It's Me For Her

Wow! Upon first spritz there is over-the-top pineapple and pear. A veritable fruit salad. If it stayed here I would give it a big-thumbs down, but I've tried many Jacomo scents, and the best part is always the dry down. Sure enough, after fifteen minutes, this moves from a gourmand fruity scent to a lovely modern floriental. Warm, spicy, a bit powdery. Great combo of iris and sandalwood that was definitely a scent I could wear and enjoy. It's not at the top, but it is definitely on the wish list. I passed my sample on to my 21-year-old niece, as it has a youthful vibe that will probably work well on her skin.

It's me is not for me. The first seconds were like punch in the nose - suffocating patchouli plus the annoying sweetness of dried fruits. Two hours later I can smell the pineapple, but my nose can't detect any other notes.

the minimalist modern bottle took my eye in the store. so is the scent inside modern? hmmm, to some extend,but not in a good way. at the first spray I could smell almost nothing! I have this problem with some perfumes with strong musk notes,but as you see here no musk is listed. later it changed to be something extremely sour and gross. yeah,I smell lots of pineapple,but not in a pleasant way. it's kind of unripe green pineapple mixed with other sour notes.floral?no patchouli?hmm,maybe a drop of it,sweet??! you must be kidding! it's not a bad idea to make sure notes go well together before putting it in a bottle of a well-known brand.
