L'Eau D'Issey Une goutte sur un Petale

Woody, musky floral citrus. It is not aquatic and yet it does have some of L'eau d'Issey dna. Quite complex. First impression: flowers, including warm ones like mimosa. Mimosa with rosy background. But it does not describe the scent which feels fresh - and when I contemplate I can feel the orange, lemon, maybe mandarin, too. It is also from the start woody. Musky too. After the initial opening I can feel also vanilla. It is delicate, feminine.

To sum it up in three words: Fresh Abstract flowers! Not a bad fragrance. Initially it smells fresh/aquatic, and slightly rosy in the middle, but I am disappointed that it is not very long lasting on the skin.

First of all I love the name (A drop on a petal) sounds so delicate , and evokes images of fresh summer mornings with glistening dewdrops on flowers. On my skin, while I could detect some citrus and mimosa in the opening, the dominating note was rose. And it stayed till the end. It`s not a heavy rose but is sparkling and fresh, blended with citruses. It has a tinge of aquatic notes as well but they are not sporty or strong, so the scent doesn't loose it`s composition and stays floral throughout. It is springtime captured in a bottle. None of the musk,woodsy notes vanilla or amber showed up on my skin. Scents as you know smell different on different people. But I`m not complaining. An easy to wear delicate floral. I don`t think anyone will dislike this as it`s unlikely to offend anyone.

I'm a fan of Issey perfumes as it produces the best aquatic,fresh perfumes and as I'm crazy about aquatic fragrances.the name is really amazing and the smelling is even more amazing!what distincts this perfumes from other ones of the company,is that it's surprisingly fresh and into citrus scents.personally I don't get any of the base notes and I thought there's something like water lily or lotus in it(lol,I was wrong) the bad point is that it's very hard to find it(at least where I live).I think there should be more publication for people to get to know it even exist. I suggest it for young,active,sporty girls,even suitable for office wear.
