Lift Me Up

First Impressions (in 90 degree heat): The opening is bright, fresh and clean. The bergamot is very uplifting. My immediate thought was ‘this would be a perfect summertime fresh musky scent.’ After about 20 minutes the opening faded and transitioned to magnolia and ylang ylang. It still smelled clean, but like a beachy, tropical version of clean. After the opening and early mid, Lift Me Up gets significantly sweeter. Ylang ylang becomes more prominent and has a creamy (very short lived) banana-esque smell. Vanilla and roasted tonka are super gourmand in the base and have a thick, lactonic, custard quality. The vanilla custard dry down is still going strong 8 hours later. It almost makes me think of using a very strong vanilla cupcake scented body lotion and spraying TF Eau de Soleil Blanc on top. To me this is not similar to Blanche Bete, which smells strongly of coconut, but isn’t tropical. Lift Me Up is a tropical vanilla with no coconut. The dry down is like a much more wearable Ylang in Gold. After doing full wears with a decant: the opening seems to transition more quickly- sometimes it goes immediately into Ylang/Vanilla. I no longer notice any banana quality to the Ylang. Purchased for full retail with no regrets.

I chose this as one of my complimentary 10ml "samples" (very generous compared to a typical sample) with my first order from Initio - just got it with my full bottle of Musk Therapy. I love them both! Lift Me Up is definitely floral to my nose - the magnolia is prominent but not overwhelming or heavy. The musk/vanilla/tonka gives it a soft sweetness that manages NOT to lean too far into the syrupy vanilla gourmands that I don't care for. (For reference, I love Eau Duelle by Diptyque, and it's one of the few vanillas I own and wear.) I totally get the summery, beachy references, but I don't detect coconut; rather, it's a warm, creamy floral. Perhaps it's not extraordinary or unique, but it is well-balanced, easy to wear, and delicious! To me it's neither screechy nor loud which I appreciate, yet it's THERE and does seem to last for several hours. I struggle to find perfumes that are light and airy and yet have some longevity, and this seems to fit that bill for me. Will keep trying for a few days but this may be my Summer 2026 scent!

I didn’t expect this to be this addictive. On my skin, Lift Me Up is not citrusy at all — it opens creamy, almost milky, with a soft floral nuance that feels like magnolia and warm skin rather than a classic “fresh” perfume. The magic happens in the drydown. It becomes a clean, musky, slightly sweet skin scent — but elevated. Not shampoo-clean, not sunscreen, not gourmand... something in between. Like expensive body care, but with depth and character. What I love most is how it projects: it doesn’t scream, but it pulls people in. It’s the kind of scent that gets noticed up close — subtle but very addictive. It feels feminine, modern and effortlessly sexy. Not in an obvious way, but in a “what is that smell?” way. On me, longevity is impressive for this type of scent — it lingers on the skin even after showering. Perfect for summer evenings, warm skin, and moments where you want to smell clean but unforgettable.

This fragrance is so great I had to buy it the second i smelled it. It is decently versatile and imo it can be easily worn all year round. It lasts me all day if I had to estimate about 8-10 hours and projects the whole time without being too strong. It projects about a few feet and will not choke anyone out but people will smell you. The only problem I have with it is the price, about 450 dollars is a bit much but is worth it if you have the money. It smells a bit feminine at the 1st spray which personally doesn't bother me but dries down to be a lot more unisex. Smell wise it smells like orange blossom, vanilla and musk with some florals and reminds me of pdm Altair ln the dry down and Kilian Love Don't me shy at first spray which are 2 great fragrances and its different enough where if you have both of those getting this one is still worth it. 10/10 performance, 10/10 longevity and 9.5/10 smell.

This is such an amazing surprise. It was love at first sniff. This is now my favorite from the Initio lineup. It is feminity in a bottle. I do not gravitate to florals but the opening of magnolia and bergamot is just bright creamy and uplifting. The Tonka brings a cozy creamy constancy throughout and brings an elevated note - not a cloying sweetness alongside the vanilla. I have been using this everyday and already bought a backup. It stands on its own and also layers well with just about everything. Although I know I go nose blind to it after an hour I am positive it is still going strong because I have been getting compliments from everyone everywhere I go. If you think it’s weak I hereto say it is not. This is the perfect floral creamy vanilla for those who dislike heavy florals. It is creeping in the gourmand territory and is dabbing its toes. It’s perfect and now my signature scent.

This one took me by surprise! I received a sample with another purchase and ignored it for a while thinking "oh another vanilla". Then I sprayed it on my skin and I was in heaven. It's so perfectly blended and creates the most divine sillage. The vanilla is a supporting character here and Ylang and Magnolia turn it into something special. Tonka beans give it coziness and depth. I went through the sample in a couple of days and just couldn't stop thinking about it. I wore it out running errands and received multiple compliments. This smells expensive and I do feel uplifted when I wear it. It's also PERFECT for layering with a range of scents. I found it for an excellent price and have barely stopped wearing it since. 10/10 it also lasts all day! I'm in Australia so it is winter right now and it is gorgeous to wear for the solar feel. Highly recommend

I got a sample of this in, and I am absolutely in love!😍 this is such a happy citrus musky vanilla sunshine in a bottle🙌🏻 When I smell it, I instantly think of being at the beach on a bright sunny day. The most important person in my life is coming out of the ocean and embracing me in a big hug🤗 I thought this would be similar to musk therapy because that also has a lot of musk and Bergamot but that perfume is more creamy thick clean cloud musk and Lift Me Up is definitely more of a skin musk in my opinion. It reminds me most of La nuit tresor nude and coconut sun. However coconut sun is more fresh and leaning in sunscreen territory and La Nuit Tresor nude is more creamy and has a rose note. BUT they both have that very happy citrus vanilla sunshine in a bottle quality just like this perfume and I can’t get enough of it!😍☀️

This has quickly become one of my favorite fragrances. It has a luxurious, creamy feel. The floral and citrus notes combine with the vanilla and tonka to create a tropical vibe. The ylang-ylang is very subdued for me - there are no indolic floral notes. This is calming and addictive. I don’t get much evolution from this fragrance - the initial few minutes is exactly what you get in the drydown. I didn’t get to try this on skin before I bought a full bottle (just on a strip), so I didn’t know how it’d perform. After testing it once it arrived, it’s still going strong and projecting 1-2 feet 14 hours later, so I get great performance. This is signature scent worthy and can easily be worn all year round despite its beachy aspects. I love it!! Edit: this was still on my skin over 24 hours later. it's eternal

Lift Me Up feels like a beautiful midpoint between Carolina Herrera Cedar Chic, Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musc Blanc and Blanche Bete. It carries the airy polished woods and refined softness of Cedar Chic, blended with the fluffy clean white musk aura of Pure Musc Blanc and the lactonic notes of Blanche Bete. The result is a scent that feels effortlessly upscale, smooth, and luminous. What makes Lift Me Up different is the creamy solar warmth running through it — giving the fragrance a sunlit, almost velvety glow without losing that elegant airy texture. It smells like soft clean musk wrapped in creamy light rather than a heavy gourmand or dense floral, thus the similarity to Blanche Bete. The overall effect is luxurious, breezy, comforting, and very modern. My new favorite from Initio!

She is my signature scent. This is the epitome of a beautiful, clean , floral, sweet and creamy perfume. I have been in the hunt for a perfume that captures all of these traits and almost cried when I smelled it. You can smell every note that is listed, but yet all of them being well balanced with one another. Musk therapy was my signature scent and Lift me up dethroned that excellent and beautiful perfume . I am a nurse and have never received so may compliments by so many of my patients . This is definitely such a femenine scent that is such an easy grab and ca be used all year long . Thank you Initio for creating a memory for me that focuses on happiness and tranquility. That is exactly what I strive to embody and Lift me up describes me perfectly .

Just received this. It has that signature Initio touch that all the Initio white bottles have. I can't explain it but they all have a certain similar something. I can definitely pick up the tonka bean, vanilla and musk. The tonka bean smells toasted somehow. The florals are only in the opening. I was initially worried about the magnolia but it's not too "white floral-y" if that makes any sense (not too thick or creamy). The bergamot is light and doesn't last beyond the opening as well. Overall, I do love this but not at the level I love Paragon and Musk Therapy. I am planning to layer this with Mind Games Queening - I find them to be somewhat similar.

I have been using this every day the last couple of weeks, and every time I have worn another perfume I'm sad I did't put on this instead. It's sort of like when you have decided on a man you want to marry... I'm not really sure why I like this as much, I tend to prefer somewhat more fresh scents, this is quite sweet, but so gentle, tender and super enjoyable. It dosent nessesaraly lift me up, but it grounds me and calm me down. It's beautiful. But I'm also a bit sad, I love perfume, have many and like to alternate between seasons and moods. Maybe its just a fase, but for now this is the one and only, something I've never experienced before.

Sweet vanilla, creamy florals, powdery musk, warm tonka. This smells so beautiful. It is an airy and feminine magnolia fragrance with a gourmand vanilla dry down that is light enough for warm weather wear. I personally do not get much of the ylang ylang or the bergamot. This is definitely a compliment getter. This lasts about 5 hours on skin and all day on clothes. I have really been enjoying layering this with “santal calling” in the evening to give this a little more depth and to play up the creaminess in the magnolia. I have also been loving it layered with “sand and skin” to lean into its tropical notes for summer.

Perfect blend of cozy and bright. I get the summer vibes they were going for, but it's also so warm and cozy. Bright magnolia in the opening and powdery warm tonka and vanilla in the dry down. On me it sits pretty close to the skin but it still there after 12 hours smelling the same as after two. It reminds me a bit of Diptyques papier but without the strong rice accord. I sprayed gucci flora gorgeous magnolia next to it to compare the magnolia sent and they go beautifully together. Will definitely be layering those two for fun again .

As soon as I understood what vibe it's supposed to give off I started loving it. Even if there is no coconut in the notes, it is a coconut milk-y vanilla fragrance. It's not just sweet niche perfumery vanilla like Gentle fluidity. Also it is a beast of a fragrance in my experience. It stays until you scrub it off. I would say you can overdo it for sure. But I recommend pairing it with something like Cheirosa 39 or any coconut body spray. It is like an expensive holiday beach promenade walk in a white dress🍦

This begs to be worn in warm weather: 70s and above. It blooms in heat- angelic florals, and a rich, creamy custard vanilla. It’s such a perfect girly, happy, beach goddess type of fragrance. On my skin it never veers into tropical florals or sunscreen territory- just bright, vacation, vanilla clean. A montage of sunshine, palm trees, driving a convertible; the Lyrah cover of Everywhere and more Indie synth pop plays in the background. It really does ‘Lift Me Up’ every time I wear it.

I’ve been using it for about a month now. It reminds me of a softer, more wearable, and slightly fresher take on Hypnotic Poison EDT—still very much a warm, ambery feminine scent at its core. That said, it leans more toward a polished designer profile rather than something truly niche or distinctive. I wouldn’t necessarily call it unique or exceptional. However, it’s undeniably pleasing and uplifting—a safe, reliable fragrance that consistently puts me in a good mood.

I own rehab and musk therapy and I have to say that THIS is my favorite. The only way I can describe it is that it feels like a hug in the soft spring sun. There is something snuggly about this that shines in the dry down.. Amazing warm sweet comfort but not in a heavy way.. This is uplifting as the name says and a feel good perfume.. Unisex and absolutely addictive. After 5 minutes it shines and lasts on your clothes for days. Skin for about 10 hours. Amazing gem.

I usually gravitate towards heavy, woody, leather, complex scents. I have been wanting a summery day to night fragrance that isn’t putrid floral or obnoxiously sweet/bright. This scent nails it. I can’t stop smelling myself, it makes me feel like I’m glowing with the fragrance. 11/10 perfection for my chemistry. I bought the 1.6oz bc honestly I can’t remember finishing a bottle of perfume. So price point for luxury brand/ingredients felt reasonable.

Definitely feminine, but smells great. I used to have a magnolia tree and I love the smell of it when it blooms. This is a great magnolia and ylang focused sent, with a lovely, light vanilla drydown. Tried it at Selfridges, left the store and started walking towards Hyde park when I caught the most angelic, soft waft of the prettiest florals I’ve ever smelt, floating on a gorgeous cloud of musk. I stopped instantly, turned around, went back and picked her up. This is only the second time I’ve ever bought a fragrance on the spot. An incredible release. I’m completely in love.

I must say, i really like this one. I found a surprising layering combo and now i cannot get enough of this. Lift me up + Fleur De Peau = heaven! It somehow gives it more depth. I got compliments on this. It is definitely positive scent. Uplifting, beautiful and modern. Not too much not too little. Just the right amount of everything. Love!

I love this scent. It's got a similar airy quality to musk therapy for me. Light floral, little musky, powdery... It's super wearable and couldn't see it offending at work, or other occasion. I can't bring myself to buy a full bottle at full price, but have already purchased my second 5ml sample til I can hopefully find a sale/discount.

I honestly love it! The name Lift me Up makes sense and the conversation around sunshine is very accurate. It definitely put a smile on my face. I get fruity and musky vibes and for some reason coconut as well. I think it would wear perfectly in spring and summer. It’s not a cheap syrupy sweet perfume, it has substance to it.

I am in love with this. To me this smells very much like I wanted Irfe Marshmallow Musk to smell like. It’s sweet, musky and has a touch of floral. It’s just goodness and I get about 10-12 hours from it. It’s my current favorite scent. I don’t have many back-up bottles but I’m tempted to get one of this!

Absolutely loved this scent when I first smelled it, the only issue is it is feminine leaning and harder to pull off as a male. It is really beautiful though. I think this is sooo good to layer with, I like to layer this with Terre d Hermes’ parfum and it might be the best layering of all time.

"Lifts me up!" literally! ELEVATION In the feels- Dopamine helper. Addictive vanilla and tonka sweetness, Wear all year long??? You can SAY THAT again! It's SOOO creamy & reminds me of sun warmed skin after sunbathing in suntan lotion; contains a creamy sweet essence & as I stated, elevation.

I love Lift Me Up! Got a sneak peek at Neiman's before it was released, and I couldn't stop thinking about it. I had to have a full bottle. It is a gorgeous scent. The tonka, Ylang Ylang and vanilla just offer the sweetest scent bubble. It is truly pretty and very feminine.

@jcmolina described this so well! I would like to add that i pick up on an almond note. I just checked Initio’s website & the pyramid notes listed has roasted tonka instead of just “regular” tonka...maybe that’s what I’m picking up. Nonetheless it is so so so beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful scent profile, creamy magnolia with a touch of lipstick in the best way, I'm not getting much citrus at all, this is 100% an ultra feminine fragrance. longevity and projection aren't in line with the cost of the fragrance though

This is a really nice bright citrusy vanilla! There is a warm musk underneath that pulls more creamy and cozy on my skin than powdery, which I was very happy about. I'm usually a powdery vanilla hater, but this one is perfectly sunny and light.

Reminds me of SOEIL BLANC by Tom Ford or Bal D Afrique. It’s a little feminine but still unisex. Kindof gourmand without being immature. I really like it. Maybe the best from this house.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

How can people say this has moderate sillage is beyond me. This is beast of a fragrance with tons of vanilla absolute. Probably the highest quality vanilla/ylang ylang fragrance I've smelled.

Warm, cozy, gentle like a hug. Really nice! not boring, not offensive. Thoughfully done. Really solid, nice perfume. Trying the sample i got with my other perfume purchase.

This one is so good, it’s not close to anything I already own and I have about 200 bottles. I definitely want to add it to my collection. Very soft, feminine and safe.

The most gentle, enveloping and enchanting scent and so comforting. So delicate and beautiful without being overly flowery. I feel like a fairy when wearing it.

Lift me up officially dedicated itself to a different kind of luxury. $430 is excruciatingly expensive. More expensive than amouage. More expensive than Clive Christian. And why? I'm curious to find out. I decided to purchase a sample and this is my opinion. I would consider this introductory niche. It is high quality, but I wouldn't necessarily consider this art in a bottle. If Victoria's Secret created this I would not be surprised. I do consider this feminine and I don't typically say that. I think this was done intentionally because the fragrance itself more or less screams of target audience. The actual art of the fragrance has been taken out and replaced with quite obvious focus group. And that target audience is younger/middle age women. Beautiful women in the summer. There is a creaminess that I do like in this fragrance, but there are no obvious lactonic notes. I believe the vanilla and the Tonka blended with the ylang has constructed that overall feeling. Make no mistake about it, this is summer. Belligerent. You cannot mistake this for something else. And perhaps that is what I don't like about it. I don't like that I cannot put my own spin on it. That I cannot experience different emotions when I wear it. This is so precise that I cannot make it or take it for anything else. I am being harsh, but I believe it is warranted because of the price. You are not even getting 100 mL. You are getting 90 mL and I find that rather cheap. I will say, however, it does last and it does have great sillage. It also matches the brand identity quite well. If you are a huge fan of the brand, you will most likely enjoy this as well. I am not saying that it is not a good fragrance. I am saying it is very much on the introductory side. And for that price, I personally expect more. But this will have an audience. And I do enjoy it when it is on and I am not looking for something in particular. It is a dumb reach for the hot hot summer.

Something about initio, the quality is always great and i suppose with the high price it might as well be, however .. this offering is cotton candy to the nose, it opens up with almost a bug spray harsh odor that quickly takes shape into a very beautiful vanilla and florals .. i also now realize that what i thought was an earthy facet of "high frequency by initio" .. was actually the magnolia .. but here it serves a different purpose .. it's less of an earthy edge as it is a chocolatey feel to an otherwise creamy and lactonic/sweet body of a scent .. im also quite sure i've come across body lotions in the same DNA .. anyway, it's pleasant .. not neccassarily full bottle worth it for me but definitely loved the sample i have ..

My grandma says it smells like cake. That just sums it up! When I first smelled it on tester strip, it reminded me of a vanilla alcohol that you would use in a mixed drink. One of the reps from initio was there for their release of can't get enough at a Nordstrom near me but they were also able to get my nose on lift me up. They told me the vanilla can come off coconutty which made total sense why it smelled like it had coconut eventhough its not listed. I don't drink but it smells like how I think Malibu rum taste like. Bc of the vanilla and relation to coconut they both have this sweet creamy texture that is prominent in this scent profile

I received a 5 ml sample of Lift Me Up from Saks after purchasing a full bottle of Can’t Get Enough, and I was immediately struck by how closely it echoes Blanche Bête, but without the sweetness. It opens as a smooth, creamy lactonic fragrance that melts beautifully into the skin. The dry down is absolutely stunning but departs from the Blanche Bete DNA. It smells like warm, sun‐kissed skin. It is creamy but slightly salty and musky. It’s understated, elegant, and effortlessly chic. The projection it very intimate and the longevity it just okay. I wish the perfume was a bit stronger.
