Mossy Bridges

I feel that all the Insider Parfums I've tested so far have a very good lasting power. You apply it in the morning and in the evening you can still smell them when moving around. About 3-4 hours in they feel like fading a little bit, but then they somehow come back to life and keep on going. This is a beautiful beautiful scent, like no other. The beeswax is the main character here I feel but the herbals do certainly play a role. It's warm, cosy, not offensive, not cloying, O love this kind of perfumery. I've never smelled the OG but this one is really good. Having tested Plum Harajuku, I can say that they capture that Tom Ford vibe really well. I bought a 10ml travel spray but I feel that Mossy Bridges is full bottle worthy, it's easy to wear, uplifting, not offensive, it kind of has a clean smell in the beginning, like an expensive bar of soap but not in that powdery way(I don't like powdery scents) and then the beeswax kick in, so there is a slightly evolution of this scent in the first hours.

I am rarely one to wax lyrical about a clone fragrance, but Mossy Bridges is fabulous. The performance far exceeds the original, and I am shocked by the quality and depth of the fragrance itself, especially when you factor in the price. Unsure if these are on a limited release or will be available long term, but I highly recommend you getting your nose on this one if you miss or want to experience Moss Breeches.

I have never smelt the original so I don't know how much this smells alike. Despite that, this is a great perfume. The beeswax/smoky patchouli create this smoky but slightly sweet smell which ultimately feels like a Tom Ford. This fougere like backbone works really well with the beeswax without the fragrance becoming too sweet and in gourmand territory. In terms of projection and longevity, this is pretty good.

Never tried the original but this is a beautiful masculine aromatic with patchouli bomb. I have only few perfumes whose strength is comparable to this. One spray is more than enough, got a comment that 2 sprays were way too strong when I entered the car soon after spraying.

Beautiful rendition of Moss Breches - only the opening is a bit different from the original. It's also quite strong for the first few hours, which I was not expecting! Be careful with how much you use. Another lovely resurrected Tom Ford from Insider.

Never tried Moss Breches but this is one of the best 'old school' gentlemanly frags in my enormous collection. Doesn't smell cheap and synthetic as you might expect with a clone. Refined and classy. Well done Wave Dench.

Great rendition of Moss Breches.

Mossy Bridges is the recreation of the long discontinued Moss Breches by Tom Ford, a fragrance I’ve unfortunately not had the chance to smell and so I cannot make a comparison to how close this is. What I can say, is that this smells absolutely fantastic. Herbal heaven I would describe this as. It’s so much sharper than I was expecting, like a razor. The intense fresh herbaceous zing of rosemary, sage and tarragon is fantastically green and masculine, tempered by the rich woodiness of cedar and earthy patchouli. The beeswax isn’t as prominent as I thought it might be, offering just a subtle touch of sweetness which is barely noticeable. If you want to smell like herbs, this is the scent for you - which some may take as a positive or a negative. I see it as a positive, for this is like nothing else I’ve tried before. I’m not sure it’s a true love for me, but it’s seriously impressive perfumery and truly unique.

I wholeheartedly enjoyed this fragrance. It’s soft and warm – like a bundle of dry herbs – with a grounded, clean base from the patchouli and cedar. On my skin, the beeswax offers a noticeable touch of sweetness to blend the notes together without becoming cloying. Because the herbal notes don’t lean green or vegetal, the overall scent is very spa like. Mossy Bridges is super long lasting, and sillage is very robust to start. After an hour or so the scent does settle enough to perform more subtly.

This scent profile is not what I typically wear, but I bought a 10ML from Insider Parfums to get close to what all the hype is for the discontinued and elusive TF Moss Breches. Fundamentally I am so against dupes and dupe culture, but I will say that what Insider Parfums does with resurrecting fragrances that are discontinued is brilliant and they've done an incredible job doing this with TF Plum Japonais and Amber Absolute. Given their incredible accuracy with those two, I expected them to hit the mark with Mossy Bridges. Having never smelled TF Moss Breches, I cannot vouch for the accuracy, but Mossy Bridges is heavenly. I say this as the highest praise of someone who absolutely hates Chypre fragrances. Mossy Bridges starts a bit off putting for me but the dry down is a masterpiece. I would absolutely buy a full bottle of this and now it has been in my rotation line up for the last few weeks. I rarely wear the same fragrance consecutively, but this is one I am now reaching for.

Never tried the original but got a 10ml of this as the description is so up my street. Wow! Herbal, aromatic, clean, beautifully strong scent that i absolutely love and will be buying a full bottle once this 10ml runs out. This is a masterful creation and reminds if the strong scents from yesteryear!

This smells really good, it smells like an expensive old soap. Unfortunately it doesn't have any lasting power. But that's to be expected considering the low prices of this house

Is this better than the Dua clone of Moss Breches, Chypre Supreme? Because that one KICKS ass.
