Honest review about this fragrance: The scent is a heavy musky floral lavander fragrance. In the opening you get some sort of citruses a very sharp lemon with this musky sweet lavander. Once it dries down you distincly get the vetiver and def the patchouli that gives to this fragrance a bit of depht. I see listed in the notes there is sandalwood and guaiac wood, originally those raw materials should smell sort of creamy but upon smelling it i do not get that creamy vibe i get with others type of fragrances I fell like the musk accord overpowers those wood notes... Do i like this fragrance ? Yes, i love it. This a fragrance oriented for those who are interested in clean soft type of scents and i do understund perfectly the concept behind this frangrance so i would give it an 8.7/10. Would i do something different ? Yes, i would have added a cedar wood note to make it more masculine leaning and I would have added some vanille. Does it last long? how does it performs ? the major problem with this fragrance is the longevity ... It totally lacks longevity on my skyn lasts 4-5 hrs with 6/7 sprays. Does it get yo compliment ? Yes, Yes, Yes. This fragrance gets you looooad of compliments i would argue it is designed to give you compliments... This stuff is very likable especially to the female audience they simply love it when a guy smells clean, soft, white... This is what my Girlfriend and sister told me. When to wear this fragrance ? To me this feels like it's an all round fragrance every season even summer feels good to me... i would wear this in formal occasion where you don't want to overpower people with a scent... Is it similar to spicebomb ? NO ! And to be honest i do not know where this comparison comes from to be fair... to me spice bomb is spices and musks, this fragrance only have the musk part it doesnt have that spiciness the bomb extreme has... Blind buy safe. Mark: 8.7 really really like this i will enjoy wearing it a lot. t

With The Hedonist line, Initio have really contended a place as my favourite fragrance house. ‘Rehab’ was one I was slightly hesitant to try out. I thought I was afraid of lavender, and the votes on this being masculine and listed as an aromatic scent, I was in doubt. Nevertheless, I ended up with a small sample and all of my worries melted away. My nose reads ‘Rehab’ as a lighter and greener version of ‘Paragon’ from the same brand and collection. The initial spray is giving a light, fresh and herbal wood, specked with musk. The lavender that I thought I would be afraid of is just aromatic and mellow, not that ‘in your face soap’ scent that I was afraid of. And let me say, I absolutely adore the vetiver/bergamot blend that turns into an almost vibrating light green note on my skin. The sandalwood is creamy, almost surprisingly sweet in some sniffs. I do not know ‘Spicebomb’ other than a few random sniffs I’ve done in different stores and airports. But I once read a review comparing this to ‘Bois Doré’ from Van Cleef and I can smell that in some ways, but this is far from as sweet as the vanillic ‘Bois Doré’. The final drydown give me a lot of vetiver and sandalwood, and I would agree that it is slightly masculine leaning because of that, but I would still wear this. But I guess, when the expectations are low, you can hardly be disappointed. If I find this one for a nice price I would be tempted to add this to my collection. A great spring/autumn easy-reach for sure!

I love this stuff personally. People knock it for "smelling like spicebomb" but I dont think they're very close at all. I get very little spiciness out of rehab, and spicebomb is very spicy to my nose. If I had to describe it shortly, Rehab smells like the powder in a pack of smarties mixed with root beer float foam. It is mainly a creamy sandalwood and lavender smell but I get a slight tobacco accord giving it that root beer smell. I personally love the scent of Rehab! I also think its signature scent worthy. Its sweet enough to be worn in the winter but its not too heavy that it cant be worn in the summer. Just not 90 degree + days. Performance is okay, I get about 6 hours on skin and a day on clothes. Projection/sillage is nothing crazy, its a more refined close to the skin scent but it still pushes the first 2 hours. Overall this is amazing if you like creamy sandalwood or lavender. It comes with a hefty price tag but if you get good use out of it like I will, its worth every penny. (Update, this may be one of the best things I've smelled in a long time. It fits me perfectly and almost no fragrance does. Its not a big projector but I love it for that and my girlfriend loves it on me too) 10/10

Always interesting reading the earlier reviews. I have to say some reviewers sound super self important. Bashing what other people smell and are attempting to share. After all, no scent smells the same on everyone. Aaaand anyone who cares to write a review can and most likely has read the attributed perfume notes. Here or elsewhere. Just stop telling people what they smell or must smell. Just stop. It douchy and pretty darn ignorant. There is no this or that or no it absolutely doesn’t have this or that or smell like “x”. Remember, that is YOUR opinion. Rant over... To me and on my skin I get a lovely lactonic scent which has a (probable) fantasy tobacco accord, sweet, wet and fragrant. Lovely pencil shavings without the smell of the lead (not metallic) and as I’m smelling more frequently (must be my skin) a minty type note. It’s lightly sweetened...slightly herbal and very light on citrus. But my nose keeps chasing the scent. I’m done comparing scents to scents. It’s dull, unhelpful and sounds pretentious. This is a wonderful fragrance to be wearing on a cold day like today. Comforting, clean and welcoming. Moderate projection (nice little bubble) moderate duration with a couple of sprays.

The opening of Rehab strikes me with a bright, citric lavender that feels both refreshing and cozy. There is a certain sharpness in the first minutes that oddly reminds me of rhubarb – slightly tart, yet uplifting. As the fragrance settles, the creamy sweetness of sandalwood takes center stage, adding warmth and smoothness to the composition. It actually brings to mind shades of Xerjoff’s Naxos, though with a cleaner, more refined twist. Rehab manages to remain absolutely unisex, versatile enough for any season or time of the day. I find it equally fitting for the office as for casual wear – distinctive without ever being overwhelming. Its performance is solid: good projection, good trail, and a longevity that easily lasts throughout the day (but I am a constant re-sprayer to be honest). What I appreciate most is how balanced it feels – unique enough to be memorable, yet agreeable to almost any nose. In short, Initio Rehab blends freshness, creaminess, and sophistication into a fragrance that is both comforting and versatile – a scent I see myself reaching for again and again.

I only see the Spice Bomb similarity in the first hour of the fragrance, but I can still easily tell the two apart. Rehab has a sweetness to it that Spice Bomb lacks. After that first hour, I think the two fragrances take different paths. Rehab develops more and becomes a beautiful intoxicating spicy gourmand-ish fragrance on my skin while Spice Bomb just stays as a straight up spice fragrance. I wonder if all the people calling Rehab the same as Spice Bomb bothered to test it past the first hour. I wore Rehab today on my left wrist and Spice Bomb on my right wrist. I compared them all day. Rehab is much nicer, more well-rounded, far more interesting, and just an overall better fragrance. I have a sample of Rehab and a mini of Spice Bomb. I never liked Spice Bomb enough to buy a big bottle. I always found it a bit boring, but I do like Rehab enough to perhaps invest in full bottle. I find Rehab much, much nicer than Spice Bomb.

If I could only own one fragrance for the rest of my life, it would probably be Initio Rehab. It took the already incredible Spicebomb DNA, rounded off some of the rough edges, and completely elevated it to niche status while simultaneously making it more unisex and more versatile. Softer scent profile than SB, and refined and freshened perfectly to stand on it's own merits. Absolute slam dunk! 8-10 hours on skin with moderate projection. It's long lasting, but doesn't scream to everyone in the room, my favorite kind of frag performance. Unisex leaning masculine. Highly versatile, day or night, just don't wear it in the high heat and humidity. The only real downsides are the retail price and the fact that their are fake bottles out in circulation; both of these bad factors can be somewhat negated by only buying tester bottles sealed in original box. 10/10 fragrance.

I have a sample of this and let me tell you i want a whole bottle. It’s kinda similar to that spice bomb style but it’s better. I would also like to point out the fragrantica notes a wrong. Everything that they put i can detect except for the vetiver i’m not getting that and if i am it’s hard to detect. Their fragrance 100000% has vanilla and tonka and some sort of tobacco in it. Either way it’s really nice and i need a full bottle. if somone is looking for this or something like it for cheap check out cremo spice and black vanilla, that’s like 60-70 precent similar to this and it’s 20$. But i have a problem with wasting my money so im definitely going to be buying this. Overall its a 9/10 more complex spice bomb extreme that tones down that haven’t tobacco and turns up the sweetness.

It is a wonderful fragrance that makes you want to smell it more deeply as you smell it. I would love to have it in my collection, but its performance disappointed me. It barely lasted 5-6 hours on my skin. I will try it a few more times. Update; I tried it a few times and saw 7-8 hours on my skin. I also compared it with Spicebomb edt. They are really similar, but of course Rehab is very high quality and deep, you can easily understand that. After trying for a long time, I couldn't find any reason to buy Rehab instead of Spicebomb EDT. At the beginning, yes, Rehab feels softer and more niche, but after 1 hour, the scent is very, very close. Their performance is very similar, but there's a 3-4x price difference between the two. I'm not convinced, so I prefer Spicebomb EDT.

By far my favourite from the brand. Absolutely gorgeous warm, spicy, sweet, cold weather fragrance. Incredibly sexy and very alluring, this thing will draw people in and make them want to be near you. Yes, it’s got a similar DNA to spicebomb which is also one of my all time favourites, but this is far superior in terms of quality. It feels much more sophisticated and for me personally also justifies the higher price tag. One huge drawback is longevity. First few hours is so beautiful but after that it’s just a skin scent. Such a shame. This should have been made to last at least 6-8 hours with good protection. Someone mentioned here layering with side effect which does work well but side effect ends up completely taking over since it’s so much more powerful.

I have an old and stronger concentration edition. Keep this in mind when reading the review. This is a very nice woody and spicy composition that I think is more masculine. From fall to spring, it can be great to wear at any time of the day. Its durability is above average on my skin, it lasts for at least 8-10 hours. The projection is great. Even after 1-2 hours people around me feel it when I walk past them. Great and quality fragrance. It is very similar to Histoires de Parfum Hemingway. They are close in quality although Rehab is a more potent mixture. What I liked more about Hemingway was the cinnamon aroma. Overall, I still felt that Rahab was the better one and I kept it.

Gifted this to my husband for his birthday today and it’s gorgeous. It was on his wishlist but I had not smelled it. It was so not what I expected from the name and the lavender note, I thought it would be more aromatic and spa like. But rather it has a creamy character and softly warm spicy but still clean. It is extremely unisex and likeable. I can’t believe no vanilla is listed and realise that the deep dry down reminds me of Fat Electrician by ELDO, presumably from the way the vetiver is done, in combination with the secret vanilla. A crowd pleasing gem, lovely for spring and fall.

Has no vanilla, tonka, or tobacco. Does have a creamy sandlewood that mixed with the Musk, maybe is why people are thinking vanilla and tonka. Don't understand tobbaco being picked up.Guaiac wood is on the list, don't believe it's there. There is Hedione which isnt listed on here, which i think is giving off refined sexy vibes. Said already below me simply, spicy smell with no spices. None, nada. No cinnamon, cumin or pepper. Yes to Lavender, bergamot, woods. Patchouli, musk and sandlewood. Spicy, creamy and therapeutic. Great for Winter, spring and Autumn. Great performance Unisex 8.9

Each note of Rehab is measured and articulate. A versatile high quality scent that is considered and quietly persuasive. Lavender and Bergamot lay the ground work for a clear opening, while the woody mix is grounding and concise. The musky softness closes the scent in a contemplative yet convincing way, and the result is a winning performance. This is is liquid philosophy that says what it intends in a clever way. Rehab is composed and reflective, to compare it to Spice Bomb is like comparing a poem to an instruction manual, because they both have words.

What strikes me most about Rehab is how different it feels from what the crisp white bottle might lead you to expect. Instead of something airy or minimalistic, it reveals a sweeter, warmer personality. To my nose, it’s a gorgeous sandalwood at its core, but with an unexpected tart edge that takes away some of the sandalwood’s usual roundness—yet, paradoxically, makes it more interesting. This tangy twist reminds me almost of rhubarb, adding brightness and complexity without disrupting the overall harmony. The result is both refined and surprising.

Are there parallels with Spicebomb? Absolutely! Is this fragrance better in every single way? It sure is! This is a niche take on the Spicebomb DNA. It's a much better take on the original. Fresher, softer, smoother: laced with fresh lavender and musk making it creamy, easy to wear, well balanced and delicious. The quality is far beyond the V&R and Histoires de Parfums offerings outstanding longevity and versatility, friendly to both men and women, and just as pleasant in the closest winter as warmer spring and cooler summer days. 10/10 fragrance

Among these 3 white bottles in the Initio line, the best is Rehab in my opinion, Musk therapy still good but not the best one, I love plum note but I don't like Paragon, I smell very medicinal plum but not in a good way, dry down a bit chemical vibe which I can't stand it Back to Rehab, I get a lot of bergamot, lavender, sandalwood and musk, smell very natural and uplifting, even though it's not a groundbreaking scent but it still very good, sometimes I would layer with some citrus fragrances and it's smell amazing I would give Rehab 9.75/10

Incredible fragrance. It's like a lavender field just after it has rained. Reminds me a lot of where I grew up. The lavender has more of a green-ish trait here. Not very strong like in Paragon for e.g. The vetiver and patchouli give a very silky sweetness to it. It's amazing. About 10-11h longevity on my skin. Silage is quite strong for about 4-5 hours. Perfect for all seasons, except maybe in summer (unless summer is not as hot where you live) due to its sweet side. P.S.: No idea why some of you compare it to spicebomb. It's nothing alike.

This is gorgeous! In the beginning I wasn’t convinced. Smelled too green for my taste, slightly masculine leaning and even faded quickly. But when I hopped in the shower.. OH DEAR. Somehow the humidity or the heat did their magic and this fragrance reactivated. It started projecting like crazy and out came a beautiful clean scent. I can’t even describe how amazing this smells now i can’t stop sniffing my wrist. This will be my second Initio for sure with my first one being Paragon. This house just works so well for me I’m in love.

My favorite fragrance of all time, I always loved spicebomb, so when I smelled this it opened by eyes to a new type of quality for that dna. It last a long time, projection is on the softer side. It is super smooth, with creamy woods and a bright opening. I think it leans slightly masculine in my opinion. Super versatile scent as well, be lighter on sprays in the summer, I would wear this up to 80 degrees. I also don’t think this projects well enough for my liking for the ultra cold weather like sub 10 degrees.
