Lift Me Up

First Impressions (in 90 degree heat): The opening is bright, fresh and clean. The bergamot is very uplifting. My immediate thought was ‘this would be a perfect summertime fresh musky scent.’ After about 20 minutes the opening faded and transitioned to magnolia and ylang ylang. It still smelled clean, but like a beachy, tropical version of clean. After the opening and early mid, Lift Me Up gets significantly sweeter. Ylang ylang becomes more prominent and has a creamy (very short lived) banana-esque smell. Vanilla and roasted tonka are super gourmand in the base and have a thick, lactonic, custard quality. The vanilla custard dry down is still going strong 8 hours later. It almost makes me think of using a very strong vanilla cupcake scented body lotion and spraying TF Eau de Soleil Blanc on top. To me this is not similar to Blanche Bete, which smells strongly of coconut, but isn’t tropical. Lift Me Up is a tropical vanilla with no coconut. The dry down is like a much more wearable Ylang in Gold. After doing full wears with a decant: the opening seems to transition more quickly- sometimes it goes immediately into Ylang/Vanilla. I no longer notice any banana quality to the Ylang. Purchased for full retail with no regrets.

I chose this as one of my complimentary 10ml "samples" (very generous compared to a typical sample) with my first order from Initio - just got it with my full bottle of Musk Therapy. I love them both! Lift Me Up is definitely floral to my nose - the magnolia is prominent but not overwhelming or heavy. The musk/vanilla/tonka gives it a soft sweetness that manages NOT to lean too far into the syrupy vanilla gourmands that I don't care for. (For reference, I love Eau Duelle by Diptyque, and it's one of the few vanillas I own and wear.) I totally get the summery, beachy references, but I don't detect coconut; rather, it's a warm, creamy floral. Perhaps it's not extraordinary or unique, but it is well-balanced, easy to wear, and delicious! To me it's neither screechy nor loud which I appreciate, yet it's THERE and does seem to last for several hours. I struggle to find perfumes that are light and airy and yet have some longevity, and this seems to fit that bill for me. Will keep trying for a few days but this may be my Summer 2026 scent!

I didn’t expect this to be this addictive. On my skin, Lift Me Up is not citrusy at all — it opens creamy, almost milky, with a soft floral nuance that feels like magnolia and warm skin rather than a classic “fresh” perfume. The magic happens in the drydown. It becomes a clean, musky, slightly sweet skin scent — but elevated. Not shampoo-clean, not sunscreen, not gourmand... something in between. Like expensive body care, but with depth and character. What I love most is how it projects: it doesn’t scream, but it pulls people in. It’s the kind of scent that gets noticed up close — subtle but very addictive. It feels feminine, modern and effortlessly sexy. Not in an obvious way, but in a “what is that smell?” way. On me, longevity is impressive for this type of scent — it lingers on the skin even after showering. Perfect for summer evenings, warm skin, and moments where you want to smell clean but unforgettable.

This fragrance is so great I had to buy it the second i smelled it. It is decently versatile and imo it can be easily worn all year round. It lasts me all day if I had to estimate about 8-10 hours and projects the whole time without being too strong. It projects about a few feet and will not choke anyone out but people will smell you. The only problem I have with it is the price, about 450 dollars is a bit much but is worth it if you have the money. It smells a bit feminine at the 1st spray which personally doesn't bother me but dries down to be a lot more unisex. Smell wise it smells like orange blossom, vanilla and musk with some florals and reminds me of pdm Altair ln the dry down and Kilian Love Don't me shy at first spray which are 2 great fragrances and its different enough where if you have both of those getting this one is still worth it. 10/10 performance, 10/10 longevity and 9.5/10 smell.

This is such an amazing surprise. It was love at first sniff. This is now my favorite from the Initio lineup. It is feminity in a bottle. I do not gravitate to florals but the opening of magnolia and bergamot is just bright creamy and uplifting. The Tonka brings a cozy creamy constancy throughout and brings an elevated note - not a cloying sweetness alongside the vanilla. I have been using this everyday and already bought a backup. It stands on its own and also layers well with just about everything. Although I know I go nose blind to it after an hour I am positive it is still going strong because I have been getting compliments from everyone everywhere I go. If you think it’s weak I hereto say it is not. This is the perfect floral creamy vanilla for those who dislike heavy florals. It is creeping in the gourmand territory and is dabbing its toes. It’s perfect and now my signature scent.
