Ambro de Jacomo

Ambro de Jacomo is an oriental scent, with pronounced woodiness and amber foundation. True, there are similar fragrance notes with JPG Le Male. However, it is a much richer, deeper, layered scent that reminds me of a slightly sweet incense stick. Top Notes: Peppermint, Armoise, Bergamot, Rosewood, Cumin, Neroli Heart Notes: Thyme, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Lavender Bottom Notes: Cedarwood, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Incense, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Musk, Amber Ambro is not similar to Carven Homme; if anything, it can be more accurately be compared to Ralph Lauren's Polo Double Black, also very incense oriented in its final perception. Great fragrance that is quite difficult to get.

Yup, I smell Le Male. I really like Le Male so I think this smells good as well. However, I own a huge bottle of Le Male so for me there's no point in this. It's not 100% the same but my amateur sniffer says it's so close that I don't need to buy this as well. If you love Le Male and just want Jacomo's take and slightly different nuances on it, then by all means go for it. Smells very nice but extremely familiar. Kinda like how your wife's sister smells after borrowing your wife's fragrance. Nice, tempting, familiar, but just not worth it. The sister or Ambro. ;)

@ChrisInBrooklyn I wore it several years ago, bought blind, and It is an very interesting fragance. For my nose and sking is closer to Le male, but It is nothing to do with Declaration, Terre d Hermes and Kouros as the `People who like this also like` chart. On me It became into in a cozy fragance, may be with the earthy-style of Jaipur... tonic, comfortable, may be creamy or resinous, amber, less rought than Le Male, but, yes, is similar to its.

It is feared that large chance that it's a JPG Le Male clone. (At least, it seems the "Basenotes' comments, too!) I am also a big fan of Jacomo fragrances and still has not disappointed !!! My country has not sold the product ..... If it will be in stock, I'll buy it! I look forward to!

Would love if someone gave their thoughts on this. I love the Jacomo house (older frags) and Ambro sounds interesting. But if its like JPG Le Male, I'm not interested ;-)
