Kuba Rose

Very addicting fragrance. I definitely smell the Rose very strongly, but a sweet rose. The other components I get are the bergamot and musk at the end. I immediately fell in love with it when I discovered it in the gift shop of the art museum where an exhibit featuring Isabel and Ruben Toledo was being shown. Since I am a huge fan of these artists i was so excited to find that Isabel has a fragrance line! This one is by far my favorite of the three that were available. Very feminine and intoxicating. I'm usually drawn to a more woody/bergamot/jasmine type of scent but this one is just so lovely I had to have it.

This is a beautiful floral fragrance that honestly isn't TOO flowery. If you aren't a huge fan of florals (I am not) you may still like this fragrance. Personally I pick up a lot more of the fruity/citrus notes rather than floral or rose. You can definitely smell it but it for sure isn't the strongest note in the perfume. This is one of my all time favorites! It's quite long lasting and the sillage is enormous.

This is definitely a heady white floral scent the sillage is off the charts so be very careful with the amount you put on , cause this stuff ain't whimpy LOL. With that being said this is a beautiful bouquet that will definitely draw compliments.

I picked this up in a roller ball while out shopping with my mom several years ago. I wish I could account for this discovery as a trinket picked up from a cultured foray into the world (like the reviews below) but that's not the case: I found this at Lane Bryant helping my mom shop for her latest cruise attire. This IS achingly sweet. The red currant is forward and the boysenberry + lemon (a spritz, if that) and bergamot sit right on top. The rose is detectable but blends well with the peony, making it light. I really don't detect any distinct tuberose but the white floral presence makes this "solar" --I can absolutely see why previous reviews listed it as a vacation scent. Finally the musk and sandalwood round out this fruity floral--giving it a more mature (rather than teeny-bopper) sex appeal. It's quite powerful in the beginning but quiets down rather quickly: I put this on about 30 min ago and it has already calmed down a lot. It's quite linear but the musk sticks around the longest (4-5 hours?). This is a "project pan" bottle (I've since transferred it to a purse spray) and will likely not be replaced with the direction my collection has gone.

Lots of sweetness, a pinch of lemon and a smooth bright rose. Very youthful and girly, playful and fun. 6.5 almost 7/10~
