My Manifesto

My Manifesto is a beautiful meadow in the middle of nowhere minus flowers :-) Even though I am a fruity, vanilla, gourmand lover, My Manifesto appealed to me. It has hardly any sweetness; no floral sweetness and no fruity sweetness. Its smell resembles freshly mowned lawn and a little herbal garden with the most aromatic basil you can find. My Manifesto is not medicinal; it is a definitely bitter fragrance, crispy, fresh, with just a hint of pepper, which breaks the bitterness and makes it feel a wee bit spicy. My Manifesto is a lovely spring fragrance, also suitable for summer days when wearing anything else may be too much. My Manifesto will never feel 'too much' because it is inoffensive and fresh. I have all Rossellini fragrances in my collection - none of them is generic or dull. Each one has its own personality and they all suit different occasions and seasons. My Manifesto has gentle silage and good staying power. The bottle is lovely, I love chunky bottles that make a statement :-) I have a feeling that My Manifesto will appeal to Miracle by Lancome lovers. Well worth trying.

How awesome is this fragrance on a hot day. A couple of sprays and i feel so refreshed and clean.Very mentally uplifting too.This is a really great combination of notes.I love how positive this fragrance leaves me feeling.Brilliant rating of 10/10.

fhesh,herbal,and with a touch of pepper you smell at first and green very green...I wear it in summer...

I bought this one on the say-so of someone commenting on a blog, where she said it was an inexpensive, but memorable fragrance. But sadly, I hated the scent so much that I washed it off soon afterwards. There seemed something so depressing about it - maybe the pepperiness, basil and bergamot that deadens the floral notes - that makes it seem so synthetic, impersonal and cheap. It just doesn't seem to like my skin and the thought of being surrounded by this scent during the day filled me with despair. I've kept the bottle in the hope that I might come to like it, but so far I still have this inexplicably violent aversion to it.

I would not call this scent spicy, but herby. It's very green and fresh, I imagine it suits a very well organized, accurate lady in a business situation... It's a scent without much heated emotions, if that makes any sense. It never appealed to me much, as I am more an amber-lover and I love some mystery in my odeurs. But today, a warm summer holiday, I actually really liked it. It made me feel fresh and shiny, but not anxious to please. Could be also because I used a sandalwood talcum powder base...

I bought it with my dad for mom as a Christmas gift some years ago- dad chosen it. Unfortunetly my mom didn't like it at all and she didn't use even half bottle. For me it ́smells just basil, bergamot and some pepper. Nothing special.

Beautiful perfume. Very herbal and peppery. To me, this has a similar "feel" to Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea, but with pepper as the overriding smell instead of tea. Worth also investing in the shower gel and body spray, as layering them up makes the scent last a very long time. Using this first thing in the morning, stepping out the shower smelling like this makes me feel gorgeous, clean, fresh and awake, and I really enjoy the peppery edge to the green-ness.

I have the body lotion version of this. The herbal/citrus combination reminds me of classic eau de cologne, which makes it great for daywear and summer. Ladylike in a classy way rather than a girly way, refreshing, very "green", any white floral notes are subtle IMHO. I give it props for being a celebrity fragrance without being a candied flowerbomb; this and Fame are my two favourite CFs actually.

Soo green, clean and fresh! Its not like typical green perfumes it has herbal notes that are very unique. It makes me feel like I just left the spa!
