Narcotic Delight

10/10 fragrance in my honest opinion *Skip to the DAY 3 for my last and final impressions* I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to buy a pre-released bottle and I must say, I am really loving this stuff. I’ve never paid that much for a fragrance but I really just wanted to be apart of the exclusivity and the notes looked good lol. It was worth it. I’m no expert with fragrance reviews but I have an insanely high bar when it comes to fragrances I love and this is one of them. I prefer this over Side Effect, Argos Triumph of Bacchus, Amouage Royal Tobacco, Precious Liquid Tobacco Royal, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, PDM Herod (old batch red juice and new batch clear), and every other Initio fragrance I’ve tried. DAY 1- First impressions after opening the box and instantly spraying myself: Juicy cherry that dries down to a creamy sweet vanilla with maybe a hint of tobacco. I was getting heavy Side Effect vibes. Honestly the performance was subpar in every category too. I of course planned to give it a few more wears but I had already decided to sell it if it didn’t change. DAY 2- The second wear was pretty much the same thing but the tobacco was coming in stronger once it started to dry. Still similar to Side Effect but I sprayed it multiple times that day and it was slowly becoming its own thing as the tobacco came in more. DAY 3- Mannn what in the world. This stuff is now in my top 10 all time favorites and wasn’t even in my top 50 just a day before. The peppery tobacco is coming in crazy strong at the beginning and sticks around for a hour (maybe longer idk) before drying down to that sweet, juicy, creamy, smooth cherry vanilla with that light tobacco sticking around pretty much the whole time. 10/10 fragrance in my honest opinion. Also the performance has moved up from subpar to the “long lasting” category with a moderate to large scent bubble. I can’t say it’s eternal or nuclear since my #1 favorite is LV Ombré Nomade and that’s what I call eternal and nuclear. -Sample first -Don’t pay the retail price -Give it at least 3 days and 10-12 sprays before final judgment

Personal: 9/10 - I love this one. Smooth, intoxicating, warm and luxurious. Mass appeal: 7.5/10 - While gorgeous, it's still a very bold blend. The boozy sweetness may be a bit cloying to some. Performance: 8/10 - Strong and long lasting. Projects quite well. Value: 6.5/10 - Initio has steep pricing, but the quality and artistry make it justifiable. Uniqueness: 8/10 - Familiar boozy sweet tobacco, but elevated with Initio's richness. SCORE: 78/100 Full bottle buy? YES, despite its price, it's one of my favorite Initio releases. Blind buy? NO, it's too bold and expensive to gamble on. Recommend? YES, especially if you love the spicy Sauvage Elixir DNA. Date night? YES, this is perfect for dates. Seductive without being too cloying. Office safe? NO, it's a bit too bold and spicy for professional settings. Pros: Luxurious seductive and powerful. Warm, boozy, and sweet. Cons: Expensive. It's too bold for daily use. This has a very similar opening to Sauvage Elixir, but with more boozy sweetness, and less warm spice to carry it. The spiciness is there, but it's less shouty than Sauvage Elixir, with more refinement and more of the intoxicating complexity you'd expect from Initio. It's very well polished, beautifully blended, and a reasonable purchase at its current prices. I don't own a bottle yet, but one day I probably will. A sweet, boozy seduction. Many of the people leaving reviews here write about perfumes that are fake! I highly recommend that you get to know a certain brand of perfume well before you buy it, look on the internet and YouTube what are the signs of an original and a fake perfume, because without knowing it you leave false presentations because of the fake perfumes you bought, that's how you deceive people! An authentic product will never let you down and smell bad! An authentic product may not like you, but it will never smell bad! Almost the entire series of Initio, Parfums de Marly, Nishane and others will never smell bad! Many people simply do not know that they are deceived by perfume sellers who claim to sell you original perfumes, but they are fake! You can never buy an original niche perfume worth less than $ 120! If you have been fooled into believing someone who sells you Initio for $90 and claims it is original, that is why you give fake reviews and people are confused and don't know what to buy! The fact that many people have narrow and tight hearts and don't give you, for example, $250-500 for perfume is your problem! At least don't write reviews if you are not sure that your perfume is authentic, because you are confusing people! And everyone around the world who makes fake perfumes and their clones in laboratories and factories deserve to be sentenced to a solid fine and prison!!!

Im gonna start off by saying I think this is stupidly overpriced but I'm just that kinda guy that will buy this shit regardles. As for the fragrance itself, this has ticked all the boxes that I wanted in looking for my first niche fragrance. Its sweet but dark and masculine. Something I can only wear on a very special occasion, or a late night date. The cherry isnt a SUPER sweet cherry however more like a dark cherry thats still sweet but not doing too much. The dry down on this is absolutely gorgeous aswell you get that Cognac note that is boozy but just a very tiny bit sweet which is something Ive always been looking for as im not a massive fan of boozy scents but I just love the way it is done in this fragrance. Do I prefer Paragon? Kinda but I have Vintage Radio by Lattafa which smells extremely similar to paragon. However tho my aim for buying my first niche was to have a fragrance that I would only use on special occasions and something that I could appreciate instead of having something more versatile unlike paragon which is a more versatile fragrance imo. Anyways overall im ecstatic with my pickup regardless of the price and im so glad its my first niche. 9.8/10

I get nothing but cherry cola at first. The longer it sits on my skin, the more the tobacco comes out, and Narcotic Delight settles into something deeply sexy but more masculine than I was expecting. The tobacco note in this is dry to my nose, not quite smoky. Imagine a cigar with the flame almost touching it, peripherally heating it to the exact second before it starts to smoke. That’s what I get. It’s really nice. I can’t put my finger on what this is similar to. I’m sure it’ll come to me eventually, probably right after I submit this review. I’m a big fan of cherry fragrances, and this did not scratch that itch for me, so I think my disappointment in that regard might be clouding my judgement a little. I’ll probably be ordering a small decant to test it out a few more times before giving an exact rating. UPDATE: Yeah, I love this. It lasts forever on my skin and the tobacco note is gorgeous. I just wish it didn’t cost so damn much. 8/10

I just recently got this fragrance but it was very overpriced. I got it in Harrods which probably wasn’t the best decision but I still did. I’ve been looking at it for a few months but never got around to buying it. I’m glad that I did now. It’s very boozy and sweet. Those are my favourite notes so this is perfect. It lasts for at least 12 hours on skin. I can put it on at 8am and still be able to smell it at 10pm. It lasts even longer on clothes. I had to wash my clothes and it still smelled like it. I would wear this in winter and colder weather but it could really be an all year fragrance. I recommend trying this before buying it because it’s not blind buy safe. Update: I just tried layering narcotic delight with oajan from pdm and it’s the best layering combo I’ve ever tried. My brother said that he could smell it from the other room and he doesn’t usually like my fragrances. I would check this one out if you have a chance.

Ive tried alot of fragrances with a cherry note and all of them smell like cherry cough syrup to me besides this one. Not saying its the only one that done smell like medicine but out of all the ones ive personally smelled. Out of the entire Initio line up Narcotic Delight is by far my favorite. If your in it for compliments then this will fit the bill as this is a compliment magnet. If you have a BF/GF then make sure you get the 90ml bottle as you 2 will burn thru the small one. This is a beautiful fragrance and it layers great with oud for greatness BUT go easy on the sprays as its 2 fragrances that project like a mfer lol. I do full sprays with OFG then little sprits of Narcotic Delight over top. Olfactoryfactoryllc.com has this for around $200 and worth every single penny. One of the few neich fragrances that if I couldnt find at discounters id 100% pay retail and thats rare for me.

This is my first review! I first tried this at the department store, and I was immediately blown away by how well the scent was blended. I couldn’t even tell you what the main notes were! I’d have to say the scent is seductively dirty. The pepper at the beginning is super strong, and as you sniff more, you can also smell cherry and a boozy back note that all mix together perfectly to create a totally different scent. Just because it smells so unique, it definitely deserves a high score. I’d give it a 9/10. The projection is crazy at least for the first 45 minutes, and the sillage is amazing. Compared to other fragrances, I think this one is more unique and aromatic as the day goes on. It develops into a warm vanilla scent that feels cozy even in the coldest winters. I’m so lucky to have found this on Facebook Marketplace at such a great price!

I’ve done a complete 360 with this scent!! When I smelled this the first few times, I hated it. I don’t know why. I was testing it along with Psychedelic love at the time, which I definitely can’t stand, and wrote the brand off completely. Fast forward 4 months, I retested my sample and now I’m completely addicted! I find it very sexy, intoxicating and a bit dark. I personally can’t really say I can identify any individual notes. I can detect something a little sweet, a little tangy, but I don’t recognise it as cherry. I don’t get cherry coke, though would be happy with if I did. I usually hate leather or oud notes, but on my skin the leather is subdued enough for me to enjoy it. For that reason it’s also unlike anything I have in my collection. I love it and have already ordered a full bottle.

i got 3 samples from initio from a random ahh promotion they had on instagram which had side effect, absolute aphrodisiac, and i found this to be the best of the three i got. the cherry note on this is very apparent, warm, and strong throughout the scent's profile but in a good way. i find it pairing really well with the vanilla and woody dry down, its really sweet after a while and its an amazing scent general. i get about 8 hours of longevity and it projects pretty good. i also dont drink so i have no idea wtf cognac smells like but hey this fragrance is amazing i'd get this over side effect cuz they are a bit similar but the cherry wins it over for me. rating 10/10 that cherry note is amazing and i think its good even if u dont like cherry like that (i dont either)

As a cherry note hater - this is absolutely the most DELICIOUS & SEXY stunning fragrance. Oh my goodness I swooned and almost fainted at how good this is right at the counter. I walked around for hours smelling my wrist obsessively because I wanted to make sure it was ‘really that good’ before I went home and ordered it. Cherry juiciness, vanilla and a hint of tobacco. Are you kidding me!! Why does hardly anyone talk about this fragrance? Musk therapy and power self smell like cheap dupes compared to this absolute masterpiece. I personally didn’t rate either of the hyped frags and was kind of done with this house, but so glad I found a stockist and was able to try this in store by pure chance. 120000/10 I love this fragrance I want to marry this fragrance

This fragrance right here......this is my one from Initio..my precious. I remember going to a Dillard's and getting 1 Million EDT for the first time for my first designer purchase, and this is one of the samples that came along with it. My girlfriend almost went FERAL and could not stop sniffing the test strip that came with it, and when I put this on it was even darker (which I cant explain how much I love). The cherry, boozy, tobacco sweetness here pops off beautifully and it just keeps going and going throughout the day getting me 12+ hours on performance, and on clothes it could last DAYS. For me, this is THE cherry scent of all time. I will be purchasing another bottle of this once it runs out because it's that crucial to me. 100/10.

I don't think of this as a cherry fragrance. I love this scent because it reminds me of a night out with sweet fruity notes. You have the booziness, the tabacco, and the dark fruitiness. This parfum smells exactly like what it's named, narcotic delight. This smells fantastic, and on the dry down, you smell these addictive musky pheremone scents which are super sexy. Definitely the perfect fragrance for the club or a night out. Extremely sexy and addictive. The only downside... is the bottle is leaking like crazy! Initio, please fix this! If someone is spending $400 on a fragrance, we expect the bottle to function properly. No fragrance is worth this price with a leaky bottle. Horrible customer service as well.

OK lets get the Althair comparisons out of here. Not even close, you're reaching lol. Side Effect? I can see the similarities and I think they could be used in the same settings but they are definitely different and you wouldn't be wrong to own both. With that said this fragrance is intoxicating. The wiffs that I randomly get off my skin are so damn good. This is date night for sure and definitely unisex. I would personally love this on a girl. I love the tobacco in this and I wish that note was a little more pronounced. Thats my only gripe otherwise it's a beautiful sexy and seductive scent. (btw if forced to choose I still have Side Effect slightly ahead). I can see this one being popular for sure.

The fragrance opens with a soft wave of pepper and juicy cherry with a subtle tartness. It’s an inviting start that immediately draws you in. Soon after, a warm cognac note emerges, accompanied by a moist, slightly smoky tobacco accord. The blend is elegantly sweetened by vanilla, creating a soft- beautiful and undeniably sensual impression. When I first tried this fragrance last year, I didn’t really appreciate it, it felt a bit too harsh for my taste. But a year later, I decided to revisit it, and to my surprise, it feels completely different now. I find myself wanting to wear it more and more , it’s addictive in the most pleasant way 😍

This is incredible. I didn’t love it at first. First 2 wears it wasn’t really what I was expecting, it was mostly a TOBACCO PEPPER Bomb, with a hint of cherry. I stg it was 40% pepper, 40% harsh tobacco and 20% vanilla and cherry. It was a huge disappointment, specially because side effect is my favorite fragrance. I let it macerate for 2 months and Jesus Christ, now is one of the most beautiful scents I’ve tried. Syrupy cherry, with a hint of tobacco and a boozy vanilla dry down, it’s just such a sexy fragrance. If side effect is a 10/10 this is a 9.5. The most beautiful dark cherry fragrance I’ve ever tried, just let it macerate.

Dark. Sexy. Seductive. Elegant. Mysterious. It's difficult to really encapsulate how amazing this scent is, but I think those words get close. Powerhouse of a date night fragrance, or if you're looking to turn heads if you're single & want to attract someone. Genuinely one of the most addictive cherry scents I've put my nose to, boozy, woody, spicy, and overall super smooth and extremely well crafted with excellent performance on skin, 8+ hours before its a skin-scent. Absolutely immaculate. If any of you have Valentino BIR Intense EDP in your collection, you HAVE to try layering the two. You won't be sorry. Just do it.

This is MAGNIFICENT. In the opening you get a very unique and strong cherry note that is pretty acid, you kinda even feel it in your teeth. Then it dries down into a gorgeous gourmand scent, it literally smells like a Mon Cheri tastes. Performance is not that crazy as its more of a “sillage” fragrance, it does not project too much and needs movement to create a scent trail. Longevity is also mid, around 6-8 hours. But the scent, its unique, addicting and at the same time very crowd pleasing. This blows Side effect out of the water, best Initio fragrance having Absolute Aphrodisiac as a close second.

This was my first niche fragrance; got it for right under that $300 mark. Decent. Overpriced for sure, but I am addicted, and wearing it makes me happy. Tobacco in the opening is interesting. I am usually not a fan of tobacco scents, but this one made me love it—great dark cherry vibes, not synthetic cherry but definitely a little syrupy. Currently, on the dry down, the cherry is apparent. Longevity is insane. I sprayed it last night at 8 pm and still smell it on my skin at around noon the next day. The projection is somewhat inconsistent but definitely strong for the first 5 to 6 hours.

When I first smelled this perfume, I was blown away. Elegant, sophisticated, and very well crafted with what feels like high-end ingredients. It opens with a sweet boozy cherry vibe that slowly dries down into an amazing warm, spicy fragrance with hints of tobacco and vanilla. It sits on the skin for a good 6–8 hours with solid projection. I’d say it leans more toward a masculine winter scent, but it definitely has a unisex vibe. I’d strongly recommend smelling it before buying because it can be a dangerous blind buy. Overall 9.5/10, but it’s definitely highly-priced.
