Note, if you're on the fence (AFAIK this is impossible to sample in the US right now) but think you will like it then just GET IT, you will <3 (Plus Isabey ships here for free and VERY FAST!) As far as associations it is very similar to the dry down of A Chant for the Nymph on me (after Chant’s shampoo-esque florals have faded) Its a slightly sweet, salty ylang tropical floral. I get around 6 hours (I think I go a little anosmic to it if I overspray) and around 8 hours on clothes. It’s definitely a skin scent on me, which I generally prefer as I am an over-sprayer!

I don't know what some of you are saying......this is a beautiful honeyed mildly tropical fragrance that is just a touch sweet, not cloying and just light and lovely. This is better to me that the musky Prends - moi fragrance since I am not a musk lover. I really think this is quite beautiful and worthy of sampling. It iis on my purchase list.

Well this is a very Very nice perfume for summer. It smells like coconut milk and vanilla and it is Very refreshing ,even if this is sweet, it is very smooth and i think it makes me feel happy like its 1990 summer and everything around is normal...

It’s a tropical floral fragrance indeed as expected looking at the notes, but nothing spectacular. Just a like, not a love! Maybe the bottle, it’s such an opaque but shiny immaculate white, and so unique shaped and heavy and beautiful. The fragrance for me was just another beautiful tropical flower with vanilla, musk and benzoin. Not particularly sweet or creamy or smooth, just middle of the road on any aspect other than the packaging. It doesn’t smell synthetic or cheap but it didn’t wowed me in any way! Packaging is thick white cardboard box and the white bottle very striking looking, a rhombus or a parallelogram shaped, in pure white! The plaque on the front of the bottle with the name of the scent and the concentration, gives me Tom Ford Soleil Blanc vibes. Cap heavy and metallic, with a gold satiny looking like string around it, very beautiful piece! Priced at 140€ for a 50 ml bottle, the only size available in the store, is quite steep.

Unlike other reviewers and the pyramid, I don't see this as a tropical scent. It reminds me of a cozy old-fashioned bouquet of flowers, mainly lilies. Can be cloying for some. I like it but this is definitely not a sexy scent. Avon Flower by Cynthia Rowley is (used to be) very similar. The sillage and longevity are nice. I have a full bottle and the bottle is of a terrible quality. The white coating from the metal cap started to go off, leaving small white pieces of plastic on my hands, after few days of use! For such a famous traditional French perfume house, this is a disgrace.

Can anyone tell me when it will be possible to buy it? It is not yet visible on the official isabey website either...

Frangipani, freesia and ylang-ylang create a nice yellow bubble that isn't overwhelming. Tt has that blooming, nectary quality to it that jasmine also adds to, especially in the first hour. Sweet but less so than Route d'Emeraude. The tropical aspect I don't understand but maybe it's about where you'd find these flowers in nature? Neither do I get the reviews referring to pollen but either it performs milder on me or my point of reference is skewed (Papillon's Hera is a pollen atom bomb y'all). An hour in it turns more musky and slightly creamy but in a way that reminds me of skin after sunbathing with the remnants of the sunscreen scent still there, it's a musk that I really like and it reminds me of Stora Skuggan's Monkeyflower but here it's much lighter. Another hour in vanilla comes as a distinct note too. Later drydown is mostly an ambroxan vanilla one with a side of musk but no sign of the florals. Overall a light and breezy perfume for the first 2h, pleasant and well composed but doesn't wow me and the drydown falls flat and feels uninspired. It gives a moderate projection but since it isn't overly sharp I don't mind the scent bubble as much.

I find the vanilla is quite forward, even on initial spray, with a light powdery floral overlay -- yellow flower, white flower, kind of a generic "floral" essence. There's actually a green stemmy quality in there somewhere too. It's not a naturalistic presentation, although I don't find it overly sweet and the vanilla does not skew gourmand as so often happens with that note. There is a creaminess and I definitely get what others are describing as a bit of a tropical sunscreen vibe. Not a direct representation of sunscreen, but more like a suggestion of it. I am not a fan of tropical fragrances overall so don't think that I am the right target for this one.

Tropical floral shampoo mixed with flower pollen and not in a good way. Smells cheap. I expect more from this brand. Very juvenile. I don't even get like a specific floral note it just smells like a strange synthetic blend of fake tropical flowers and coconut drowning in pollen, and a cheap musky coconut vanilla amber. Gagging.

This is my new summer signature scent. Smells tropical in an elegant way. Monoi and ylang ylang on a creamy coconuty vanilla base. Despite how creamy this is it is still very fresh and not cloying at all. It also smells very unique in comparison to other creamy floral summer fragrances. The thing about this is that you have to try it in warm weather, otherwise it doesn’t smell as creamy and the florals smell a lot like Lilly of the valley. It also has a lovely lasting power at around 5-6 hours before turning in to a vanillic skin scent for about 5 more. The projection is medium to weak, you most likely wont be smelled when entering a room but the moment someone leans in a radius of around 20 cm from you they will smell a very elegant, tropical, sexy floral scent. P.s. my dad’s answer when asked if he liked this was that if he met a woman that smelled this way he would marry her so there’s that 😂 Edit. It’s been about 3 weeks since I got this. I swear I’ve never gotten so many compliments in my life. All from men. Not a single woman. But men LOVE this. I was told I smell good a million times and asked what perfume I was wearing. I was even told I smell intoxicating. This is the first time I experience something like that with a perfume. This is a guy magnet for sure.

This is really well done, super ethereal, huge sillage but a mild scent, like another reviewer said "delicate but strong". Has a salt note which is on their website but I don't see listed here. Not super salty, I typically do not like marine notes and this one is tolerable. Very uplifting solar warm ethereal scent. Creamy sweet tropical flowers. The freesia in the beginning is what I think people are perceiving as lily of the valley, I think this dissipates somewhat and the fragrance goes ultimately more in the vanilla monoi direction. Also this fragrance lasts FOREVER. 12+ hours. I still smelled it on my skin pretty strong the following morning.

Avant et Apres Isabey ..Is this available in the UK ? Would love to try it . Can anyone recommend a dupe or something similar ..almost impossible to find

Not as terrible as the other Gardenia I’ve sampled from this house but I believe this house makes old woman scents. Not for me
