Art Collection by Jacomo #09

Bought this on impulse just because it has the word "Art" as part of it's name and honestly,it's such a surprising number. #09 kicked off with a bright citrus opening with the orange and lemon providing the spark while being supported by the sharp pink pepper.At this point,it's kinda like sweet and sour scent which may turn off some people. 10 minutes or so,the heart started to rise.Definitely the highlight of #09,imagine a vanilla-coco coated mango.Rich,creamy,fruity and sweet.Real nice gourmand development while the top notes lingered beneath it.The base was a nice clean sandalwood and cinnamon. Nicely layered and I found it easy to tell all the notes apart. It doesn't really project strongly but I get whiffs of it every now and then,very comforting and velvety. Not overly feminine,has hints of masculinity so I find it quite unisex. The longevity and projection is average but that's the least of my concern. Worth a try. Projection - 30 mins Longevity 4-5 hrs -Ciroscents-

First of all, thank you to Sky76Sky for letting me try the jacomo art series, 2 of the 3 are now on my want list :) This is my favourite from the series. A creamy, almost edible mango scent to begin with. Like a bowl of freshly sliced mango covered in whipped cream, sprinkled with sultanas and raisins to give it a slightly spicy kick. The praline adds a smooth, melt in your mouth quality, teased by a slight hint of cinnamon, with a side order of fresh red berries :) Upon dry-down, the above description remains, but i am now getting a slight masculine cologne scent emanating from my pulse points, which i might add, is rather nice. I think that might be due, in part, to the lemon and sandalwood combo. It reminds me very much of a glade candle i have which is apparantly scented with honey and chocolate, with a slight 'cologne' edge to it (makes the house smell divine) All in, a superb, lightly spiced, fruity-gourmand scent suitable for almost any occasion. xxx

Extremely similar to Remarkable People Etat Libre d`Orange. I Have them both and I did test them side by side. 100ml is only 20 dollars .very inexpensive and Underrated Fragrance. The Scent is Nice, beautiful Clean Fresh Fruity with a hint of cinnamon, Good for Indoors and close encounters and NOT Cheap Scent at all. it's Unisex IMO. the Only downside is Sillage which is close to the skin but Longevity is fair around 6-7 Hours as long as the Remarkable People has similar Performance but around 100 dollars price. literally, don't miss it. it's a good one Scent 9/10 Sillage 6/10 Longevity 7/10 Affordability 10/10

I bought this and gave it away to my friend because I found it too masculine. The pepper is strong despite the fruity and chocolate notes. Guess what? He loves it! Didn't bat an eye or question the gender 🤣 The bottle isn't girly either so maybe that helps 🤷 Smells great on him. Could've been marketed as unisex!

مثل بقیه‌ی عطرهای جاکومو بوی خوبی داره که متعلق به خودشه. تقلید نشده. رایحه‌ای خوراکی و دوست‌داشتنی داره با قیمت مناسب البته. Like the rest of the Jacomo Fragrances, it has a good smell that belongs to itself. Not imitated and lovely and reasonable price, of course.

It's a very unusual scent. Bit masculine to my nose, but definitelly beautiful. My partner who hates perfumes in general really likes it. Staying power is unfortunatelly not great on my skin.

Pleasantly fruity but disappointingly ordinary. Perhaps another case of "too many cooks spoil the broth"? A blind buy for me, my 100ml tester arrived a couple of days ago and it smelled so very familiar... I've been spritzing away madly and tugging at my brain trying to recall what this reminds me of. Finally found it: Beyonce's Heat Rush. Yup, no kidding! I'm wearing both now and they're remarkably close with #09's mango and HR's passionfruit mirroring one another. One big difference: #09 lasts only 1-2 hours while Heat Rush stays around for 4-6. Get over any lingering prejudice you may have about celeb scents and you'll find Beyonce's fragrance the better buy. I can just imagine some marketing team assuring themselves that few people attracted to the Jacomo brand would be familiar with Beyonce's fragrance line, so, what the heck? Seriously, if this is Jacomo going after the niche market they really need to try harder.

Art Collection #09 is my least favorite of the three Jacomo Art Collection scents. Please note that I still have it in my Want list and I've given it a good strong "like." I think it's the most commercial and least interesting of the three, but it still has a lot going for it. Sunny citrus and mango are the dominant top notes. They're nice, true, juicy and not too sweet. More natural fruit than candied fruit. They yield to a brief phase where the praline is noticeable, but please don't write this one off as a fruity floral or gourmand. After the praline, and true to form with all the Jacomo scents I have tried, comes a lovely dry-down that lingers for a good five to six hours on my skin. And guess what? It smells remarkably like Bvlgari's Jasmin Noir. :-) Lots of sandalwood. A little spice. Not so much vanilla. It's an unexpected twist that gives the scent depth and complexity. Very pretty overall.

I gathered all three from Jacomo art series- number 2, number 8 and - now number 9. As always with Jacomo Art its a surprise. No matter what you expect note-wise its always something else big time. Its always different from what you know. Here I expected cinnamon-bursting berry-juice. In reality its first of all woodsy, with hint of cola, then spicy-citrusy, and only then fruity-chocolaty, but not in typical way. Its hard to call this gourmand, but woodsy unisex fragrance with spice, on sweet-berry side - most definitely. I do realise its purpose - after VERY surrealistic-urban number 2 and VERY eastern strong spicy number 8 was need for something more easy-to-wear for majority of guys, because we know, looking at today's perfume market - that sweet type of frags, which tends to gourmand side, sells the best...

ho spruzzato sul polso un piccolo decant di questo profumo con molti pregiudizi, stante la piramide olfattiva fruttata con cioccolato. invece, contro ogni aspettativa, questo accordo è per me gradevole: probabilmente è la frutta accoppiata ai fiori che non mi piace. qui ritrovo soltanto frutta polposa, non caramellata e iperdolce, tra cui spicca il mango e poi, meno nettamente, la pesca con qualche sentore agrumato. anche se l'effetto è del tutto naturale, nel fondo si rintraccia qualche nota di cannella leggera e cioccolato. l'effetto complessivo non è gourmand, tantomeno di "celebrity scent" dolciastro. è un profumo onestamente tropicale, senza essere stucchevole. buono.

I feel like I am at one of my Indian relations brightly coloured and noisy weddings in the Punjab. Nobody drinks alcohol so there are masses of different fruit juices and teas. The usual array of Indian sweets as brightly coloured as the plates they sit on. Its a fruity/indian sweets party but some spices faintly making an appearance. The fruit notes smell just like the freshly squeezed juices. Its a shame the longevity or sillage aernt better but I will just have to keep it with me for top ups.

This perfume makes me think of Nirmala at the begining, because of the big mango note , but afterwards, they evolve quite differently . Nirmala is more like a fruit basket , whereas n°9 has spice . I love this n°9 , but i prefer Nirmala . However, they both prove that fruity perfumes are not necessarily childish or cheapsmelling !

Spicy, creamy, smokey dark fruity smell. I absolutely love it. The slight sweetness of the fruit blends perfectly with the spicy smokey notes. It has good staying power and I can still smell it after 5 hours.I will be trying the other fragrances in this collection.

Pleasantly sweet and fruity, but not overpoweringly so. Spiced mango and sweet pralanes stand out the most on my skin, and dry down into a very mild sandalwood and cinnemon that remains warm on the skin for hours. Simply delicious!

Beautiful mango fragrance... so lovely, spicy and sweet. i'm inlove with this one. very very good!! not a cheap scent at al..

An original fragrance; fizzy and tropical, on me it smells mango and orange with a hint of cinnamon.

It is an unusual perfume in nature and I could see lots of people who tested this perfume share very similar thoughts too. To be honest, I'm still not sure which category this perfume falls to - Yes, it has fruity vibe but it's not your sugary fruits which comes from most of fruity floral fragrances. It has a slight hint of spices but you can't feel that much if you're not really experienced with raw spices (I'm staying in South-east Asia, where lots of spices are used when we're cooking dishes). Woody background is present in the perfume trail, but she is very shy and doesn't really show up herself until the end of the trail. In my personal opinion, this beauty should fall under semi-gourmand category since the main MVPs of this perfume are praline and mango, but you should consider this as a 'Grown-up' gourmand. It's not sugary sweet, but it is very 'tangy' sweet type of perfume with a hint of spices and smokey woody touch. I know that this perfume was created for women, but as many people have mentioned, I find this perfume could be shared between men and women as well. That was main reason why I stated at the first line - 'unusual perfume in nature', which is containing the note that would appeal more to women, but strangely, I could sense that masculinity is there. I don't know whether it will help you guys or not, but this perfume is currently used by my younger cousin at the moment and he LOVES it. He doesn't really use perfume because he hates it in general, but it seems like he is really having a big crush on this one which I don't understand (he doesn't understand either, but anyway he craves)...

I love gourmand perfumes and this is simply stunning! #9 is a journey of wonderful surprises. It starts off deceivingly fresh and breezy. I get lots of juicy citrus and a smattering of berries. It leads me into a false sense of security as I now believe I am inhaling a gorgeous, fresh, fruity, floral. Just I settle into a familiar comfort zone, the chocolate, praline note steps in, delighting the olfactories. I simply adore chocolate in a perfume. The more calorific, the better and this is chocolate, praline, vanilla. It makes me want to eat myself. At this stage it reminds me of all the very best features of Lancome's VEB. Having said that, in my opinion, Vie est Belle is very immature in comparison with Art #9. This is a delicious gourmand perfume with lots going on aside from sugary sweetness. As the smell of cupcakes surrounds me, this wonderful perfume morphs into sweet and spicy, cinnamon which wraps itself around a mild vanilla and sandalwood package. You have to appreciate gourmands to love this perfume. Contrary to other reviews on here, I don't think it's such a crowd pleaser, but more of a crowd puller. Not everyone can carry this off, but I know that I am simply craving more of it. Beautiful, scrumptious, calorie laden, addictive, sweet, long lasting, perfume.

Probably this is not working on my skin very well. I expected a warm, winter flavour chocolate praline with a bit of cinnamon, or at least a nice vanilla drydown, since my skin normally amplifies vanilla in perfumes. But what I got is a crisp green (probably from the pink pepper) mango and orange scent. Straight up. It's also completely linear, stays the same from initial spray until it fades away completely. I was really disappointed at first, and took me a few months to overcome that disappointment, so much that I even put it up for swap, but without success. So I started wearing it as an everyday scent to finish it off as soon as I can. And I realised that I actually like it! It might be very fruity (I'm not usually into obviously fruity fragrances), but it's so very reaistic as well, I'm surprised. The best mango impersonation I've ever smelled, and now I'm happy to own it. And it's incredibely longlasting as well, easily 8 hours, and sillage is nice too. Again, it's not very girl and feminine, but it isn't dependent on seasons so I can wear it any time of the year. I find it perfect for those days when I feel comfortable in just a tee and hoodie.
