes to bitter and old type direction. Its linear and has a good performance in my dry skin and as i said before frankincense here is prominent (maybe come from vetiver but to my nose its really like frankincense) and at the end of game frankincense is only player (at this time you can get some sweetness from frankincense) Simple ,bitter ,masculine and serious .

I know Initio Parfums may have not that required originality and creativity but it seems that the brand follows a certain and intentional route in its perfumes. A kind of diabolical ambience and mottos are seen in this brand and its works. May seem crazy... My fantasy about this perfume: The smell of a wild and steamy orgy in a dark, dirty and mysterious underground chamber in a dreadful gothic castle. ---- The juice opens with a sharp and strong nasty smell. The drydown smells like rough and raw leather plus a dirty vetiver-like note. There seems to be other notes that are not mentioned. It smells dirty and nasty as K1 said like an unwashed body perhaps. Generally it smells unpleasant buy I know it can be appealing for those who wished to be in that wild orgy mentioned above!
