Orange Patina

Orange Patina opens with the juicy flesh of watermelon and a softly sweet, velvety peach, framed by the scent of freshly halved oranges, where not only the pulp but also the aromatic peel releases its vibrant citrus essence. As the fragrance unfolds, soft suede and delicately smoky guaiac wood gradually come to the forefront, adding depth and character to the composition. And in today’s niche fragrance world, that originality, distinctive character, and complete absence of obvious comparisons are what make it truly special.

initial spray is both sweet & tart. I definitely smell the orange and a little passion fruit. The peach is what must be giving it the sweetness. A minute later I can smell faint watermelon as the sweetness fades and it starts to turn smokey. I think it’s the leather/suede that my nose interprets as smoke/ash. The drydown is a smidge woody with a honeyed nuance to it, from the osmanthus & orange blossom. If you love orange blossoms you will enjoy this. I’m loving this one.
