Wild Rush

Oud For Freshness was probably on the table when deciding on a name for this one. While it does not smell like OFG/Haltane in its entirety (and does not contain anything that resembles oud), the strong aromatic part and intense sweetness really makes it feel like a spring/summer night flanker to the line. It's very pleasing to the nose, synthetic in the best of ways, it is fougere-adjacent, and indeed reminding of Valero for the first hour (but only in the air, up close its quite different). But it has this lingering BR540 cotton candy sweetness that makes it extra playful without leaving the forest/aromatic vibe behind. Until you test it yourself, any description or review you come across will make you think this is a mess. But it is such a nice smooth blend and a very easy wear. I would not wear this on the hotter days, but any other time is a go. As for the performance, it is only supercharged for the first hour. It then produces a very nice trail for a few hours until it starts fading around hour six. Personally, I would not want this profile to be made stronger, as it would probably smell weird during one or more stages of the scent journey. It's a fun, quirky take on the DNA and I love it. The price (280€) does not seem outrageous to me for the quality. Had the PDM extraits been more well received, these two "supercharged" scents would have been priced similarly, so it is nice to see a little course correction to pricing that feels more in touch with the two companies' profile and customer base.

I had the good fortune of previewing this! Smelling and spraying on my wrist. It reminds me of something my best friend, Jean Pierre, used to wear, Christine Celle’s Calypso Lavandre , although that was more delicate and airy. Wild Rush, it’s a blast of juicy berries warmed by the sunlight, dancing playfully with sweet gourmand undertones ! The sweetness dissipates as the balance of lavender subdues and grounds the essence with a more earthy quality . A beautifully balanced scent of lavender, berries and caramel! The main notes I can detect. The bergamot gives a hint of freshness but is fleeting, the sandalwood is definitely in the background, hardly detectable to my nose. In the dry down, I’m definitely picking up patchouli, giving it a soft powdery finish. 6 hours later still detectable, leaving a nice trail, less is more, this scent can be shared! This makes me feel a little nostalgic, torn between uplifting and melancholy, giving me spring, summer vibes of vacation in the Hamptons with friends who are no longer here. I’d buy him a bottle if I could.

I really love Wild Rush by Initio. First, I haven’t really seen anyone say this, so I have to ask... Does this not just smell like Baccarat Rouge to y’all in the dry down? Cause to me, on my skin, it’s almost identical. Obviously it’s much fresher off the top and mid, but it’s literally just BR with some added complexity after a couple hours. That being said, I love the berries and bergamot in this one because it keeps it fresher-leaning and more unique. The caramel/vanilla blend keeps it sweet and almost syrupy, which I appreciate, but I can understand why some don’t. Overall, as someone who’s not the biggest fan of Initio, this one was a huge success to me. Call me crazy, but I think this could legitimately work in any season, nighttime or daytime. There’s so much versatility here that it’s kinda staggering. It seems to last a while and project decent, just make sure you don’t go noseblind and overspray.

Wild Rush is one of the most addictive fragrances Iv tried in a long time. The opening is fruity and vibrant with noticeable red berries, while the lavender adds a really clean feeling that keeps the sweetness in. As it dries down, the caramel comes through, making it creamy, smooth, and just the right amount of sweet. Honestly, I find it quite different from what people usually compare it to. I don’t really get strong similarities with BR540 or Valero, it feels more unique and has its own identity on my skin. The performance is also really good, with solid longevity and projection. Over all, I think it’s well worth the price being charged, especially considering the quality and how enjoyable it is to wear. my favorite fragrance

This is one of those times im SOOO happy I dont smell what everyone else does. The berries in this fragrance are so unbelievably strong on my skin it feels like I rubbed fruit on it. Its so playfully sweet and even on the dry down people continue to smell the red berries on me through the air. Definitely leaning more towards a younger crowd which is kinda harsh with that price tag. I am new to fragrances so I haven't smelled all the niche or ultra niche scents yet but ON ME nothing gets that scent and holds it like Wild Rush does, not Valero, not Sauvage, not anything else.

Whoever said Wild rush is like BR540, and I own them, I doesn’t understand how you can get BR540 when the notes aren’t even similar. It’s like comparing a Lavender to cotton candy. I can see it being compared to Valero clearly. Sure, BR540 is sweet, just like Intio Wild Rush, but that’s as close as they get. The first note is red berries. Smells similar to you, but the lavender is more prominent in Wild Rush. To me, Intio’s Wild Rush comes across as more clean-cut, playful, and sweet. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s pleasing. I’ve gotten compliments on while wearing it.

Wild Rush is not a sweet fragrance and that's a good thing - the opening lavender, berries with caramel vanilla gives a natural warm undertone that I like. Overall, a bold contemporary fougere with a heart of lavender, sandalwood and patchouli that reminds me of ancestry from YSL Y, PdM Percival, Fierce and PdM Layton. A little more buzz to these woods that the notes indicate and very pleasant. To me it is overpriced, but it is a fine fragrance that is well balanced and should be a staple core product for the Initio/PdM faithful. I bought a bottle and happy with it.

This is what Valero (which I like) should have smelled like. I hate that I love this so much. It is pretty basic, but done to perfection. So addicting and mood enhancing. And.. I don’t know if it is because of the blue theme on the bottle or something else, but I get sort of a blueberry note, which I find interesting and good. Anyone else get that? Smell 10/10 Compliments 10/10 Price 3/10 Uniqueness: 2/10 Worth it? Imo yes, especially if you do not have something similar in your collection, and price is not an issue for you.

Wore this today, immediately reminded me of something else from Initio/PDM. Then it dawned on me , it’s basically Haltane/Oud For Greatness with a “fresher/brighter” feel- a warm weather flanker of that DNA. It’s actually a great option if you like that DNA and wanna wear it year round. Kinda what Kilian’s did with Angel’s Share On The Rocks- a summer flanker 🤷🏼 This isn’t a completely new DNA, just something reimagined with a different name. 8/10 as I like Haltane/OFG and this allows me to wear it in more places/temps.

It’s now 24 hours after spray it on my up wrist. A couple of showers after and 30 degrees outside..still catching something. Did not scrub it over just in the spot of the spray, to be honest, but still.. The opening was little too sweet for my usual taste, and vanilla is not a note that I particularly love on my skin, as well as caramel . But after 30/45 minutes when dry down started and lasted so long. Wow, it got me. I will probably get a bottle soon.

This is what Valero wishes it was. They smell very, very close and if you own one then you basically own the other as they are redundant imho. That being said, you're much better off going with this for every viable reason. Other than Paragon and Musk Therapy, I'm not a big Initio fan but this is another classic to add to my short list. It's expensive, even on discounters, but worth every penny to my nose. I highly recommend!

Straight up fire!! It’s like new generation, upgraded version of blue type fragrances. Sharp fresh top notes mix with sweet warm base. As in the name it’s wild) Smells well blended and quality. Some untrained noses can register sharpness as synthetic. If they want to smell something synthetic they can try Armaf, Afnan, Lattafa etc.)) Longevity and sillage are great. Directly goes to top of my wishlist. My score : 9.5/10

Managed to try this yesterday at the boutique. The notes are a little confusing. On skin I get the red berries and lavender with the vanilla creaminess showing its face in the deep dry down. Love how it changed throughout the day. The comparisons to PDM Valero make sense because that’s the first thing I thought of. Great release imo, I am a sucker for fresher scents!

I just got this, in my opinion its really really good but I also don't have a lot of experiences with stuff similar to it so I cant really compare it, to me its a really reliable scent so far, I would imagine it works with just about any occasion :3 I recommend it but I imagine you can find similar stuff for far cheaper but idk lmao im just a silly guy

This is a beautiful fragrance. I immediately put my order in for a May 1st launch at Dillards. Everyone is talking about what it reminds them of but the closest I can think of is maybe Gisada Ambassador with the Fruitiness done better and the woodiness being perfection.

In my testing, this came across as a pretty designer blue fragrance. The PINNACLE of designer blue fragrances. Incredibly pleasing, super high quality and a very enjoyable wear. Seriously considering getting a whole bottle. 8.5/10 WOO's.

genuinely such a likeable scent. opens fresh and fruity with a hint of lavander and drys down into this cereal like carmel. lasted 9+ hours on my skin, 9/10. edit: i can still smell it on my blanket 24 hours later.

Got 5ml tester after buying another fragrance, really liked it, it is sweet but not cloying, light-sweet playful all year scent with addictive quality. Highly likable, can hardly imagine someone disliking it.

Take an aromatic blue and mix it with CC JUAKM Hedonistic, you have something close to this. It's not natural smelling, but it is very smooth and simply smells great. Not terribly special, but smells good.
