The longer you leave it, the more dry and sweet it becomes For years, Issy Miyake Nuit d’Issey Parfum has been my signature scent, garnering numerous compliments from both men and women. I vividly remember a guy in a retail store following me around just to ask, "WTF is that smell?" Women also adore it. This fragrance is ideal for winter and nighttime wear. This a fragrance someone wearing nice all black clothes in a office or date night in winter would smell like. **Performance:** I think people may have got longevity and silage confused with the EDT version as on my skin, it lasts as long as Dior Sauvage EDP and even longer on clothes, enveloping the senses without being overpowering. It maintains its presence for days on fabric. While Sauvage EDT serves as a reference point due to its widespread familiarity, Nuit d’Issey carries more weight and depth. Why do no youtubers talk about this? its 4x better than the shit clones they keep recommending that cost even more of this of BDC clone or sauvage etc while having more refinement and performance. I guess its a good thing as no one else will be realistically wearing this in public so their loss. **Value:** The price-to-performance ratio of this fragrance is unbeatable. At $89 NZD for 125ml of Parfum from discounters, it offers sophistication and uniqueness that are hard to match. The scent is deep, dark, and smoky, with an almost incense-like quality that avoids the common sweet notes found in many winter fragrances. It’s a fresh yet dark scent with peppery and fresh undertones, making it difficult to describe but incredibly appealing. **Dry Down and Projection:** Initially strong, the fragrance settles into a well-balanced projection after about 30 minutes, lasting for hours. Once fully dried down, it projects powerfully for half a day, lingering in a room long after application. There's nothing in my collection with a remotely similar scent profile—imagine a less fresh, more powdery and peppery version of Dior Sauvage. **Comparisons:** Dior Sauvage EDT costs around $200 NZD for 100ml with similar, if not slightly less, performance and projection compared to Nuit d’Issey. For $89, you get 125ml of Parfum that lasts just as long, if not longer. **Ratings:** - **Projection:** 10/10 – People can smell it from morning until lunchtime, even if I've just walked past. - **Smell:** 9/10 – Straight away, there's no alcohol scent at all, its pure deep mysterious Issy Miyake. It does not need the dry down due to alcohol but due to being so concentrated and quality it needs time to set on skin and mature. It’s unique, deep, and mysterious, though not as seamlessly blended as some high-end designer fragrances, but it has its own distinct charm. - **Performance:** 10/10 – It lasts all day on the skin and multiple days on clothes. - **Value:** 10/10 – It’s challenging to find a better-performing or smelling fragrance in this category. - **Compliments:** 10/10 – It garners as many, if not more, compliments than Sauvage, and I have not encountered anyone else wearing it in public over the past five years. **Summary:** Nuit d’Issey is a dark, mysterious, smoky, and peppery fragrance with a fresh twist. Are you guys below me getting the same version as me? Been buying this for over 7+ years the parfum version specifically and performance is NOT an issue. This will last the entire work day and projects 4-5 meters for the first few hours then about 2 meters for the 4-6 hours, after that id say it becomes elbow length scent. Story time. I was working in retail about 2020 and I wore this to work after about 2 hours after getting to work this courier drive came into the store and he must of smelt it from like 2 isles away but he was like and im not even fucking rephrasing or anything "What the fuck is that smell? Dude is that you? What is that?" I explained and showed him a photo of my phone of what I was wearing and he said it smelled very very good, this is the most extreme compliment iv had wearing this as now I work in corporate. I just had a compliment today from a girl from work ask me what im wearing as I walked about 1.5m next to her outside of the building lobby probably about 5 hours after I applied it. I think you guys are going nose blind or something but performance on this has never been an issue for me and iv probably owned about 6 bottles or so of this stuff or more over that period. This is by far my most complimented fragrance by both women and men even Sauvage has gathered me a good amount of compliments but this one has given me more and I think its due to to the smokiness which appeals masculine while there is sweetness from the tonka and vanilla which appeals to the women so together it creates a perfect balance. People that say "yeAH therE Are Better LeATher Frangrances SOUT there" mate this shit is cheap as fuck and unique as fuck and for this scent type, this is a crowd pleaser, the YSL Y version of what ever the fuck type scent this fragrance is. I cannot stand gourmand fragrances but this is the closest id get to one and everyone seems to like it too. Iv shown my cologne collection to probably 6-8 people at my house half being women and half guys and id say 90% will ask "What is this one?" and its the issey miyake Nuit dissey they pick up. Also after showing said collection I have had 2 people buy this exact fragrance because they like it so much. EDT version of this smells fucking shit, okay well not shit but its not like Sauvage EDT - EDP where its a slight change from one to the other. The EDT of this feels rough and completely different while the parfum version is SMOOTH and well rounded its literally the only choice, do not even look at the EDT version of this even if it was half the price. EDIT: Check my profile if you want an idea on performance as in people have commented on being able to smell it after a certain time/distance and id say this is very similar to dior sauvage EDT/EDP level of performance/projection from a couple years back to give you guys an idea and that has been the same for every bottle of this stuff iv bought.

I've had this one for awhile and I've given it plenty of runs. With that said, I am not a huge fan of the houses' other offerings with the exception of a few. This, however... Same boring kinda "2001: A Space Odyssey" obelisk type bottle. Too tall, too cumbersome on my shelves. If I put it in the front I have to move it to get to others, if I put it in the back it's too tall and have to maneuver it out. Fraghead problems, I know. Sprayer is too fine a mist but works very well. It looks pretty nice I guess and matches the name of the fragrance. Anyway... First blast is a leather/pepper combo which is followed up in seconds by a melange of citrus. Grapefruit is not discernible but it is definitely more sour than an orange or bergamot. That fades quickly unfortunately, which ushers in tonka and patchouli. The citrus doesn't fade entirely but is merely a third string characteristic. It's hard to tell as the pepper lends some freshness but the patchouli, to me, is a tad dirty hippy. However, paired with the clean new car leather, fresh pepper and semi-sweet vanilla, it doesn't come off earthy/dirty. It gives it a nice character. This is the mode the fragrance dies in. Somewhat linear but for this scent, not a bad thing at all. If I had to sum this fragrance up in one word... Sexy. The "nuit" moniker certainly fits here and it has an austere mystery man vibe to it while being pleasing. I can't imagine anyone being put off by it. If you want masculine, modern and sexy... This is a legit option. In the community I've noticed "007" is regularly referenced, so, here is a scent I would expect of the man. This could be dressed up or down, all ages. I think this is a definite winner for a date. Season is difficult since it has a freshness to it but is at the same time very dark. I would say all seasonal situations but very hot and humid. Performance leaves a little to be desired... Projection and sillage pretty good for about an hour, lingers (especially on clothes) for about 6-7. Not great for a parfum but hey... It smells absolutely fantastic and you can get it pretty cheap. Solid.

The EDT is one of my Top 5 scents, hands down. Finally, I got the opportunity to smell the EDP last night... At first, I thought it smelled just like the EDT. Then I realized, there's much less grapefruit in the beginning, and also the texture is different. Some would call it spicier due to the increased patchouli and pink pepper, although the spice is less pronounced and smoother to your nose. It has more spices that give it a smoother texture, if that makes any sense. Basically, if scents were sandpaper, the EDT would be like 120 grit sandpaper whereas the EDP would be 600 grit sandpaper. In the EDP, the sweetness is the same, the woody notes are a bit lighter, and the incense is heavier, or at least, it's more pronounced next to the strong leather note. The EDT has more character thanks to the heavier grapefruit, but that's likely what people complain about making it "screechy", and the EDP is more smooth and generic like La Nuit de L'Homme with smokier ingredients, or like Bleu De Chanel EDP's base notes without the lemon. Both are amazing! I think when I start running low on the EDT, I'll purchase the EDP, but I could potentially justify having both. Basically, the bottom line is: The difference between the EDT and EDP is equivalent to the difference between Bleu De Chanel EDT and EDP. Update: I now own both and I'm greatly more fond of the EDP for its longer life and more consistent performance, as opposed to the EDT which is louder in the opening and dies down more towards the end.

I just received my brand new bottle today. It's a blind buy and a successful one since its scent profile was a cross between its siblings that I also own. I own three 10 ml decant of Pulse of the Night (since a full bottle is so expensive and hard to find) which is my personal favorite of all time from the house but discontinued for some reason unfortunately, and full bottles of Polaris and Noir' Argent. I love them all especially Pulse. If you are familiar with any of those three, it pretty much shares the same DNA. I thought this is their line that focuses on evening themed fragrances that surprisingly drew some significant attention. This could be a good signature scent if you work nights in an office like call centers on cooler months or under a climate controlled environment and with coffee or tea while working. This one jibes well with my skin chemistry with great performance and projection. Best to wear from fall to early spring, for night outs or just simply chilling and staying cozy at home. I would say this caters to 25+ age group. Simply a gorgeous nocturnal beauty. Still, my number one is the discontinued Pulse of the Night. I'll do some full wearing's for future updates. For now, I'll give this juice a 9/10 “Let us spread the scents of peace and kindness. I fell in love with Issey Miyake fragrances for the first time with this perfume (and I already knew L' Eau d' Issey, which I consider a timeless masterpiece). This juice was an "instant love" for me, no doubt. It's bold, sophisticated, avant-garde, classy, surprising... And dark, really dark. Like a dense and black night... In which a small clearing of the clouds let you see a full moon. Nuit d'Issey Parfum is a magic potion that evokes mystery and exquisite nuances of a refined aromatic creation: It opens with delicate citrus notes conducted by the grapefruit, and rounded masterfully with gentle pink pepper... Soon they're padded with warm and sweet notes of leather & vanilla, patchouli and tonka... In a dark and creamy texture, sometimes almost "gourmand", but always absolutely mysterious, seductive and... Delicious! Other times the perfume floats in the air as if it were a caramelized, dark and balsamic licorice... And then hides in a heady smell with aromatic notes of incense. That's it: a magic potion, from the heart of the dark. - Longevity: 6 - 8h. - Projection: Moderate; the last hours almost a skin scent, but perfectly noticeable. - Mood: Perfect for nights and dates: It's mysterious, sophisticated, intoxicating, addictive ... - Scenario & Occasions: Better for nights (all year long, except extremely hot), but perfectly wearable on autumn, winter and early spring days.

This is fantastic value for money. Where I live, there is a particular discount chemist that has this (and many other fragrances, including high end / some niche for well below RRP) - so I can always score this for more than 50% off compared to retail. As for the scent itself - the opening is very intriguing (in a good way). I get this interesting combination that is both peppery yet somewhat refreshing at the same time. It is zingy - exciting to the point that I find myself constantly sniffing out for it like a dog in the opening. It settles down to a more leathery + vanilla combo. I am a huge fan of gourmand fragrances, and vanilla is one of my favourite notes. That said, this is different to me, and despite vanilla being a feature, I would not describe it as a gourmand fragrance at all. It is not your typical vanilla that may either punch you in the face with how "edible" it is, nor is it "creamy" like many others. Highly recommend any vanilla fans to get their nose on this one. I don't necessarily think this is a safe blind buy, as there are some peppery qualities to it that may not agree with everybody. To me, this is a great fragrance made even better by how comparatively cheap it is, since I can always get it on discount. But I suppose not everybody would be in the same boat.

This would be an absolute masterclass in 'dark-edged' perfumery, were it a better performer. Truth be told, none of the IM offerings I've had over the years were beast mode. Nor would I necessarily WANT them to be. But this is a perfect example of an exquisite scent profile done dirty by its lack of performance. Having said that... ...It is a fantastic MILD leather, and MILD spiciness, with MILD tonka and vanilla. Not too sweet, not too smoky or leathery. If everything in this composition were blown up by 25% or so, this would be in my top 20. Average in every category. It IS very, very good. One of my favorites, and I've owned Argent, Arctic, and Polaris as well at one point in time. Noir Ambre is another love, but distinctly different from this. I don't think you can go wrong with this. I can easily see myself wearing this Fall through Spring and even on cool summer evenings. The somewhat relaxed projection and sillage may be a benefit in restrained quarters, such as an indoor event or reception. Or church. Just be aware that it is an average performer. Anyone that says otherwise is exaggerating the truth. For the price it is going for now, it is a steal. All of the reputable discounters sell it for less than $60 or so.

Upon first receiving this fragrance, I was pretty turned off. I had this vision in my head of what it would smell like, and when I smelled it, it did not fit. It was very sharp and punchy to me, and kind of bugged me to have on my skin. Fast forward... One day I looked at the bottle and wanted to smell it again, still didn’t like it, but this time it sparked interest. Another day, saw the bottle, a curious mind grabs it for SOTD. Something sparked, it still started punchy at first spray, but then after a bit I could smell this amazing smell around me. I don’t know how to describe fragrances, but it smelled very classy and comforting at the same time to me. Like the way I was dressed (jeans and t shirt) didn’t fit the scent, but in a way it really did..? Ever since it clicked, I’ve really enjoyed putting this fragrance on. This is a manly smell, it’s clean and fancy, yet not uncomfortable to wear if you dress like I do, and it’s pretty damn sexy as well. Could be worn in any cooler weather occasion in my opinion. Fall has officially started weather wise where I live, and I’m wearing this right now and just loving it. For the price, this is a great, seductive manly scent.

The first time I tried this after blind buying, there was a strange kerosene-like note in the opening that wasn't awful, but took away from the wear. The leather, incense, and vanilla in the dry down is something special though, and I found myself reaching for it way more often than I anticipated. Wearing it earlier today and the petrol smell in the opening was gone. At least I couldn't smell it if it was still there. Whether I'm just used to it or somehow the fragrance has macerated and some notes are gone as the jus has cured, it doesn't really matter. The bottom line is that this is now a phenomenal fragrance with great performance. It's wearable both day and night during the cooler months and it's surprisingly office friendly given the freshness that I think comes from a green Tonka note. Whatever it is, it's different from most modern frags and yet it's extremely versatile as long as it's the right season. Issey Miyake really does make incredible winter fragrances and it's such a bummer that so many of the legendary flankers are impossible to find or get. Oh well, this stuff is so good, I don't really feel like Im missing out on much.

lovely fragrance! it opens with pepper, then a pleasant freshness of grapefruit is evident. but what i like the most is the balanced combo of leather, tonka beans and a soft incense. i dont like sweet fragrances but this is very well-done, not sticky and teeny at all. it's a great surprise because this scent is very underrated, nobody talks about it. nuit parfum is elegant, modern and slightely "black": it reminds a bit armani code and aigner black, but nuit smells far more refined(the aigner one to me is very cheap..). performance is moderate, good projection for the first two hours. this edp is better for fall and winter, for nightout situations because of the mysterious vibe. dark. seductive, mysterious: this is nuit parfum! bel profumo con pepe, uva, cuoio, fave tonka e un sottile tocco di incenso. mai troppo dolce, nuit parfum è bilanciato ed elegante. lo trovo dark, raffinato e misterioso. perfomance nella media. scent-8,5 longevity-7 sillage-7 uniqueness-8 presentation-6,5 versatility-8 compliment factor-8 back up bottle?maybe my vote-8,5 in one word- dark alternative- aigner black, armani code.

This is a very seductive scent. Women go crazy for this one, as it is wayy smoother than the EDT. It opens with a sharp, almost bitter grapefruit, which smells great in my opinion, but fades pretty quick. About 5-10 minutes after the first spray, the patchouli/leather start to reveal themselves over that amazing, refined base of incense. The incense in this produces one of the best and unique smokey accords--I visualize hot magma seeping into the cold ocean when I smell this accord. The patchouli and tonka add balance to this fragrance. Without either one, this would be a mess of a smell. They help to amplify the smokey incense while adding depth to the overall feel. The performance is better than average, but not crazy like one may expect. This is meant to sit closer to the skin as opposed to being "beast-mode". All in all, I would recommend this fragrance to those who are not brand new to fragrances. For the discerned noses, I think you'll be very pleased. This scent is way more refined than the EDT. 8.5/10 EDIT: The more I wear this stuff, the more I like it. I'm boosting my rating to a 9.5/10.

I've worn this for a few days and feel I understand this fragrance now- ready for a review. Issey Miyake's signature citrus gets a cameo in the opening and then disappears after a few minutes. What remains for the duration is a predominantly tonka/leather fragrance, rendered deep and complex by the patchouli and pepper. The patchouli in this does not dominate like it often does in other fragrances. It's in the background, providing an earthy, dark, slightly sweet backdrop for the other notes-truly a "night" scent. Very nicely blended. Performance is ok, not amazing, and doesn't really radiate out very far. I appreciate that this is not loud or cloying- no need to go easy on the trigger. I wear it to work with no fear of being "cologne guy" or overpowering the room. Of course, this would excel if worn on an evening out. I love Issey Miyake fragrances for their quality and class, and Nuit EDP is no exception. I get a hint of the original Nuit d'Issey in this (which I also love), but this variant takes us even deeper into the night.

For Winter/Night frags Issey Miyake already killed down their best DNA Trio Noir Ambre, Or Encens, & Pulse of The Night, but please let this one stay at least Nuit D'issey Parfum still can be a DNA replacement for Noir Argent, Polaris, Bois Arctic. Im really such a Big fan of Issey Miyake DNA specially the Vintage OG, this Nuit D'issey Parfum amazing Sophisticated and Seductive scent, it's very well blended and bold. What I like of this DNA,that even this a Nighttime frags it's still brings me Clean and Fresh Vibe, seems like I'm wearing a fresh scent in the winter , I think it's because of the leather and patchouli notes. My wife as someone who doesn't care about fragrance, she said I smell like Mint😂 Careful nor over spray this, usually 4-5spray is very enough, this is BEAST MODE just like when I'm spraying SNOI by Afnan. I'm curious if the OG Version got a PARFUM flanker, I'm definitely want to try it. If Issey Miyake will once again discontinued their Night Frags at least don't take down this one, just take down EDT version😅

Nuit d Issey Parfum is a warm, woody and spicy fragrance. It resembles the EDT version, but it adds more sweetness, reduces the intensity of the incense, and removes some herbal and citrus notes. At the opening it is very similar to its EDT version, with slightly smoky and spicy notes. However, as the minutes go by it becomes sweeter, the leather note accompanied by a vanilla-tonka base can be perceived, but without the characteristic notes of Nuit d Issey EDT disappearing completely. The EDT version is more versatile, it could be used on cool days during spring and autumn, not the Parfum version, which seems appropriate only for autumn and winter. It does not seem like a fragrance aimed at a youth audience, but it does seem moderately mature. Its longevity was more than 10 hrs. with me and the projection starts strong, but goes down slightly, without becoming a fragrance close to the skin.

This is a very hit-or-miss scent. It either projects great and lasts forever on your skin or it simply doesn't. I'm lucky enough to say it's not the latter on my skin. But in the case of my mom and dad, it's true to say they're the latter. This is a great scent and wraps around very nicely. Macerates really nicely too. Not "overpowering" like other frags with a similar profile but also not too monotonous. Wouldn't blind buy, I highly recommend smelling and testing it beforehand or getting a decant instead of a bottle that may or may not work on your skin type. The bottle and cap is great but the atomizer doesn't spray well, do NOT sissy-spray with this fragrance. 8/10; dependant on skin type. This perfume reminds me of the Mercedes CLS55. You either love it and wouldn't mind having one forever, or you dont. Very hit or miss.

If you like the EDT and want a deeper and more night focus take on that fragrance definitely pick this up. What can I say, I love this fragrance, it's sexy, dark, and creamy and has depth. If you like La nuit YSL, D&G the one, then you will likely dig this. It does it's own thing, but it's in the same family and would be used for the same occasions. Spice, woods, vanilla, leather and incense (patchouli?). I like the EDT but I love the parfum because in my opinion it's more well rounded and much deeper. Performance is decent and I havent experienced the bad performance others are talking about. Edit: this has become a favorite of mine, so good, and honestly I don't hear anyone talking about it which is a shame, but at least I'll smell unique. For me this will likely forever be in my rotation, and I don't say that lightly.

Been lucky enough to pick up a 75ml bottle for next to nothing. First 20-30 seconds are a touch rough, but then it opens up into this stunning leathery, woody, spicy number. The opening reminds me of a scent that travels through a local wood-fire restaurant that serves hickory-smoked meats. Slightly boozy, ever-so-slightly medicinal (peated whisky??) It’s fantastic. Slightly sweet with the vanilla, but not sickly sweet. Projection = good, not too strong Longevity = great. First 2-3 hours is fantastic before it settles down. I’m still getting a whiff 10 hours later. So good, I’ve picked up a 125ml bottle for a steal. Can’t work out why something so good is being given away. Unless it’s end of this line, which means I’ll hang on to this for some time. Do yourself a favour, and grab a bottle while you can.

I received this fragrance by mistake I had ordered Polaris, and Amazon sent the Parfum instead. After receiving a refund and being told to keep the bottle, I immediately reordered Polaris from a different vendor. Anyway on to the Parfum, It is very similar to the edt just more well rounded, and the leather is a bit less prominent which makes it more mass appealing IMHO. The edt's downfall was longevity.... No problem here I get 9 hours with a nice scent Bubble. Projection is great for around 3 hours of that. I'm very pleased with this id have never given it a chance due to the edt's longevity issues, but this is everything I had hoped for from the edt with an even better scent. I will be wearing this Alot on Cooler summer nights and in the early spring and possibly even fall. 9.5/10

This is surprisingly so so good!!!! As the girls point of view, i can say that this thing is sexy. Its soft spicy with a wrap of woody notes. Its airy so its not heavy obnoxious. Initial smell, its kinda generic mens perfume but once it settles, my oh my it’s intoxicating. The spices are rounder somehow compared to most other spicy men perfume that tends to get crispy. The tonka gives it a yummy smell that i cant get enough. Leather n tonka in a mens perfume is always a good touch. To confirm the review even deeper, i had a date with a guy who’s... idk meh?? He’s nowhere near goodlooking or anything, he’s not a very good conversationalist either. But once we got to the car and hug, damn... i couldnt keep a distance, i found myself sniffing him all night long *wink wink*

Based on the notes I would have chosen the EDT version, but after smelling them both I can say the EDP is the more refined and better smelling one imo. The EDT is more woody and smoky but to my nose it has a synthetic smell and it can seem rather cheap. I will retest it in the future for sure. I just got the EDP version and I can tell it is perfect for the spooky season. It has a creamy, smooth, slightly sweet vanilla and tonka bean, mixed up with a dark smoky leather and patchouli. The pepper is there only to balance the fragrance, but I wouldn't have noticed it if I haven't read the notes, also the grapefruit smell lasts only in the opening for 20 seconds. Overall vibe of the fragrance is that of a dark powdery vanilla.

Opens up as an animalic peppery leather scent that blends with a hint of citrus coming from the grapefruit. Makes me feel like an absolute badass!! What really got me to love this fragrance is the dry-down. The grapefruit and pepper subdue themselves after 30mins, & the vanilla, tonka bean combination rise up, while the leather still lingers in the background. This is a perfect date night fragrance, especially for those who consider D&G The One to be a bit too sweet. Projection is something to be desired, but the longevity is decent, around 6-8hrs on my skin (becomes a skin scent after 3hrs or so). Wouldn't really consider this to be a blind-buy as the opening may be headache inducing for some. A 10/10 for me

Just blind bough last week. After a few time of use, I can say I totally in love with this. Nuit Parfum opens with a bomb of pink pepper but in a lovely way. 30 minutes later, it transfers into a vanilla heaven with a touch of leather BUT patchuli is clearly there. It's dark, sweet (but not so much), seductive and mature. Probably for 25+. To my nose, it has niche quality. And for a price of 70AUD (chemistwarehouse), this is a steal. My best deal of this year. Suitable for cool nights, autumn and such. Suit and tie. Longvity is really good. I can still smell it after the shower. Sillage is between moderate and good.

Somebody else mentioned root beer in the opening and I definitely get that. A little peppery, which almost makes it seem a bit effervescent. This dries down into a very nice leather scent, a little stronger than suede but not work boot strength. The sillage is disappointing, though. This quickly becomes a skin scent, albeit a pleasant skin scent. The bottle is annoying...the lid does not go on and off easily. This is my first Issey Miyake fragrance so I'm not sure if that is par for the course or this bottle is flawed somehow. I got this at a discount store at a decent price so I'd say it was a win overall.

Nuit d'issey is an enjoyable scent This is my first perfume where patchouli dominates. And to my surprise my nose can barely tell the difference between this great perfume and some other VETIVER fragances I have such as Carven and Guerlain. It opens up citrusy and with a bit of patience you can get the grapefruit. After a couple of minutes I get a bit of spicy kick. After a little while the Patchouli takes over as green as ever but at the end of your sniff a bit of sweet shows up probably from vanilla. I enjoy this fragance in much the same way I enjoy Carven Vetiver or Guerlain Vetiver.

This flew under my radar for a long time while I confised it always woth the EdT (which is much rougher and different), while I can brag and be happy that I had almost all special releases (Or Encense, Polaris, Silver, Ambre Noire etc.) I can say, THIS IS THE BEST DRYDOWN from Issey Miyake. Clean, sophisticated, deep and rich, dark. Amazing, for the price it is one of the best evening, not necesare a romantic one, a normal one: pints, movie, club, late steaks... This is one of those real gems, quiet and affordable but not shouting "here I am". 100% I will repurchase.

I have been a fan of Issey Miyake frags since my father brought the original bottle and I would sneak sprays on before school. I always loved the fresh yet boozy scent of the Yuzu,I used to call it a “fancy lemon smell” before I discovered the note.Many pit the OG Issey against Aqua Di Gio but this Nuit D’Issey line is in a league of its own I can’t find any cologne I own similar to this,even Noir Argent is unique in its bubblegum sweet yet dark tones I often find myself wearing these during the day even though the title suggests night.

Leather fragrances are generally very off-putting to me, but this is a very creamy and sensual leather accompanied by juicy grapefruit, bright pink pepper, and sweet vanilla to create a perfect balance. On skin, you can smell the leather, but on clothes it is more of a sweet citrusy fragrance. To me, this is the perfect balance between bright notes and dark notes. Not to mention at discounters this is definitely a steal. If you are generally disgusted by leather notes, this one is a good one to try as it is not a nauseating leather.

It's so so so good. Bright crisp opening, but not like a citrusy warm weather type; it's more like the cold breeze hitting your face when you step outside. Except you're wearing a warm leather jacket-- prominent leather in the beginning. The Tonka and patchouli base makes itself known soon, but pushes the vanilla and leather notes out rather than quenching them. A whole day later and the Tonka and patchouli is still noticeable. 10/10, especially for the price.

Funny enough, I saw this today at a pharmacy, strange seeing it there so I grabbed it. Very dirty patchouli note with a nice tonka bean note, I do get the leather undertone also. The pink pepper is viable also, unfortunately I barely get a grapefruit or vanilla note. I really like this after a couple of minutes once the dirty patchouli note calms down a little. Very well made, I dig this. Projects well and I sense this will last 5-6 hours plus

Second review on this fragrance, but I will make it short. I own around 250 fragrances and this is easily in my top 10. Yes it's that good. Man I can't get enough of this, and it's easily my favorite issey and it's not even close. Also on MY skin I have absolutely no issues with performance or longevity. You can get this for around 40-60 dollars on discounters for a 125 ml and this puts some niche fragrances I own to shame. Bravo.

This is one of my favourite all time scents due to its great performance and very unique scent. Definitely a masculine scent with strong notes of leather, pepper and some vanilla. I tried the EDT version of this and it was a real disappointment in terms of performance, but this is a moderate beast. I'd say it's too heavy to wear on a summers day, but it's great for autumn and winter days and evenings. Definitely worth the money.

A sweeter version of the EDT. The leathery sweetness combined with the original spicy formula gives this Parfum version a vibe similar to that of Paco Rabbane's 1 Million. For this reason, I prefer the EDT version & I appear to be among the vast majority given how the EDT's popularity exceed that of the Parfum. Nonetheless, A good perfume worthy of a try especially to those who like the EDT & 1 Million.

For the first few minutes of wearing this, the smell is strange. It's a mix of all sorts of things. But then this morphs into a fantastic tonka/vanilla smell with leather and patchouli following close behind. Projection and longevity are solid. I got this at a great price, so for me, this is a steal and a love. BTW...this reminds me of Armani Code Absolu, just not as beast-mode, but way more affordable.

Most wearable leather parfum out there with a slight almost dry background (patchouli?). Manly and enigmatic. Will undoubtedly smell different from most other fragrances. Ideal from September thru April, a night gem to be paired with a nice leather jacket, vest or shirt. Regrettably Nuit D'Issey Parfum has little projection and potency. The price is right. Do not blind buy.

PRO TIP. I hate layering perfumes but the smoke/incnece in this has to be the exact same chemical they use in leau deissy pour homme intnese. If you do 50% sprays of nuit d'issey and pour homme intense it turns into an all season fragrance with no clashing, the smokiness compliments each other and the yuzu compliments the sweetness of nuit di'issy.

whoa... strong! love it from opening to dry down. reminds of la nuit de l'homme but not as sweet. tends to be a little more powdery. all in all its a great scent. longevity is awesome and im talking 12+ hours with about 5-6 of nice projection. overall rating for me is 9/10 the scent, longevity, and projection are all above average. 2 sprays max!!!

Having the edt and the Austral ldt edt in my collection i just had to buy this, and i am not dissapointed at all, this feels like the two others combined in to a more complete scent, as an edp it has a more quality to it than the edt ones, if you liked nuit you will propably like this one too, great smell and very nice for Autumn/Winter.

I wore this when I met my inlaws for the first time and ill tell you its very very well made, its sexy and complex and just smells like such high quality sweetness, it doesnt have that wretched synthetic sweetness, its just slightly tart but not as tart as its flanker nuit de argent, I highly recommend this for date nights.

It's very nice leather, patchouli, mild sweetness and juicy citrus. Very classy, dark and masculine. It's good fragrances for anyone with age 30 and above and it lasted on me for 9 hrs. So I'm not sure about blind buy and it's good. And don't worry about comment of the person below me. There are people like that everywhere

This stuff is 🔥and suitable for any occasion. It's an easy purchase that you won't regret. The opening is captivating. The bright mix of pink pepper and grapefruit perfectly settles into a dusty patchouli and sweet leather skin scent. I think it might be my favorite Issey Miyake. 8.5/10

Imagine the original Nuit d'Issey. Now imagine it deeper..richer.. That's how Nuit d'Issey parfum smells like. A flanker that stays true to the original Nd'I & adds just the right amount of twist. Not enough twist to own them both at the same time, but alternate between them.

I just got a bottle of the Parfum. The scent dna is so familiar. I think it either smells similar to dunhill desire bronze or Platinum, either one of it. But both bronze and platinum aren't listed and hardly any information on them and I have both, together with the Edt.

Blind buy. Like most of my buys. Lovely bottle. Massive lid. Long lasting. Good sillage. This thing smells so damn good. I get a strong smokiness from this. Think leather jacket biker that has good hygiene, but is a casual smoker. Good stuff

I thought it had tobacco at its heart, such is the blend. I find the EDT a little thick/dank, and green - in contrast the parfum version is much less thick, and perhaps even more wearable. I want this one bad. Delicious! Have a great day!

Brooding incense, leather ,slightly waxy incense. Classy. IIssey Miyake has a good reputation of not being overpowering , while this is still a pretty strong fragrance and good for cooler weather. Well blended and interesting scent.

Imagine a quite night with full moon reflecting its light on the calm lake . The god of night arrives down from heavens to the lake. The perfume he will be wearing is this one. It is sensual,sexy and a nightly passion.

Smells just like man in black by Bvlgari once you get to the heart notes but 8.5/10 for me performance is great on my skin and I wear this when I want to appear quiet and sophisticated on a dark outfit
