Nectar d'Issey Première Fleur

Loving this scent. The pear odour makes the perfume smells light and lessens the smell of the peony. The sweet scent in this is so light that it smells like a cup of water with three teaspoons of honey. It's really not long-lasting tho... you can only smell it when you put the skin "on" your nose and smell it.

I love this scent - sweet and floral and just a little fruity from the get go! Lasts for ages - I really enjoyed smelling myself throughout the day. 😁 Superior to Pure Petal de Nectar...definitely my favourite from the Pure/Nectar series.

l'Eau d'Issey Nectar d'Issey Première Fleur is the first one from the 'Pure Nectar' line (in copper colour bottles) that I tried. And I loved it instantly. I find it the most floral and the most projecting of the three. Think Pure Nectar but the honey toned down by 25% and add florals and some powder in and voilà, you get Nectar d'Issey Première Fleur. I don't get much fruitiness from it though. Just floral over the Pure Nectar base. The scent is also pretty linear and totally feminine. It is 75% similar to Pure Nectar, but the dry down is more floral, more powdery, and less soapy. I like Pure Nectar's dry down better because it just smells cleaner, though Nectar d'Issey Première Fleur has a better opening. Overall, I don't think anyone needs all three in this line. Just one ought to do the trick: -If you like honey, go for Pure Nectar. -If you like Pure Nectar but want something lighter (edt), go for Pure Pétale de Nectar. -If you like Pure Nectar but want something more floral, linear, and slightly more powdery, go for Nectar d'Issey Première Fleur. Longevity is good (better than the other two in the line). Sillage is good. This is a safe blind buy, safe office scent (but don't overspray), and good for daytime in spring. Edit: This turned too creamy/vanillic/coconut-y on me. I'll stick with Pure Nectar.

As a huge lover of L’Eau d’Issey Pure Nectar flanker, I decided to take a chance and blind buy L’Eau d’Issey Premiere Fleur after checking the notes on Fragrantica. I thought it would be a less sweet version of Pure Nectar and I would love it. It’s not quite like that unfortunately. I don’t hate Premiere Fleur but it has something synthetic in composition that ruins it for me. The opening is absolutely beautiful. A fresh, delicate, dewy peony with sweet, juicy pear. Perfection... But whatever other fruits they used besides Nashi pear, it’s something acidic in there, that combined with musk it’s not meshing well with my skin chemistry. Luckily that disturbing undertone it’s not very prominent in the air. The jasmine flower is nicely balanced with a very smooth sandalwood. It’s a pretty, fruity floral perfume with good longevity but it doesn’t come close to Pure Nectar for me! I would recommend Premiere Fleur to ladies who don’t want an overly sweet perfume but are looking for an aquatic fresh floral. This happens to be a very affordable one and it’s perfect for wearing during spring season! Will work fine even during summertime, it’s not too overpowering... Edit June 2025: I have finished my bottle and even if it was available, I wouldn’t repurchase.

This is like a milder version of Idole by Lancome, has the same shampooey qualtiy. Juicy and floral, pretty linear, somewhat powdery. Performance is average. I'd say it's a safe blind buy if you like light florals or clean scents that aren't sharp and citrusy. The peony, pear and musk definitely come through. My every day scent these days.

You should test this on your skin before blind buying. I interpret the 'Premiere' as something low key to wear before bedtime. I detect no sparkling notes or distinctive notes, except for a fruity peach fuzz scent with musk. The perfume doesn't seem to develop or change on the skin. There is a 2018 Pure Nectar and this new release, 2020 Nectar Premiere Fleur. This one is a flanker of a flanker of a flanker.

Too heavy for me. There is extremal freshness here combined with some sourness, plus there is bomb of synthetic flowers here. All of those notes are overwhelming right imidiately after applying and they never go away.. A total wash off for me. I love all what Issey line has to offer..except of this one fragrance.

I bought this by mistake instead of the pure nectar 🤦🏼♀️🙆🏼♀️😭unfortunately, it’s a huge miss for me. The jasmine is prominent specially when first sprayed and it stays loud and in your face till the dry down. I hate jasmine 🤦🏼♀️😷it only faintly resembles pure nectar in the drydown. I’ll be returning this!

Blind buy for less than £25 in Sainsburys... a massive regret. A very heavy, vintage leaning perfume. The notes are sharp, not very well blended and lean a bit sour. I actually like the note profile, but it's just overwhelming and unpleasant to me. The perfume is quite linear and there isn't a defined dry down, I couldn't cope with it and had to wash it off and put my clothes straight in the washing machine. Sillage is quite heavy, I'm unsure about the longevity because I could only tolerate it for 4 or 5 hours.

It’s a good but common summery-floral scent. There is no prominent notes in it-I can feel a generic citrusy-flowery vibe. Not bad but we saw it thousand times before.

Issey Miyake perfumes are not my favorites, but i like this one.

Here in Canada, The Bay (Husdson's Bay) has it, even on line.

Does anyone know when this will be available in the U.S?
